01466.1
01466.1 Smart Automation By-Me Plus
Actuator with 4 proportional analogue outputs 0-20 mA or 0-10 V with re-
scalable maximum output voltage or current, power supply 120-230 V~ 50/60 Hz,
By-me home automation, installation on DIN rails (60715 TH35), occupies 4
modules size 17.5 mm. Combined with By-me temperature sensors and thermostats
allows you to make a modulating room thermostat in class V (3% contribution).
Combined with relay actuators, it can also control lamps piloted by drivers
with control voltage 0-10 V.
Acting as a proportional actuator, the device can control/adjust the degree of
opening of motorised proportional valves accepting variable control signals
for voltage (e.g. 0-10 V) or current (e.g. 0-20 mA) and can control drivers to
control lamps accepting voltage signals 0-10 V. It can control up to 4 loads.
Maximum distance between actuator and lighting driver/valve: 50 m. Remember
always to check the load requirements (not Vimar) used since the manufacturer
may indicate specific requirements necessary for the correct operation of the
device (for instance, but not limited to, some manufacturers indicate that
only one device should be connected per actuator, regardless of the number of
outputs the latter has).

ErP Classification (EU Reg. 811/2013): art. 01466.1 combined with By-me temperature sensors and thermostats allows you to make a modulating room thermostat in class V (3% contribution).
-
Device 01466.1 should be configured with the Automation Gateway 01410-01411 and App View Pro.
-
Not compatible with By-me control panels 21509 and EasyTool Professional.
CONTROLLABLE LOADS.
Each of the four outputs enables controlling:
- a minimum load of 1000 Ω when the output OUT is set to voltage.
- a maximum load of 500 Ω when the output OUT is set to current.
OPERATION.
-
Possible functions:
– Controlling motorized proportional valves for temperature control systems.
– Dimmer control/lighting driver control.
– Use as a generic actuator that can be controlled by a button or By-me touchscreen.
WARNING: The outputs must all manage the same type of application (heat control or lighting) and not a combination thereof. -
Settable parameters independently for each output:
– Controlling output voltage with custom range (minimum, maximum)
– Controlling output current with custom range (minimum, maximum)
– Inverted control -
Alarm for overload by switching off the output and flashing the related LED (only with control on voltage).
For a detailed description of all the parameters, see the By-me Plus system manual.
CONFIGURATION.
For the configuration operations, see the By-me Plus system instruction manual.
- Functional units: 4 (one for each actuator).
- One of the following behaviours can be selected for each functional unit:
– Proportional actuator
– Proportional actuator with timed functions
– Proportional actuator for climate control operation
– Extension function (to control the output according to the value read by the input of art. 01467)
INSTALLATION RULES.
- Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with the current regulations regarding the installation of electrical equipment in the country where the products are installed.
- The controllable loads must be class III and must have the ****symbol.
- The power supply to the controllable loads must be insulated from the power supply network by double insulation or reinforced insulation.
- Follow any installation instructions for the devices controlled.
- Provide the separation of the BUS cable from the power lines (wiring in separate channels).
- This device is compliant with the reference standard, in terms of electrical safety, when it is installed in the relevant consumer unit.
- If this device is used for purposes not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided may be jeopardized.
- Observe the maximum current and voltage values given for the device.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE.
LV directive. EMC directive. Standards EN 60669-2-5, EN 50491.
REACH (EU) Regulation no. 1907/2006 – Art.33. The product may contain traces
of lead.
WEEE – User information
If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this
means the product must not be included with other general waste at the end of
its working life. The user must take the worn product to a sorted waste
center, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new one. Products for
disposal can be consigned free of charge (without any new purchase obligation)
to retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m2 , if they measure less than
25 cm. An efficient sorted waste collection for the environmentally friendly
disposal of the used device, or its subsequent recycling, helps avoid the
potential negative effects on the environment and people’s health, and
encourages the re-use and/or recycling of the construction materials.
FRONT VIEW AND TERMINALS

analogue outputs 0-20 mA or 0-10 V
B. Power supply 120-230 V~
C. TP bus
D. Output LEDs OUT 1, 2, 3, 4
E. Configuration button and LED
CONNECTIONS
4 motorized proportional valvesA: External power supply unit
B: Power supply 120-230 V~
C: TP bus
CAUTION: The 01466.1 actuator outputs are not isolated from each other,
the terminals – of the 4 outputs are internally connected to each other, so
the connected valves must have the same signal reference.
Size the power supply unit correctly according to the available valves (e.g.
art.16887 24VA 230V 24V for 4 valves of approximately 6VA).
Maximum distance between actuator and valve: 50 m. Use a twisted cable with a
minimum cross-section of 0.5 mm2 (art. 01840.E).
