  • Indicators: at the top right of the speech units there are three LEDs with the following meanings starting from top to bottom:

| • Green LED: on -> communication indicator on; blinking -> call in progress indicator (0.5 sec on, 0.5 sec off, cycle 1 s)

| • Red LED: on -> signalling Bus busy – blinking -> signalling lost communication

Note: S+/S- outputs. The entrance panel supplies a current peak IT > 1 A for 10 ms after which there follows a holding current IM = 200 mA for the entire duration of the lock command (see lock time).

  • Tele loop and control speech synthesis function. Modules 41002 and 41005 are ideal for people who are physically challenged, wear a hearing aid or are partially sighted. Enable the hearing aid, referring to its instruction manual.
    Note: any metal objects or electronic equipment nearby may compromise the quality of the sound received by the hearing aid.
    Control speech synthesis is enabled with Save Prog.

First power up

  • Configuration combined with push button module 41010

VIMAR 41002 Due Fili Plus - First Power Up

  1. Press and hold down button 1 for more than 5 seconds until you hear a continuous tone
  2. Release
  3. Enter the PIN code (default 1234)
  4. Press button 4; the LED on button 1 lights up permanently
  5. Press one button on each module 41010, in the desired order. Once a button of the last 41010 has been pressed, the procedure ends automatically.

  • The camera must be equipped with its own power supply unit with suitable characteristics. Check that the type of power supply unit and the connections do not cause any interference with the operation of the electronic unit. The video input of art. 41002 has an internal termination in AC at 75 Ω for CVBS signals of typically 1 Vpp. Should the camera also require a termination in DC to enable the transmission of the video signal, a resistor needs to be connected externally with a value that will not significantly alter the impedance in AC.

  • Power supply from Due Fili Plus Bus, via terminals B1 and B2: 28 VDC rated.
    Minimum voltage on terminals B1 and B2: 21VDC
    Local power via terminals E+, E- if the electronic unit needs to be powered via an additional power supply unit. The additional power supply unit should be installed if the system’s maximum consumption exceeds the power supply unit’s capacity.

The maximum current delivered to the additional electronic modules (back panel) is 500mA (maximum 8 additional modules). Refer to the additional modules for sizing the load on the back panel and on the bus.

• WEEE – Information for users. If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this means the product must not be included with other general waste at the end of its working life.
