Product Information

The LED Star Tube T8 is a type of LED fluorescent tube designed as a replacement for conventional T8 fluorescent tubes. It is available in various models with different power ratings and color temperatures:

  • RL-T8 18 S 840/G13 EM – 18W, 4000K
  • RL-T8 18 S 865/G13 EM – 18W, 6500K
  • RL-T8 36 S 840/G13 EM – 36W, 4000K
  • RL-T8 36 S 865/G13 EM – 36W, 6500K
  • RL-T8 58 S 840/G13 EM – 58W, 4000K
  • RL-T8 58 S 865/G13 EM – 58W, 6500K

This LED tube is suitable for use in dry conditions or in luminaires that provide protection. It is designed for operation at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency. Please note that this lamp is not suitable for emergency operation and dimming is not allowed.

The product is manufactured by Radium Lampenwerk GmbH in Germany.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the power supply to the fluorescent tube is turned off.
  2. Remove the conventional T8 fluorescent tube from the luminaire.
  3. If required, replace the starter with the LED replacement starter provided.
  4. Insert the LED Star Tube T8 into the luminaire, aligning it with the socket.
  5. Ensure the tube is securely fitted and properly aligned.
  6. Turn on the power supply to the fluorescent tube.

Make sure to follow the safety guidelines and installation instructions provided by the luminaire manufacturer.

Installation Instruction

This lamp is designed for general lighting service (excluding for example explosive atmospheres). Since only lamp and starter are replaced there is no constructive modification to the luminaire. This lamp may not be suitable for use in all applications where a traditional fluorescent lamp has been used. The temperature range of this lamp is more restricted. In cases of doubt regarding the suitability of the application the manufacturer of this lamp should be consulted.

  1. Replacement of conventional T8 fluorescent tube on CCG.
  2. Maximum case temperature.
  3. Storage temperature.
  4. Ambient temperature.
  5. Lamp to be used in dry conditions or in a luminaire that provides protection.
  6. Lamp suitable for 50 Hz or 60 Hz operation.
  7. Lamp is not suitable for emergency operations.
  8. Dimming is not allowed.
