LISA RALEIGH bounti Boots
OPERATION & SAFETY
For ages 12 and older.
Do not use bounti BOOTS to kick any objects.
GETTING STARTED
Remain seated when fitting your bounti BOOTS and ensure that they are
correctly strapped before standing up.
We recommend use of a wall or similar stabilising structure as you go from a
seated to standing position.
Do not buckle them too tightly.
Move slowly in your BOOTS until you are confident enough to bounce in them
.The springs will soften with use. Gentle bouncing or slow running will assist
in softening the springs until they are comfortable.
SAFE USAGE
Avoid injury by adhering to the following guidelines:
Use your bounti BOOTS on a flat surface that is free of water and other small
obstacles such as slippery leaves or small stones.
Whilst learning to bounce in your BOOTS, work on identifying your centre of
gravity, and practice leaning from side to side, as well as stopping abruptly.
Remain situationally aware so as to avoid collisions. Be vigilant of any
obstacles or obstructions.
Concentrate on the surface you’re using to remain aware of a change, such as
sudden downhill or road damage.
Maintain safe distances between yourself and other bouncers or general
pedestrians. Use socks that are thicker than average, and come up higher than
the boot to protect your ankles. We recommend bounti BOOT Socks, available
through our e-store.
Before every use, ensure that the spring and sole are properly secured.
Tighten the screws after every use or after every few uses. Have fun, be
responsible and know your physical limits!
SPARES, REPAIRS AND CARE
Purchase bounti BOOTS spares through bounti SA or UK only.
No warranty on spares, however, our replacement policy does apply if any parts
of your product are broken or damaged upon arrival.
SPRINGS:
Have a 50-to-70-hour lifespan. Replace when you notice decreased bounce from your BOOTS, or damage to other parts of the BOOTS caused by excessiveuse of the springs.
TREADS:
Expect normal wear and tear of the treads, which will be exacerbated by use over rough terrain.
PLATES:
Will not wear out or wear through.
BUCKLES:
Add a small amount of oil if they are initially too tight to move easily.
SAND & GRIT:
Directly after use, ensure that all dirt, sand and grit is removed from your BOOTS. Be particularly vigilant about removing dirt from the buckles and bolts.
INNER-BOOT LINING:
Is machine washable. May damage with repeated wear and tear.
DISASSEMBLY
With both hands, firmly grasp the bottom plate. Apply your body’s strength to the bottom of the marked circle. Bend down and remove the lower shell. To remove the spring, place one hand on the top pedal, begin applying pressure towards the ground, and the spring will bend enough to decouple.
REASSEMBLY
Following the previously explained disassembly process, re-insert the various components. Note that it will require some force. When assembling the spring, make sure that its shapes are aligned.
