The Openpath Standard Smart Reader v2 is a cutting-edge access control device

Product Usage Instructions
To install the Openpath Standard Smart Reader v2, follow these steps:
- Choose the desired mounting option: flush mount in a gang box, surface mount on the wall, or surface mount with casing and snap cover exposed.
- Connect the reader to the primary controller using the provided pigtail connections. Match the corresponding colors: Gray to GND, Blue to RS485-B, Violet to RS485-A, and Orange to +12V IN.
- If connecting to an auxiliary Wiegand reader, use the following connections: Red to Wiegand Voltage, Black to Wiegand RTN, Green to Wiegand Data 0, White to Wiegand Data 1, Brown to Wiegand LED, and Yellow to Wiegand Buzzer.
- Ensure that the Smart Reader v2 is within range of the desired cards or smartphone devices for access.
- For card compatibility, the reader supports ISO 14443A, Prox CE, FCC, UL 294, and UKCA standards.
- The reader also offers additional features such as Openpath Bluetooth, NFC Wave to Unlock/Touch, Auto Proximity Unlock with Openpath Prox Cards/Fobs, and cloud management via Openpath Access.
- The Smart Reader v2 is available in standard black and white colors.
