Quick Guide

Charge the Player

  1. By USB cable.The USB cable can both be used far data transfer and charging the player.
  2. Use 5V /500mA charger(Charger not included)
    Please note: The specifications of the charger must meet the following requirements or any accident or failure happened will be regarded as man-made damage.

Basic Operation

  1. Power On/Off. Standby status: hold the play button far 3 seconds to power on/off.
  2. Screen Lock/unlock. Press and hold the button M to lock or unlock the screen.

Home Menu
Each time you press the button 1<11◄ /►, it will bring you to one of its 9 different functions, including Music, FM radio, Folder, Bluetooth, Record, Setting, Tools, Ebook and Pictures.

Music

Find ”Music’1 on home menu and press the button ►11 to access to its function. A related list will show:

  • All songs. All the music files in local folder or card folder.
  • Resume (Now playing). Take you back lo the song or audio file you are playing last time or playing now.
  • Playlist. There are 3 default playlists on the player: Playlist on the go [1 ]/[2]/[3].
  • Update playlists. Update music files.
  • Local folder/Card folder. View music file in the local folder or card folder.

Note: These functions are only available when memory card inserted. Play the music

While it’s on music playing interlace, hold down the button ►►I to last forward, press to skip to next track; hold down the button I◄◄ lo fast rewind, press to play the previous track. Press button ►11 to play/pause. Press button ►►I to increase the volume, press button I◄◄ lo lower the volume. Press and hold the “VOL’ button to wake up volume function. Sub-menu When it is on music playing interface, hold down button M to access lo the Sub-menu, a related list will show:

  1. Home. Press the button ►11 to return the home menu.
  2. Play mode.

“Play music from … “. Choose to play from all songs/this artist/album/genre.

  1. Repeat. Press the button, you will see a related list :Repeat Off/repeat 1 /repeat all.
  2. Shuffle. Click the button ►11 to turn on the shuffle mode.
  3. “Language learning” (only available when the music is playing)
  4. Choose the option “Repeat mode” with button ►11 to confirm the starting time A( A is flashing).
  5. Then click button ►►I again to set the ending time B(B is flashing). Click button l►I again and the passage from time A lo B will be repeated automatically. The icon for A-B indication will appear on the screen.
  6. Click button ►►I again to back to normal playback.
  7. Sound settings. Choose lo set Equalizer, Speed and Volume limit.
  8. Delete. Choose to delete the song that is playing now.
  9. Bookmarks. Choose lo add bookmark, for the song that is playing now. And you can also choose to go to bookmark or delete bookmark for checking bookmark list or delete the bookmark which you want to delete.
  10. Add to playlist.
  11. Remove from playlist.

FM Radio

Select “FM Radio” on main menu, click button ►11 lo access lo its function. A related list will show including 11Station list”, 11Manual tune11 , ‘Auto tune” and “FM recording” . Click button M/VOL to select. Press the button I?? to go back.
While on radio playing interlace, press the button M to go to its Sub-menu.

  1. Choose “Start FM radio recording” lo save the radio you Want to record, find the saved recordings in the ‘FM recording”.
  2. “Tuner Region” . Choose from Common/Japan/European Band.
  3. “FM Recording”. All saved recordings will be listed here.
  4. Radio Background: Choose to open or close
  5. Save to Presets
  6. Clear Presets
  7. Automatic Tuning: Automatically search for radio stations

Note: You con only listen to mono rodio station on this player.

Folder
Find “Folder” on Home menu with the button ►1 I to access to its function. All of the files in the player will be listed. If the Micro SD cord is inserted, you can choose to go to Local folder or Cord folder.

Bluetooth
Find”Bluetooth”on Home menu and press the button ►11 to enter, and it will automatically search and display the Bluetooth-enobled devices(Bluetooth headphones/speakers).
You can choose and press button ►11 to connect/cancel the pairing, or press the button to go to the menu list, including:

  • Bluetooth on/off. Choose to enable or disable Bluetooth.
  • Search for device. When the Bluetooth is enabled, choose “Search Device” to search the nearby Bluetooth devices manually, then all of the detected Bluetooth devices will be listed.
  • Device list. Select the device you want lo connect/disconnect, and then press button ►1 I lo confirm. After successfully connected, this player is ready lo play music or FM radio by Bluelooth headphones, Bluetooth speaker, etc.

Note: When listen to radio by Bluetooth, wired headphones are needed as radio antenna.

Record
Select 11 Record11 on Home menu, click button ►II to access to its function, then a related list will show as 11Start Voice Recording11 , 11Recordings library” , “Storage”(only available with card inserted), “Record format” and 11
Record bitrate11• New features: Recording Source: the recording source can choose microphone and line-in. Note: line-in has 2 functions.

Playback Function: when the machine plays, connect MP3 and speakers with LINE IN line to play music.

Recording Function: turn on the recording Line in function, connect two MP3s with LINE IN line or connect other devices with output function (such as mobile phones) with MP3 to record audio files.

Settings

Find “Settings” on Home menu with the button ►11 to access to its function. A related list will show as follow:

  • Language: Choose display language.

  • Display settings: Set the Brightness, Backlight timer and Screen saver of your player.
    Power off: Choose “Shut down Power off” to turn off this function or set the Power off between 1-99(minutes)
    Sleep timer: When there is no operation on the device, the device will shut off automatically when reaches the set time.

  • Date and time: Click button ?I lo switch. Click button MNOL lo set. Click button ►I I to save your settings.

  • Format device/Factory settings: Format the device/SD card or restore the player to factory default settings.
    Note: Before formatting the device, please backup the file so as not to lose any files.

  • Information: Check player information and disk space about your player.

Tools
Select “Tools” on home menu, click button ►11 to access ta its function. A ,,1Stopwatch’1 and related list will show 11PedometerU, 11Videon “Calendar’ “Alarm”.

  1. Calendar
    Press the button ►►I to switch among year I month I day, press the button MNOL to choose specific year I month I day.

  2. Stopwatch
    Press the button ►11 to enter. Press again to start the timer, and then press again to stop or hold down button ►11 to resume. Press the button MNOL to start a new one. The maximum Stopwatch list is 4.

  5. Press button ►11 to access to its function. You will need to choose from local folder or card folder if the memory card is inserted.

  6. Press button ►1 I to watch videos, Press the button l◄◄/►►I to go to previous/next video or hold the button to fast backward/forward.

  7. When it’s on video playing interlace, hold down the button M to access to its submenu, including: Brightness, Repeat, Delete video, Update card data. Set according to your preference.

    Press the button ►11 to access to its function. There is a related list will show:

  9. Start step
    Choose to start the step, it will display your Elapsed time and Step counts
    Press the button ►1 I to stop and then press the button VOL to save your step.

  10. Personal info
    Set your height and weight.you can adjust your height and weight by press the button MNOL.
    Set your step length between 1 ~250cm with the button ►11 to confirm.

  11. History
    All your saved step record will be listed here, you can save up to 7 records. If the history record is full, it will cover the previous one.

  12. Clear history
    You can choose to clear one of 7 history records you want or clear all history records.

Ebook
Find “Ebook” on Home menu with the button ►11 to access to its function.

  • While it’s on text playing interlace, press button I◄◄ / ►►I to turn the pages. Press the button ►11 to play automatically, press ►11 again to stop.
  • Submenu. While it’s on text playing interface, hold down button ►►I lo enter its submenu and set your preference, including Playsetting Brightness, Page color, Delete ebook, Bookmark select, Delete bookmark, Add bookmark, Select page, Local folder and Card folder (Only available when TF card inserted).

Pictures
Find “Pictures” on the Home menu, click button ►11 to access to its function.
Click ►11 ta view pictures, click I◄◄ / ►►I ta go ta previous/next picture. When it’s on picture viewing interface, press the button M to access to its submenu, including Brightness, Backlight timer, Slideshow settings, Delete picture, Update playlist. You can set it according to your preference.

Trouble Shooting

  • Haw to re-choose the language?
    Find this icon @ in the main interface, and click button ►11 to access to its menu, scroll down to the last menu(the menu at the button is “Factory settings” in English). Click button ►11 to enter and choose the first(upper) option which means “Yes”. Click button ►11 again to confirm and restore to factory settings. The player will power on automatically and then you can choose language again.

  • Can’t turn on the player; the screen of player goes blank/black; the player is crashed or has a firmware bug.

  • Disk error.
    If the screen says “Disk error”, please format the player. Find it in”settings”>”Format device”.

  • Songs can’t be recognized by the player.
    Please check if the song is in a wrong format or has been encrypted, or the song format is not supported by this player. Find the supported audio format below:

MP3:
Bit rate: 8Kbps~320Kbps, Sampling rate:8MHz~48MHz;

WMA:
Bit rate:5Kbps~384Kbps, Sampling rate:BMHz~48MHz;

APE:
Bit rate:B00Kbps~ l 000Kbps(FAST normal compressed), Sampling rate:8MHz~48MHz;

WAY:
Bit rate:32Kbps~384Kbps, Sampling rate:BMHz~48MHz;

FLAC:
Bit rate: l 000Kbps~ l 200Kbps(L0~LB), Sampling rate:BMHz~48MHz.

  • e: The memory card is not recognized by the music player; can’t insert the memory card into the music player.
  • A1: The music player only supports memory cards in “FAT 32” format. You can check whether the memory card is in “FAT 32” format on the computer.
  • A2: You can buy genuine Kingston or SanDisk TF cards.
  • A3: Some music players have deep card slots, and you may use a fingernail or a hard gadget to assist in inserting the memory card.
  • f: How to play the music of the music player on car audio?
  • A1: It’s recommended to use a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to transmit audio.
  • A2: The USB cable that comes with the music player only has the function of charging and transmission, without audio function.
  • A3: It’s not recommended to connect the car audio via Bluetooth, there will be an incompatibility.
  • g: Song files and audiobook files messed up.
  • A: When naming, it’s recommended to rename songs in numerical or alphabetical order, for example, for 1000 songs, name them “0001+Song Name to 0999+Song Name”.
  • h: The music player can not search for Bluetooth devices or can search for Bluetooth devices but keeps showing connection failure.
  • A 1: It is necessary to check if the Bluetooth function of music player and Bluetooth devices is turned on. If so, please search for pairing.
  • A2: Check if the Bluetooth device is in pairing state, if so, please disconnect it first, and then research for pairing.
  • A3: Check if the music player has been connected to multiple devices before. If so, you can delete them all, and then reconnect.
  • A4: Check if the Bluetooth version of the Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth speaker is above 2.1. Sometimes if you can’t find it, it may be because of incompatibility.

i: Frequent disconnection and reconnection after successful Bluetooth connection.

  • A 1: First of all, please confirm the use environment of the music player. If it is used in close proximity to other 2.4G signal sources or under obstacles, such as indoor wall penetration, signal base stations, routers, high-speed rail, subway, etc., it will be interfered by the signal and thus cause disconnection, and you can try it in an open place.
  • A2: If the direct distance between the music player and Bluetooth device exceeds 8-1 Om, or the distance from the back to the obstacle exceeds 4-5m, the connection will be disconnected. Please use the Bluetooth function within the Bluetooth range of the product.

Notes On Battery Charging

  1. Please use the PC USB port or a 5V/1 A power adapter to charge the device.
    Note:
    A. When using the PC USB port to charge, the current output capability of the USB port of different PCs is different and the charging time will be slightly different. It is recommended that when using the PC USB port to charge, try to power off the device to speed up the charging.
    B. The charger and the MP3 player will heat up to a certain extent during charging, which is a normal phenomenon.

  2. New battery needs to go through several charging and discharging processes to achieve the best performance.

  3. Under normal circumstances, the player can be fully charged in about 3h. It is recommended to pull out from the USB port after charging, and do not connect to the power supply for a long time.

  4. The battery of this device is a polymer lithium battery, which can be recharged and used.

  5. The polymer lithium battery must be replaced by a professional, and the user must not replace it by himself (Note: If the battery is replaced improperly, there will be a danger of explosion, and it can only be replaced with the same type or equivalent type of battery); in order to protect the environment, please hand over the waste batteries to a professional organization for recycling.

  6. The lifespan of the battery may vary with the conditions of use and production time.

  7. The battery should not be exposed to sunlight, fire or similar overheating environment.

Tips for Hearin Conservation

  1. It is recommended to turn down the volume of the device before using the earphones, and gradually increase until it is suitable when you start to listen.
  2. In order to protect hearing, please do not turn up the volume too high (doctors pointed out that listening at high volume for a long time will damage the listener’s hearing).
  3. When tinnitus occurs, please lower the volume or stop using it.

Caution

  1. Before formatting the device, it is recommended to back up the personal data stored in it in time.
  2. Ensure that the product is placed safely to avoid accidents and drops caused by children touching.
  3. Do not overvoltage, strain the power cord, bend it or be squeezed by heavy objects, so as not to cause overheating or fire.
  4. Please keep the product away from the electromagnetic environment; keep away from excessive humidity, smoke and dust and other harsh environments.
  5. Do not immerse the device in water; do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners to clean it.
  6. Do not expose the product to moisture or rain, it may cause the device to malfunction or even be difficult to repair due to the penetration of water and moisture.
