Start-up and operation
Note
- To be able to charge your device via the wireless charger, it must be compatible with induction charging technology. Please refer to the operating instructions of your device for more information.
- Note that mobile phone cases, covers, etc., and other materials between the wireless charger and the back of your device may interfere with or even prevent the charging process.
Note – 12 V, 24 V vehicle electrical systems
The charger is suitable for 12 V and 24 V vehicle electrical systems.
- Fasten the wireless car charger over the enclosed grating holder (5) on the grating or fasten it to your vehicle’s windscreen with the help of the telescopic suction cup holder. Please ensure that your view is not obstructed.
- Connect the enclosed USB-C cable to the USB-C input (1) on the wireless charger and the enclosed car USB charger.
- When the power supply is active and after a brief self-test, the two status LEDs (2) light up green.
- The charger checks whether there is a smartphone in the holder. If there is no smartphone in the holder, the charger automatically opens the retaining clips.
Warning
- Only use suitable charging devices or USB ports to charge the product.
- Do not use defective chargers or USB ports and do not attempt to repair them.
- Place your device with its rear on the wireless charger (B). The retaining clips close automatically and the smartphone is fixed in place.
- The charging process begins as soon as an effective induction field has been established. The colour of the two status LEDs (2) changes to blue. The current charge status is displayed on your device.
- If no induction connection can be established, change the position of your device if necessary (B). The lower retaining clip can be pulled out or pushed in a little bit for this. Fixing is ensured by an integrated locking mechanism.
- The charging process ends automatically once your device’s battery is fully charged. The status LEDs (2) go out.
- Remove your device from the wireless charger or disconnect the wireless charger from the power supply.
- To remove the smartphone, touch one of the two touch buttons on the side of the charger to open the retaining clips.
- Thanks to the integrated power store, the charger can continue to be opened and closed a few times after being disconnected from the power supply.
- If metallic or magnetic objects are on the charger, this is indicated by the LEDs flashing green and blue alternately. Next, the charger switches itself off.
Note – car battery
With some vehicles, it can happen that power continues to be supplied even
though the ignition has been switched off. You should therefore disconnect the
product from the line connection when not in use to protect your car battery
from being drained.
