Product Information

The Tuffman Pressure Meter TPI 635 / 645 / 655 is a high-resolution instrument that provides accurate pressure readings in seven different units of measure, including kPa, PSI, inHg, mmHg, inH20, mH20, and mbar. It features an auto- ranging function that provides high resolution and accuracy at low pressures where it is needed. The instrument is equipped with a smoothing functionto stabilize rapidly changing readings, and a MAX/MIN function that enables the user to recall and display both the maximum and minimum pressure recorded since the function was selected. The Tuffman Pressure Meter also features a HOLD function that maintains the reading on the LCD display, and a ZERO function that immediately zero’s the instrument for speed and accuracy. The unit also has an auto power off feature that powers off after 30 minutes to conserve battery life.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Turn on the Tuffman Pressure Meter by pressing the ON button.
  2. Select the desired unit of measure using the UNITS button.
  3. For accurate readings, press the ZERO button to zero the instrument before use.
  4. To stabilize rapidly changing readings, use the smoothing function by pressing the SMOOTH button.
  5. To recall and display both the maximum and minimum pressure recorded since the function was selected, press the MAX/MIN button once to activate, twice to read minimum, and three times to read maximum. To cancel the function, press and hold the MAX/MIN button.
  6. To freeze the display reading, use the HOLD function by pressing the HOLD button.
  7. After use, turn off the Tuffman Pressure Meter by pressing the OFF button.
  8. For long term testing of pressure systems for leaks, use the RECORD MAX/MIN function.
