Caution:
When using the fan with your computer, it is recommended to keep your computer connected to an external power source. Running the fan solely on battery power may drain the computer’s battery.

How It Works:

  1. Insert the barrel plug of the USB cable into the connector located on the rear surface of the fan. Alternatively, install 4 AA batteries (not included).
  2. If using the USB option, insert the USB plug into the USB port of your computer or other USB-based charging devices (adapter not included).
  3. To operate the fan, locate the power button on the front of the unit. Press the button to turn the fan on and press it again to turn it off.
  4. If using USB power, you can also use a standard USB Electrical Power Adapter (120V AC to USB power adapter, not included) plugged into an electrical outlet.

Cleaning and Storage:
Clean the fan as instructed in the manual and store it in a  cool, dry place.

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Use this fan only as described in this manual. Other use not recommended may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

  3. Unplug the USB plug from your computer when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, and before cleaning.
  4. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
  5. Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.
  6. Do not use this fan near water, immerse in water, or expose to rain.
  7. Avoid contact with moving fan parts.
  8. The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may be hazardous.
  9. Do not operate if the fan housing is removed or damaged.
  10. Do not store fan with batteries in place.

Caution: When running this fan from your computer, it is best to keep your computer connected to an outside power source. Running the fan on the computer’s battery power only may drain the battery

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

  • Remove battery cover from the back of the fan by pressing down and pulling out on tab located on the battery door.
  • This fan uses 4 AA batteries and should be installed according to the polarity diagram.
  • When fan is plugged in via USB or your own electrical adapter, fan batteries will not be drained.
  • Always use new batteries in your fan, do not mix old and new batteries.

For improved unit performance please use lithium batteries.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Insert barrel plug  of USB cable into connector located on rear surface of the fan or install 4 AA batteries
    (not included).

  2. If choosing the USB option, insert USB plug into the USB port of your computer or other USB-based charging devices.

  3. To operate your fan, locate the power button on the front of the unit. Press the button to turn the fan on, press it again to turn the fan off.

  4. If choosing USB power, this fan can be used with a standard USB Electrical Power Adapter (120V AC to USB power adapter, not included) that can be plugged into an electrical outlet.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  • Be sure your fan is off.
  • Unplug the fan before cleaning.
  • This fan does not disassemble.
  • Use only a soft cloth to gently wipe the fan clean.
  • DO NOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into the motor housing.
  • DO NOT use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan.
  • For storage, remove the batteries, clean the fan carefully as instructed and store your fan in a cool dry place.

1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

You should first read all instructions before attempting to use this product.

A. This 1 year limited warranty applies to repair or replacement of product found to be defective in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from commercial, abusive, unreasonable use or supplemental damage. Defects that are the result of normal wear and tear will not be considered manufacturing defects under this warranty.

IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE.  ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also may have other rights which vary  from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product from the original date of purchase.

B. At its option, Kaz USA, Inc. will repair or replace this product if it is found to be defective in material or workmanship.

C. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from any unauthorized attempts to repair or from any use not in accordance with the instruction manual.

D. Return defective product to Kaz USA, Inc. with a brief description of the problem. Include proof of purchase and a $10 US/$15.50 CAN check or money order for handling, return packing and shipping charges.  Please include your name, address and a daytime phone number. You must prepay shipping charges.
