Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the heater, read all the instructions provided in the user manual.
  2. Ensure that the heater is placed on a flat and stable surface.
  3. Plug the heater power cord directly into a standard grounded 110-120 volt AC outlet. Make sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet, as a loose fit can cause overheating and damage to the plug.
  4. Rotate the heat selection knob to choose the desired wattage setting: LOW (600W), MED (900W), or HIGH (1500W).
  5. To start heating, rotate the thermostat knob clockwise until it stops. At the LOW setting, the fan will not operate. At MED and HIGH settings, the fan should start blowing warm air.
  6. If you want to conserve energy, you can operate the heater at a lower wattage by setting the heat selection knob to LOW or MED.
  7. When you no longer need the heater, rotate the control knob to the OFF position, unplug the heater from the outlet, and move it to a safe place for storage.
  8. Do not block the air intakes or exhaust of the heater to prevent a possible fire. Avoid using the heater on soft surfaces like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

TO OPERATE

  1. Plug the heater power cord directly into a standard grounded 110-120 volt AC outlet Always operate the heater in the upright position with the rubber feet on the floor.
    CAUTION: Be sure plug fits tightly into outlet A loose fit will cause overheating and damage to the plug Plug may feel warm during normal usage.

  2. Rotate heat selection knob to “LOW” (600W), “MED” (900W) or-HIGH” (1500W) setting.

  3. Rotate the -THERMOSTAT knob cicickwise (right) until the knob stops. The heater should begin heating. At “LOW’ (600W) the fan will not operate At “MED” (900W) and “HIGH” (1500W) settings, the fan should start to blow warm air,

  4. A I I6w the heater to operate until the room temperature reaches the desired level, then slowly rotate the “THERMOSTAT” knob counter-clockwise (left) until the heater cycles off. At this setting, the heater will cycle on and off automatically to maintain this comfort level,
    NOTE: Do not force knob beyond its normal stop position.. It may be necessary to make minor adjustments to the thermostat to maintain the desired comfort level. Clockwise movement will increase the room temperature. Counterclockwise movement will decrease room temperature..

  5. T o conserve energy, the heater may be operated at a tower wattage by placing the heat selection knob at the “LOW” (600W) or “MED- (900W) settings.

  6. W h e n heater is not needed, rotate -Control knob to the “OFF” position, remove the plug from the outlet, and move heater to safe place for storage

CLEANING & CARE

Your heater is designed for trouble-free operation with little maintenance. However, routine cleaning is recommended as follows:

  1. Before attempting to clean heater, turn heater to “OFF” position and remove plug from outlet
  2. Using a dry cloth, wipe dust and dirt from inside heater cabinet or a vacuum cleaner crevice tool may be used Do not use waxes as they may discolor
  3. When heater is not to be used for an extended time, turn to “OFF” position, unplug from outlet and place heater in safe place, such as a box, to prevent possible damage

TO RESET OVER-TEMPERATURE CONTROL.

  • This heater is equipped with a built-in over-temperature safety switch that will cycle the heater off if the heater overheats
  • After heater is allowed to cool and the condition that caused the overheating is corrected, using a small straight object, such as a pencil, push in button located inside small hole on side of heater marked reset

Limited Warranty

  • Products manufactured by TPI Corporation are warranted to the original consumer to be free from defects in material and workmanship for twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase. The TN warranty does not cover products modified outside our factory, damage or failure caused by acts of God, abuse, misuse, connected to or placed on other than rated voltage, abnormal usage, faulty installation, failure to follow suggested maintenance procedures enclosed with the product, improper maintenance or any repairs other than those provided by an authorized FPI Corporation service center
  • There are no obligations or liabilities on the part of the corporation for consequential damages arising out of; or in connection with, the use or performance of the product, or other indirect damages with respect to loss of property, revenues, or profit, or costs of removal, installation or reinstallation, All implied warranties with respect to TPI products, including implied warranties for merchantability and implied warranties for fitness, are limited in duration to twelve (12) months from original date of purchase, except those products or parts of products which are warranted for longer periods.. On such products or parts of products all implied warranties for merchantability and fitness are limited to the duration of the extended warranty period thereon..
  • Some states do no allow the exclusion or’ limitation of incidental or consequential damages and some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. The above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you.
  • During the warranty period, TPI Corporation will, at its sole option, repair or’ replace any defective parts or products returned, freight prepaid, to the TPI Corporation factory or’ such other location as TPI Corporation may designate.
  • Returned products must be packaged carefully and ‘TPI Corporation shall not be responsible for damage in transit, When returning parts, the owner must provide the model number of the product and nature of difficulty being experienced This warranty does not obligate TPI Corporation to bear the cost of labor in replacing any assembly, unit or component part thereof; nor does the company assume any liability for secondary charges, expenses for installing or removal, freight or damages.
