HOW SOLAR LIGHT WORKS

During the day, the solar panel converts solar power into the rechargeable battery. At night, the light turns on automatically by stored energy. How long the light last to illuminate depends on your geographical location, weather conditions and seasonal light availability.

CHOOSING AN IDEAL LOCATION

Choosing an outdoor location with full, direct sunshine where the Solar panel can receive at least 6 hours of sunshine time each day. Shady locations will influence the batteries to charge enough energy and shorten the working time of lighting in night. The selected location should not be near strong lighting sources such as street lights, which may cause light to turn off automatically because there is a sensor inside to feel brightness and control the light working.

ATTENTION FOR FIRST TIME USE

There is a switch on the bottom of the light. Please make sure turn on the bottom switch and keep it on all the time, so that the solar ground light will auto charging during the day and auto light up at night. When environment turns dark, solar light will light automatic. In day, solar light will turn off and store energy from solar panel automatic.
If light can not turn on automatically in night after 6 hours of charging at day, please check follow things:

1. To make sure the power switch is in the “ON” position.
2. To check the battery to ensure that they are making securely to contact with the terminals.
3. To be sure that light is in a sunny location and not in a shady area.
   The solar panel faces to the sun.

REPLACE BATTERIES

If the light stops working after it has been used for a long time (about over 12 months), maybe the battery is beyond its lifespan. You may open the cover of battery to change a new rechargeable battery.

PRECAUTIONS

1. To note that the light is designed to work when ambience turns to dark. If there’s no strong light sources nearby, the LED light may be very dim or not work at all.
2. Although the battery has been charged by the manufacturer, the electric level will have been probably dropped when you receive it. Please charge it for a full day to realize maximum performance.
3. Surface of the solar panel must keep clean. If it is dusty, it will influences efficiency of charging.
4. Install the lamp in a place where there is enough sunshine. The operating hours may vary due to occasional rainy days and cloudy days or the lighting is blocked by tree, house or so.
5. If the unit does not work due to over-discharge. Please charge it for a full day to make it work again.

REMARKS

1. Cleaning of solar panel: It is important that the solar panel is kept free of dirt, debris or even snow as this will not allow the battery to fully recharge and therefore not produce as much light. This could also shorten the life of the battery. Clean regularly with a dampened cloth or paper towel. Check the battery periodically throughout the year, especially after the winter period and replace if you need to.
2. Recycle the used battery or dispose of properly. Do not puncture, short circuit, or dispose of in fire.

GUARANTEE/WARRANTY

The warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase. This includes a 12-month guarantee from the date of purchase. This guarantee is valid for the whole of Europe. The purchase receipt is regarded as proof of purchase. The customer undertakes to read the instructions carefully before making a claim under the guarantee/warranty in order to rule out any operating errors.

The product has been thoroughly checked for quality and functionality before dispatch. Exclusion of the guarantee occurs in the following cases:
– in the event of changes to the product without our approval
– in the event of use other than for the intended purpose
– in the event of defects caused by improper maintenance and/or repair
– in the event of commercial use of the article
– in the event of damage caused by falling

When making a claim under the guarantee/warranty, please return the complete product including accessories in a packaging safe for transport to the point of sale from which the product was purchased. Describe the existing defect in the product and enclose the original proof of purchase with the shipment.

The seller reserves the right to subsequent performance before refunding the purchase price. Necessary transport costs will be reimbursed to the customer if a justified claim of the legal warranty/guarantee is established. The exercise of the statutory rights in respect of defects shall be free of charge. These rights are not limited by the guarantee.

Intended use

This device (solar floor lamp) is only intended for use as a lamp. Any other use or use that goes beyond this is deemed to be improper.
