Product Information

The EnvirascapeTM Glass Luminary with Aroma is a fragrant glass luminary that creates a soothing ambiance while emitting a subtle fragrance. It comes with a glass topper, a base, and 100% essential oil aroma mixes. The aroma mixes included are Crisp Linen, Vanilla Cookie, and Relaxing Lavender. The product requires 3-AA batteries (not included) for operation.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Unpack the product carefully from the package. Keep the packaging material for safe storage.
  2. Open the Battery Compartment located on the bottom of the Base.
  3. Insert 3-AA batteries, ensuring that the +/- polarity follows the direction of the instructions inside the compartment.
  4. Place the Dome (light inside) on top of the Base for added stability (optional).
  5. Position the Base on a level and waterproof surface.
  6. Place the Glass Body over the Base with the open side facing downwards.
  7. If desired, add additional decorative beads or potpourri.
  8. Turn on the Luminary using the On/Off/Auto Switch located on the Base.
  9. The LED light inside the Dome will illuminate, creating a soothing ambiance.

Maintenance

  • Handle the Glass Body with care as it is fragile and should not be bumped with other items.
  • The Aroma Mix beads should retain their subtle fragrance for approximately one month. Once the scent is no longer detected, discard the Aroma Mix into trash and replace it with a new packet of Aroma Mix beads.
  • The Glass Luminary can be used with any Aroma Mix Beads, potpourri, or scented crystals.

Caution: All servicing of this product must be performed by authorized HoMedics Service Personnel only.

Troubleshooting

If the LED light doesn’t light up, check the following:

  1. Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  2. If the Auto switch is selected, the LED will only work if the room is dark.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

Item includes:

  • A. Glass Topper
  • B. Base
  • C. 100% Essential Oil Aroma Mixes: (2) Crisp Linen, (2) Vanilla Cookie, (2) Relaxing Lavender
  1. Unpack the product from package carefully. Keep packaging material for safe storage.
  2. Open the Battery Compartment located on the bottom of the Base.
  3. Insert 3-AA batteries checking that the +/- polarity follows the direction of the instructions inside the  Battery Compartment.
    • Do not mix old and new batteries.
    • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.
    • Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
    • Remove used batteries promptly.
    • If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage due to possible  battery leakage.
    • Batteries may pose a choking hazard. Do not let children handle.
    • Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
    • Be sure batteries are installed properly, following the polarity indicated.
    • Batteries are a hazardous waste. Recycle or dispose of batteries per local regulations.
  4. Close Battery Compartment cover. Be sure door clicks shut. Use additional screw for added security (optional).
  5. Put the Switch in the intended position. There are three options on the switch (located on the bottom of the Base: ON, OFF or AUTO: Light Sensor (located on the side of Base) controls LED light. When the room is dark, the LED  light will be activated, when the room is bright, LED light will turn off.
  6. Place the Base on a level, waterproof surface.
  7. Place the Glass Topper on the base, open side down.
  8. Carefully add Aroma Mix onto indented top of Glass Topper, do not let Aroma Mix spilled over the indented top.
  9. Arrange the additional decorative beads as you prefer.
    Note:  If you want to change the switch option, remove the Glass Topper from the base first and place carefully on  a flat surface.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Glass is fragile, do not bump with other items, handle with care
  2. Aroma Mix should keep it’s subtle fragrance for approximately one month. Once scent is no longer detected,  discard Aroma Mix into trash and replace with new packet of Aroma Mix beads.
  3. Glass Luminary can be used with any Aroma Mix Beads, potpourri or scented crystals.

LIMITED 90 DAY WARRANTY

  • HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the  date of original purchase, except as noted below. HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship  under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers. To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, mail the product and your dated sales receipt (as proof of purchase), postpaid, to  the following address: HoMedics Service Center, Dept. 168, Suite 3, 43155 West Nine Mile Rd., Novi, MI 48375. No COD’s will be accepted. HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a  Retailer or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage  caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation;  unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of  an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or  environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other  conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
  • This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that  requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured,  approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty.
  • THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER  WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER  OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. HOMEDICS SHALL  HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY  REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE  WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR DEFECTIVE  MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, HOMEDICS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS IN LIEU OF REPAIR OR  REPLACEMENT.
  • This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged and/or resealed products, including but not limited  to sale of such products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such products by surplus or bulk resellers. Any and all warranties or  guarantees shall immediately cease and terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified,  without the prior express and written consent of HoMedics. This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have additional  rights which may vary from state to state. Because of individual state regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not  apply to you.
