Safety Instructions

General
Important! Read carefully before use or maintenance and keep for future reference.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Electrical Safety

  • Do not use a damaged power plug or loose electrical outlet.
  • Do not move the product by pulling the power cord.
  • To prevent the power cord from being damaged or deformed, do not forcibly bend it or run it under a heavy object.
  • Do not plug in and unplug the power plug repeatedly.
  • Unplug the appliance before repair, inspection or parts replacement.
  • Remove any dust or water from the power plug.
  • Unplug the appliance if it is not to be used for a long time.

Electrical Safety

  • If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Do not attempt to repair or modify the power cord.
  • This product shall only be used together with the included power supply unit.
  • If any part is damaged, the product should not be used.

Installation Safety

  • The product is only intended for household use under normal operating conditions.
  • Do not install the air purifier near a heating device.
  • Do not use the product in wet environments or in environments with high humidity, such as the bathroom or in a room with great variations in temperature.
  • This product is not a substitute for proper ventilation, regular vacuum cleaning or the functionality of an extractor hood or fan while cooking.
  • Always place and use the product on a dry, stable, even and horizontal surface.
  • Leave at least 20 cm (8 in) of free space around the product.
  • Do not use the product in areas where flammable gases or combustible materials are used or stored.
  • Do not exert excessive force or subject the product to bumps and bangs.
  • Install the product so that no obstacles around the product block the circulation of air.

Operational Safety

  • Never place the product in water.
  • Do not disassemble, repair or modify the product.
  • Unplug the product before you clean it.
  • Do not spray any flammable materials into the air inlet.
  • Do not stick fingers or foreign objects into the air inlet or outlet.
  • Clean or replace the filters according to filter replacement cycles. Product performance may otherwise deteriorate.
  • Do not push or lean against this product since it may tip over and cause physical injury or product malfunction.
  • The device occasionally might produce noises similar to cracking. This happens when large particles come into contact with the Filter Unit while the device is operating and are not dangerous in any way. If this occurs regularly, clean the Filter Unit.
  • If the air purifier keeps producing a strange noise, burning smell or smoke, immediately remove the power plug from the electrical outlet and call our Customer support.
  • The product does not remove carbon monoxide (CO) or radon (Rn). It cannot be used as a safety device upon accidents involving combustion processes and hazardous chemicals.

Maintenance Cycles

The maintenance and replacement cycles below may differ depending on the operating environment and the frequency of use.
The Activated Carbon Filter is an optional additional filter which can be purchased separately.

First steps

  1. Tilt the Main Body (1) to the front.
  2. Remove the Top Grid (2) by pulling the handle in the center.
  3. Remove the Shipping Protection above the Filter Unit (7).
  4. Place the Top Grid (2) back on and tilt the Main Body (1) in place.
  5. Connect the Power Supply and Power Cord (10) to the plug-in connection (6) at the back and plug in the power supply.
  6. Press the button on the Display Panel (3) to switch on the purifier.

Handling
The Display Panel (3) has a button and four icons on it. These icons stand for the modes the OneLife X can be used in. By pushing the button, the purifier switches through the different modes from left to right. The LED lights above the icons show which mode is currently active. Pro-Idee OneLife
X Air Purifier - pushing In Automatic Mode the OneLife X automatically adjusts its fan speed to the current air quality. At night the device automatically runs at reduced fan speed.
In Night Mode the OneLife X runs at low fan speed to make sure it is whisper silent while you are asleep.
In Boost Mode the OneLife X runs at full fan speed.
The Filter LED lights up red if the Filter Unit (7) needs to be cleaned.

LED colors
The left LED above the push button indicates the current air quality by displaying a color based on our OneLife Air Quality Index. Our index gives a number between 1 and 100 that is calculated from several PM values.

green (1-20) good
yellow (21-40) moderate
orange (41-60) critical
red (61-80) bad
purple (81-100) hazardous

You can download our OneLife App by scanning the QR-Code below or searching for “OneLife” in the App Store on your iOS or Android device. Care Instructions

Washing the Filter Unit (7)

  1. Turn off the purifier and unplug it before cleaning.
  2. Tilt the Main Body (1) to the front.
  3. Remove the Top Grid (2).
  4. Pull out the Filter Unit (7) by using the handle.
  5. The Filter Unit (7) can be rinsed under water or be cleaned in the dishwasher.
  6. After cleaning it, the Filter Unit (7) has to dry for at least 24 hours.
  7. Before the Filter Unit (7) is placed back in the device, make sure that it is completely dry.
  8. Place the Top Grid (2) back on top of the Main Body (1) before switching on the device.
  9. Press and hold the button on the Display Panel (3) for 3 seconds to confirm the Filter Cleaning.Pro-Idee OneLife X Air Purifier - Washing the Filter

Cleaning the Fan Grid (8)

  1. Turn off the purifier and unplug it before cleaning.
  2. Remove the Textile Cover (4) at the backside of the device.
  3. Remove the Fan Grid Cover (5) by loosening the screw and remove the Fan Grid (8) by pulling the flap.
  4. Remove any dust or larger particles from the Fan Grid (8) using a vacuum cleaner or a dry towel. Do not use water to clean the Fan Grid (8).
  5. Put the Fan Grid (8) back into the device. Only turn the

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should be disposed of separately from household waste. The item should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.
