Introduction

  • Use this tool exclusively for its determined use.
    Mounting and assembly of connecting material with the help of this tool must only be performed by specially trained personnel.

  • This instruction manual must be carried along during the entire life span of that tool.

  • The operator must guaranty the availability of the instruction manual for the user and -make sure, that the user has read and understood the instruction manual.

Labels

On the labels fixed on the housing of the tool, you will find the model number, technical specifications and the company logo.

Warranty

If correct operation is guaranteed and regular service is provided our warranty is 1 year from the time of delivery.

Application range
Hydraulic cutting tool HC-50 can cut copper, aluminum and conductors, up to a maximum diameter of 50mm.

Attention

Wear eye protection when using the tool to cut the conductors.

  Attention

 Do not cut the live cables or conductors.

Operation guide
  1. Turn the screw by 180° while the pump lever is pushed to toward the handle.
  2. Activate the pump lever to start the cutting process.
  3. First the cutting head has to be opened by pulling the lock pin out of the cutting head
  4. Then the cable /conductor must be positioned in the cutting head which must be closed there after. Keep the cutting head in vertical direction till the cut is completed.
  5. After the cutting completed, actuate the retract lever to release the piston the the start position and a new cutting circle can be activated then.
  6. Before storing the tool, the turn screw has to be turned 180° until the lock is activated.

Maintenance instruction

The hydraulic cutting unit has to be cleaned after use and lubricated regularly, especially for the blade;check out the damage and oil leak.

Storage and transport
In order to protect the tool against damages it has to be carefully cleaned after every use and be put into the transportation case and close it safely.

Reference as to which spare parts can be exchanged by the user
The customers are not allowed to exchanged the spare parts within the warranty, eg Screw and others.

Troubleshooting

The tool loses oil=>Return the tool to the manufacturer or authorized distributor. Do not open the tool and damage the seal of the tool.

Putting out of the operation and/Waste of disposal

The disposal of the various components of the tool have to be treated separately.The first step is to dispose the oil at special delivery points .

  Attention Hydraulic oils represent a danger to the ground water, Uncontrolled draining of or improper dispose of the oil is under penalty. (Environment Liability Law)

The remaining parts of the unit must be disposed according to domestic environmental standards.

Because of the possible environmental damages we recommend to dispose of the tool by professional companies, a return of the old tool free of charge to the manufacture cannot be granted
