WHALEN SPEED WSRD 2017+ CAN AM X3 Injector
Installation Instruction
- PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE PROPER SAFTY EQUIPMENT AS THE FUEL RAIL MAY BE PRESSERIZED. AND BY REMOVING AN INJECTOR, IT WILL RELEASE THAT FUEL. PLEASE BE AWARE.
WHALEN’S SPEED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

you do not have to remove fuel line
-
unplug the injector connector from the factory injectors.

remove both t30 Torx mounting screws from intake manifold.

start removing fuel rail
-
KEEP injectors installed
-
we removed the entire rail (shown in picture) from the engine bay, just to give us room to swap the injectors out.

EACH INJECTOR HAVE A SAFTETY CLIP. THEY’LL NEED TO BE REMOVED.

with THE safety clips removed from each injector. remove them.

beware of fuel
-
clean and replace with Wsrd big injectors.
- O-RING GREASE ISN’T A BAD IDEA FOR EASIER NSTALL.

Reinstall fuel rail with new injectors back into the intake manifold. next will be installing mounting bolts back and tightening them down to secure fuel rail.

install supplied injector harness adapters to new injectors and into oem engine harness

after everything is properly installed, key-on power and confirm theres no fuel leaks
