SAFETY
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Before installing the Hardwired Room Sensor, switch power off at the service panel and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel. CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock – More than one disconnect switch may be required to de-energize the equipment before servicing.
- All electrical work must be done in accordance with local codes, ordinances, or National Electrical Code, as applicable, including fire-rated construction codes and standards. FOR SAFETY, THIS PRODUCT MUST BE GROUNDED. If you are unfamiliar with methods of installing electrical wiring, secure the services of a qualified electrician.
- Use copper conductor only.
- Install only in a UL Listed dual-gang junction box sized 4.0 x 3.0 x 3.0 in. (101.6 x 76.2 x 76.2 mm) or larger, with a minimum volume of 30.0 in³(491.6 cm³) and a minimum depth of 3.0 in (76.2 cm).
- This control requires a neutral wire for operation.
- When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not damage electrical wiring or other hidden utilities.
- To prevent serious injury from electrical shock or damage to electrical components – DO NOT WIRE HOT!
- The automatic operation feature is Type 1 action, according to UL 60730-1.
- The enclosure protection rating is IP10.
- The product is Pollution Degree 2, which is intended to be used in a household environment or similar.
- The devices are not intended for use in locations where the temperature may be less than actual room conditions, such as unheated warehouses or garages.
- Avoid water and wet locations. Keep the device away from water, fire, excessive humidity, or hot environments
- Do not use the device where wireless devices are not allowed.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device. Don’t disassemble the product, or make repairs yourself. You run the risk of electric shock and voiding the limited warranty. If you need service, please contact us.
- Note: When power is applied, the Hardwired Room Sensor 1110725 may require approximately 30 seconds to boot up and be ready to function.
- Please read and follow the above safety information when operating the device. We cannot guarantee that no accidents or damage will occur due to the improper use of the device. Please use this product with care and operate at your own risk.
Warranty is void if miswired.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: This control requires a 120 VAC source (hot and neutral) in the switch box to operate the Hardwired Room Sensor.

Turn off the power and lockout the service panel before wiring the control.

Location Notes:
a. The control should be placed on interior walls only at switch box height from the floor.
b. Keep the control away from HVAC equipment such as heat registers, cold air returns, heaters, fans, and drafts.
c. Place your Hardwired Room Sensor within the range of your Wi-Fi router or access point (approximately 100 feet).
d. Avoid physical obstructions and radio interference in the surrounding area. -
Install the control in at least a 3″ deep dual-gang junction box. The control can be installed in either a metal outlet box or a plastic outlet box.

Attach the incoming power line to switch box. It may be necessary to use two side knockouts for some applications. Use proper connectors. Provide 6″ leads inside box.

Make electrical connections following the diagram below or on the Broan-NuTone OvertureTM website. Use wire nuts. Make sure the control is properly grounded.

Tuck wires in and fasten control to junction box using attached screws. Verify Hardwired Room Sensor orientation before installation. Note “UP” direction shown on the front of control.

Attach front cover by aligning top locators and snaps on the bottom. Push to secure.
