GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the unit for the first time, carefully wash all the parts and
accessories intended to come in touch with food, such as the container, lid,
rostrum and blades. CAUTION: close the lid before start processing the food.
Disconnect the power plug from the socket before touching any accessory,
especially the blades. If some food stops the blades, before removing the
food, unplug the device from the electrical outlet.
Bring knob on “0” (OFF) position before inserting the plug in the socket.
Do not insert too large pieces of food inside container, especially hard
foods. It is recommended to pre-chop food. Do not process very hot food
(maximum temperature 60 Celsius degree).
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Do not let the
appliance running continuously for more than 2 minutes, make at least 5
minutes rest.
Never exceed the maximum quantity indicated on the container.
At the end of the process, wait for the blade to completely stop before
removing the food from the container. Once you finished using the unit, it is
recommended to wrap the power cord so as to ensure a better cleaning and to
avoid any risk of damage.
When processing fruits, it is recommended to remove the pit and peel.
For a better cleaning, it is recommended using warm tap water and restricting
the use of detergents. In this case, rinse thoroughly. Do not immerse the
motor unit in water or other liquids; clean the motor housing with a damp
cloth. Blades and rostrum are very sharp: be careful not to cut yourself
during cleaning or when removing the accessories.

OPERATING
- Place the motor unit (G) on a flat and stable surface.
- Insert the glass (D) on the motor unit (G). Make sure the assembling has taken place in a correct way, since otherwise the safety device inhibits the product from running.
- Place the food in the container (D) without exceeding maximum capacity of 1500ml.
- Lower the lid (B) correctly above the container.
- Connect the power plug and switch on appliance with the knob (H). This blender has 2 speeds and the PULSE function.
- During use, always keep the lid close, in the case some food blocks the blades from running, unplug the device before removing it.
For best results, process food first at lower speed, then at the highest. The blender is ideal for making milkshakes, smoothies, sorbets, sauces, creams, cocktails etc… This appliance is not suitable for crushing ice, frozen foods, cereals, rice and coffee, as they may damage the blades.
SAFE MODE
This model has a safety device: the device only works if the container (D) is
properly inserted into the motor block (G). If the glass is removed, or if it
is not properly inserted, the motor stops. If it happens, properly assemble
the glass container.
FIRST USE
Remove and install the glass few times without plugging the unit or adding
fruits or vegetables. Follow these steps to make practice. Wash the lid and
the jug with warm water and dishwashing liquid. Other accessories with
electrical parts, such as the motor block, must be cleaned with a damp cloth
and dry immediately.
CLEANING
Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water, but wash it with a damp cloth and non-
abrasive detergent. Also avoid any infiltration of water into the motor
housing. Container, blades and lid can be washed like everyday crockery with
non-abrasive sponge and mild detergent or in a dishwasher. Dry them
thoroughly, before assembling them to the unit. For a quick cleaning, fill up
half the glass with tap water and and turn on the device for a few seconds.
It is possible to remove the blade set. To do this, turn the container upside
down and rotate the blade set clockwise until you unblock it. When mounting,
tighten strongly.
