SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before using the product, please read the following instructions carefully and keep them for future use. When transferring the product to a third party, it is advisable to include the instructions with the product.

  1. The device is not dustproof or waterproof. Store in a dry, cool and ventilated place. Do not expose to water or other sources of moisture.
  2. Do not install the inverter in a hot, humid environment. Leakage from the inverter may cause electric shock or fire.
  3. Charging and discharging lead-acid batteries produces flammable gases. Use of batteries should be done in a well-ventilated area. Do not place in areas where flammable gases may accumulate.
  4. Do not allow volatile substances or flammable materials to enter the device. Keep away from fire.
  5. For use by adults only.
  6. High output voltage causes danger of electric shock.
  7. Do not repair, disassemble, dismantle, or rebuild the inverter yourself.
  8. Do not cover the ventilation holes or bring metal objects close to them. Do not touch electrical parts with conductive materials.
  9. The inverter is a precision device. Do not drop it, hit it, crush it or subject it to any shock. Do not force the fuses.
  10. Do not damage the output sockets or wires. Do not cut, rearrange, bring near to high temperature sources, distort, invert, crush or pull wires.
  11. Do not use damaged, abraded cables. Use of damaged cable may cause electric shock, short circuit, or fire.
  12. To connect the inverter to the battery, use a standardized cable. If the cable is not standardized, is too long or the cross-sectional area of the wire is too small, it will generate high power loss and low voltage. The inverter may not work, and an error may occur. It is advisable to use the cables supplied with the inverter for use.
  13. Insert the plug fully into the electrical outlet. Do not use a damaged plug or a loose outlet.
  14. Frequent switching on and off, of the inverter may damage it.
  15. Inverters have not been tested for use in medical devices.
  16. Discard used equipment according to the guidelines in the manual.

Maintenance

  • Use a dry and soft cloth to clean the unit.
  • Do not clean with water.
  • A little neutral detergent on the cloth to remove stubborn dirt.
  • Do not use strong detergents such as thinner, benzine or alcohol as they may damage the protective coatings.

USAGE – TIPS

  1. When buying an inverter, consider the devices to be connected to it. All devices have a certain usable (constant) power and instantaneous (impulse) power – much higher, which occurs, for example, when starting the device. It is worth remembering that the power consumed by the device connected to the inverter should not exceed 80% of its rated power.
  2. To get the best results from use, place the inverter on a flat surface, such as the ground, floor or other solid surface on which the inverter’s power cable can be easily fixed. The work area should meet the following criteria:
    • A dry surface. Do not allow the inverter to come into contact with water or other liquids, keep the inverter away from all moisture.
    • Cool environment, the ambient temperature should be between 0°C- 40°C. Do not expose the inverter to direct sunlight.
    • Ventilation. Do not block any objects around it. Free air flow should be maintained. Do not place any objects on the inverter when it is running .
    • Safety. Do not use the inverter near combustible materials or flammable gases.
  3. Under no circumstances should the inverter be connected to non-original self-assembled batteries.
  4. The power source should be a fully charged lead-acid battery of good quality and capacity or a lithium battery with sufficient starting current (current output).

INSTALLATION

  1. Turn the power buton in ,,OFF”.
  2. Connect direct current input cable to the polarity of battery.
  3. Connect the other side of cable to the right slot in the inverter.
  4. Make sure the plugs of inventer and battery are connected in proper way.
  5. Please turn on the inverter. When LED light shows green, it means inverter is working fine. The correct connection of inverter shows following chart.

INSTALLATION NOTES

  1. Make sure that the load power increases gradually and does not exceed the rated power of the inverter.
  2. Do not reverse the negative and positive sides of the cable connecting the battery to the inverter.
  3. Use the cables sold with the inverter to connect the inverter to the battery.
  4. Make sure that all cables are firmly attached. The screw of the cable connecting the battery to the inverter must be tightened after it is attached. Improper connection may cause the cable to overheat and damage the spring terminal and shorten the power supply time of the inverter and battery.
  5. Do not touch the cable connection points after attaching them.
  6. Inverters should only be connected to a fully charged battery.
  7. The blue LED is lit when the inverter is operating normally. However, if the red LED is lit, the inverter is malfunctioning and automatically enters protection mode. The LCD display will show the fault code. Find and check the cause, in the table included in the manual.
  8. The voltage of the inverter and the battery must be the same, for example, a 12V inverter should be connected to a 12V battery, and a 24V inverter should be connected to a 24V battery. Make sure all appliances are turned off before powering these electrical devices.

INVERTER OPERATION AND BATTERY CAPACITY

  • Low battery capacity may cause the inverter to be unable to operate at full load.
  • This may cause damage to the battery.
  • The storage battery capacity depends on maximum discharge current: Maximum discharge current= rated power/ (storage voltage*0.85)
  • Storage battery capacity= maximum discharge current * discharging time

Example:

  • Inverter of rated power: 300W; input voltage: 12V
  • Maximum discharge current= 300/(12•0.85) = 29 A
  • For 2 hours of work, storage battery capacity is: 29A * 2h = 59Ah
  • The battery should have more than 59Ah.
  • Maximum discharge current for 500W = 49A
  • For 2 hours of work, storage battery capacity is: 98Ah
  • The battery should have more than 98Ah
  • Maximum discharge current for 1000W = 98A
  • For 2 hours of work, storage battery capacity is: 196Ah
  • The battery should have more than 196Ah
