Product Usage Instructions
Prepare Cable
- Jacket: Make the dual jacket as small as possible, keeping a maximum length of 1.2 cm (0.47 inches). Remove the aramid yarn inside the second jacket.
- Dual Jacket (if present): Not used within this kit.
- Aramid Yarn/Rigid Strength Member: Not used within this kit.
- Subunits: Clean the subunits and remove all grease. Remove the subunit tube to access the fiber.
Install the Cable on the Carrier
- Align the sheath opening with the rib on the carrier.
- Mount the clip on the cable-carrier assembly. The two slots of the metal clip should be positioned in the two tabs of the carrier, then turn the clip towards the cable.
- Push until the two snap hooks snap into the slots of the metal clip. Pliers can be used to close the clip properly.
Install Carrier
To secure the cable to the organizer, the three hooks on the rear side of the carrier should slide into the three slots on the interface plate on the organizer. The top left slot has a locking lip to keep the cable-carrier assembly in place.
- Slide the carrier with the cable secured into the slots of the organizer. Push the locking lip in the first slot backwards.
- Slide the carrier downwards.
- The locking lip returns to its original position, and the carrier is correctly seated. A clicking sound is observed.
Remove Carrier
- Position a fiber guidance pen in the little cavity in the locking lip of the first slot and push the locking lip backwards. When the lock is released, lift the carrier up.
- Move the carrier with the cable attached forward.
