Hypervolt 2Pro Percussion Massage Device
TO REDUCE RISKS OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, AND PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, THIS DEVICE MUST BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS, CAUTIONS, AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS – ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before using the Hypervolt 2 Pro.
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electric shock:
- Always unplug this device from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
- Do not reach for a device that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
- Do not use while bathing or in a shower.
- Do not place or store device where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:

A device should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use, and before putting on or taking off parts.

Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Use this device only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer. -
Never operate this device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it has gotten wet. Return the device to a service center for examination and repair.

Do not carry this device by supply cord or use cord as a handle.

Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

Never operate the device with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, or any substance which may impair the flow of air.

Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not operate where aerosol (spray) devices are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

Never operate on a soft surface such as a bed or couch where the air openings may be blocked.

Do not use device in close proximity to loose clothing or jewelry.

Keep long hair away from device while in use.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.

Do not remove screws or attempt to disassemble.

Do not operate continuously for more than one hour. After one hour use, allow device to rest for 30 minutes before re-using.

Unplug the device after charging and prior to use.

Use device only according to Operating Instructions.

When using the Hypervolt 2 Pro use only on dry, clean surfaces of the body by lightly pressing and moving across the body for approximately sixty(60) seconds per region. The Hypervolt 2 Pro should only be used on soft tissue areas of the body and should not be used on any hard or bony areas of the body, including the head. Please immediately stop use of the Hypervolt 2 Pro upon experiencing any pain or discomfort, apart from light muscle soreness. Bruising can occur from use of the Hypervolt 2 Pro, regardless of the pressure setting, and if bruising does occur you should not use the Hypervolt 2 Pro on the bruised area until the bruise is fully healed. Use of the Hypervolt 2 Pro should also be avoided on all bruises, contusions, rashes or irritated or injured areas of the skin until they are fully healed. When using the Hypervolt 2 Pro be sure to keep fingers, toes, hair, and other body parts away from the back of the attachment head to avoid pinching or hair entanglement.
The Hypervolt 2 Pro should only be charged with the double insulated, 18VDC
Hypericin charger (model number MX24Z2-1801000) that was supplied with the
device. Do not charge the Hypervolt 2 Pro overnight or leave the Hypervolt 2
Pro unattended when charging or in use.
Please do not use the Hypervolt 2 Pro, or any percussion device without first
obtaining approval from your physician if any of the following apply:
- Pregnancy, diabetes with complications such as neuropathy or retinal damage, wear of pacemakers, recent surgery or injury, epilepsy or migraines, herniated disks, spondylolisthesis, spondylolysis, or spondylosis, recent joint replacements or IUD, metal pins or plates or any concerns about your physical health. Frail individuals and children should be accompanied by an adult when using any percussion or vibration device. These contraindications do not mean that you are not able to use a percussion or vibration device but we advise that before doing so you consult your physician. Ongoing research is being done on the effects of percussion massage for specific medical disorders that may result in the shortening of the list of contraindications as shown above.
The Hypervolt 2 Pro contains a battery which must be complied with safely at
an appropriate e-waste disposal or recycling facility.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to
the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference
that may cause undesired operation.
Caution: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the
equipment.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television
reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
This device contains license-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply
with Innovation, Science and Economic
Development Canada’s license-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to the
following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause interference.
(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may
cause undesired operation of the device.
This equipment complies with IC RSS-102 radiation exposure limits set forth
for an unknot
CAUTION
The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if
mistreated. Do not disassemble, heat above 100º
C or incinerate. Dispose of used battery promptly. Keep away from children.
For household use only.
Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position
before picking up or carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance with your
finger on the switch or energizing appliance that have the switch on invites
accidents.
Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing appliance.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the appliance
accidentally.
Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
Use appliances only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any
other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can
make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid
contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts
eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may
cause irritation or burns.
Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified. Damaged or
modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire,
explosion or risk of injury.
Do not expose an appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire
or temperature above 130°C may cause explosion.
Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the appliance outside of
the temperature range specified in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may
damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is
maintained.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance except as indicated in the
instructions for use and care.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
The Hypervolt 2 Pro is a handheld percussion massage device that delivers
targeted pulses of pressure to care for muscles, relieve tension, provide a
relaxing massage, accelerate warmup and recovery, and help maintain
flexibility and range of motion.
OPERATING
Switch your Hypervolt 2 Pro to the ON position at the base of the handle. The LED band on the handle will illuminate indicating the battery level. Turn the digital speed dial clockwise to the desired speed setting indicated by the LED lights illuminating on the face of the control panel. Your Hypervolt 2 Pro is now ready for use. The lowest speed is at the nine o’clock position and the highest speed is at the twelve o’clock position. Turning the dial clockwise will increase the speed. To turn off the percussion, rotate the digital control dial counter clockwise until all five of the LEDs are turned off.
CONNECTING TO THE HYPERICE APP
To connect your device to the Hypericin App via Bluetooth® make sure that your device is turned on, Bluetooth® is turned on in your phone, and your device is within close proximity. Select a routine within the Hypericin App and if prompted tap “Scan for Devices.” Select your device when it pops up on the screen. Hypersmart™ will automatically start your device and adjust the speed and intensity as you follow along with the routine.
