Thank you for purchasing this light fitting. Please read the instructions carefully before use to ensure safe and satisfactory operation of this product. Please retain these instructions for future reference.
Warning
- All fittings must be installed by a competent person in accordance with local regulations (IET wiring regulation BS7671).
- Check the pack and make sure you have all of the parts listed. Remove all packaging, wrap etc from the product. Decide on the appropriate location for your product.
- This product is colour changing and can be either warm white(3000K) or cool white(5000K). Choose your preferred colour before installing by flicking the switch on back of the product.
- To prevent electrocution switch off at mains supply before installing or maintaining this fitting. Ensure other persons cannot restore the electrical supply without your knowledge. If you are in any doubt, please consult a qualified electrician.
- IMPORTANT: The fixing point(s) selected must be capable of supporting the full weight of the light fitting.
- It is always recommended to cut the hole slightly smaller than the size specified, and then file the hole until the recessed unit fits snugly.
- Wiring diagram is for reference only. Always refer to the terminal marking for wiring. Ensure that all electrical connections are tight and that no loose strands are left out of the terminal block.
- Never use the terminal cables to bear the product weight.
- Ensure the ceiling surface is flat and smooth to ensure a good seal.
- The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.
- These products are suitable for use in 30, 60 or 90 minute fire rated ceilings.
- The minimum ceiling void depth is 75mm. When more than one downlight is installed, the minimum distance between units is 300mm. The minimum distance between a unit and the wall is 120mm.

Bathroom Installation
The IP rating of the front of product is IP65 and the rest of product (switch
on back of product & driver) is IP20. Always refer to the reference drawing
and IP rating of surround for bathroom (Fig.1).
This product is suitable for bathroom hazard zones as specified by the
following water drop image.
Warning: this drawing is for reference only. Consult a professional
electrician to install according to relevant national wiring rules. If being
fitted in a bathroom a 30mA RCD must be used.
