Installation Specifications
- Measure the height, width, and depth of the opening, including baseboards, molding, tile, countertop overhang, etc. Ensure there is enough room to open the door, considering walls, islands, or other obstacles.
- Refer to the provided illustration to determine the dimensions.
- Allow 2.5 inches of clearance on the hinge side of the refrigerator when installed next to a wall where the handle may make contact.
- Allow a minimum clearance of 1 inch at the rear for proper air circulation and water/electrical connections. Allow a minimum clearance of 3/8 inch at the sides and top for ease of installation.
- Ensure each door and entryway in the home is wide enough for the refrigerator to be moved through easily. Do not install next to a wall for optimal usage and the ability to open refrigerator doors completely.
