BODY ASSEMBLY
Different types of superstructures and breathing protection glass can be
ordered for the electric bain maries. Attention: The counters are sold without
a superstructure by default in order to make them easier to transport. In this
case, the assembly is carried out by the customer. If the customer also
requests assembly, this must be indicated to the manufacturer. In this case,
the specialist representing the manufacturer will carry out the assembly at
the location for an additional fee.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY OF THE GLASS STRUCTURE
The glass must be slid into the glass holders (1) located below. The glass
must be screwed with the help of the “L” shaped side element (2) or the corner
element (3) into the holes placed in the column above. It is
important that the silicone rubber ring (4) in the assembly package is placed
at the junction of the glass and metal parts. The thermal expansion of glass
and metal is not the same, the 1 mm plastic ring serves to
balance of this factor. Without the plastic ring, there is an increased risk
of breakage of the fixed screws during use, the glass will break sooner or
later even with normal use, so make sure that the glass is
properly fixed!
STARTING THE BAIN MARI
Remove the protective folie of the device. Before first use, clean the device
thoroughly with a damp cloth and a neutral detergent. It is equipped with a
wire and plug, which can be used to connect to the 230V / 50Hz electrical
network. Make sure that the drain valve is closed. Fill the tank with water to
cover the bottom by at least 5 cm, then turn on the machine with the main
switch. The device is equipped with a heating wire built into the most modern
silicone sheet known today, but if there is no water in it, it will overheat
and, of course, it can burn out. Turn on the main switch and use the rotary
knob to set the thermostat to the desired temperature (between 30-90 C). After
that, the thermostat is no longer needed to turn it on and off, only the main
switch is used to turn it on and off.
DRAINING THE WATER
First, get a suitable container into which the water can be drained. Then open
the drain tap. The device connected to the mains can be filled directly with
the tank filling inlet, which is available as an option, and the water
draining can be simplified with the drain tap, which is connected to the
mains.
MAINTENANCE
All maintenance operations may only be carried out by trained personnel. In such cases, always switch off the machine and disconnect it from the electrical network. When switching off, turn off the main switch, then the power supply to the device will be cut off. The lighting works by turning on the main switch, in case the replacement is needed, it is important to disconnect the device first and then carry out the replacement of the lamp.
