Product Information
The SPECO PVM10 is a Public View Monitor with a built-in IP Camera. It is designed to be an unobtrusive form factor for retail shelves. The monitor incorporates a high-definition (2MP) camera to view and record the area. It also has customizable features such as establishment logo, warning/welcome message banner, and audible warning/welcome message. The PVM10 can double as an advertisement display to show promotional stills or video. It can be powered via PoE or a 12VDC 2A power adapter (not included). The monitor can record to an NVR via ONVIF from either the RJ45 Connection or built-in WiFi. It also has interfaces for alarm in/out and other triggers. The PVM10 has a built-in speaker and a Max 1TB TF/SD slot for remote recording. It uses a VESA 75mm x 75mm mounting pattern (mount optional).

Important Safeguards and Warnings
Electrical safety
- All installation and operation here should conform to local electrical safety codes.
- Use a certified/listed 12VDC 2A Class2 power adapter (not included) or adequate PoEswitch.
- Improper handling and/or installation could run the risk of fire or electrical shock.
Environment
- Do not expose the unit to heavy stress, violent vibration or long-term exposure to water and humidity during transportation, storage, and/or installation.
- Do not install near sources of heat. Only install the product in environments inside the specification operating temperature and humidity range.
- Do not install the PVM near power lines, radar equipment or other electromagnetic radiation.
- Do not block any ventilation openings if any.
Operation and Daily Maintenance
- Please shut down the device and then unplug the power cable before you begin any maintenance work.
- Always use the dry soft cloth to clean the device. If there is too much dust, use a cloth dampened with a small quantity of neutral detergent. Finally use the dry cloth to clean the device.
Stained with dirt
- Use oil-free soft brush or hair dryer to remove it gently.
- Stained with grease or fingerprint.
- Use oil-free cotton cloth or paper soaked with alcohol or detergent to wipe from the lens center outward. Change the cloth and wipe several times if it is not clean enough.
Warning
- This camera should be installed by qualified personnel only.
- All the examination and repair work should be done by qualified personnel.
- Any unauthorized changes or modifications could void the warranty.

IP Tool Installation
- Customers can use our IP Config Tool to search/modify/factory reset/FW upgrading, etc.
IPC Default Information
- Default address: 192.168.0.66 (DHCP default enabled)
- Default username and PW: admin (PW is required to modify when you log in Web at the first time)
Please note
- Ensure your PC & PVM are in same network segment, so you can enter into the web without issue;
- Access via browser by typing in the IP address into your browser’s URL field(Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox)

Please type in correct IP address of your PVM on browser, and:
- Type in default PW “1234”;
- Enter into PW change page and change your PW (PW is forced to change to ensure safety).

Please note
- Motion detection is defaulted to “Enable” as well as “Record Video”;
- PIR is default “Enable” and alarm time is 10s setting.
- To set motion detection region/sensitivity/threshold, please enter “Regional Edit”.

Intelligence
The PVM10 can detect faces. This feature is can be an alternative to using motion or PIR triggers to reduce message fatigue.
Please note
- The PVM10 has an alarm out interface for faces, so when face alarm output is needed in application, you can enable “Alarm output”;
- If you want to use face detection to reduce “deterrence message” false pop-up, you can also set face sizes and clarity.

Banner
- Including Brand Image/Deterrence Message/Audio 3 functions.
Please note
- You can upload your logo and show on PVM;
- You can define the logo’sposition and size on the PVM;
- Logo picture format is PNG;
- Deterrence Message can be triggered byPIR/Face/Motion/Alarm Input; 5. DeterrenceMessage(picture) format is PNG;
- Audio volume can be set via “Config Media—Audio Video—Output Level”;
- Brand Image is default “Disable”, but Alert Sign is default “Enable” and triggered by PIR.
Ad Function
- Including Screen Mode and Play List 2 functions.
- Screen Mode: Full Screen/Banner
- Full Screen: Full Screen IP video or Full Screen AD; If you choose Full Screen, but do not upload AD files in this page, then the PVM will show full screen no-latency IP video;
- If you upload AD files in this page, then PVM will show full screen AD.
- Banner: 9:16 IP video & AD (Remaining Area)
- Now, the default is left side IP video, right side AD play.

- The Multimedia Format Supports:
- Image: JPG/PNG/BMP/GIF
- Video: MP4/MKV/MOV;
- Video Code: H.264/265
- Audio Code: aac/ac3/pcm
- The “Play List” also decides the playing sequence; So, before you upload AD files,please firstly confirm the playing sequence and then click “Upload Advert” at one shot;
- When you browse the AD (picture) , you can set its playing time, default 5s.
- 9:16 IP video does not mean the real video aspect ratio is 9:16; In fact, to ensure the IPvideo normal for visitors to watch, we adopt “Video Digital Pan” technology, the IP videoon the PVM will cruise like PTZ camera, so visitors will feel a complete 16:9 landscapestandard cctv IP video.
LCD Config
- Including LCD Time Switch Schedule and LCD Brightness 2 functions.
Please note
- LCD Bright’s default value is 7, Max is 9; When you set to 0, PVM screen is black.
- Time Switch Schedule means you can set when PVM sleep & wake, when PVM enterinto sleep mode, the built-in IP camera will still work for cctv monitoring.
