FRICOSMOS 042802 Anisakis Detector
Product Information
The device described in this user manual is a parasite detection system designed to detect the presence of anisakis, a parasite that can be found in the intestine of some fishes. Product Usage Instructions

- Place the skinless fish on the surface of the light bulb area of the device.
- If the fish is infected with anisakis, you will easily see it thanks to the transillumination. Anisakis is a small worm about 2cm long.
Disposal Instructions
Do not dispose of this product as unsorted waste at your municipality. The disposal must be collected separately for special treatment. This product must not be disposed of with household waste. It must be disposed of in an authorized place specially designated for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions
Clean the equipment regularly using a damp cloth. Do not use wet cloth with soap. Avoid using acids or harsh detergents, and do not scrub with scouring pads, spatulas, knives, or sharp objects.
Bulb Replacement Instructions
- Unplug the device from the power supply.
- Remove the screws that secure the transparent casing.
- Detach the transparent casing from the main body.
- Change the bulb.
- Screw the transparent casing back onto the main body.
