USING INSTRUCTION
Product Information
The MobileGlue 1007/1007-S is a portable glue gun designed for various applications. It operates on a lithium-ion battery with a voltage of 3.6V and a capacity of 1.5 Ah. The glue gun comes with different types of glue sticks, including Cristal-Sticks, Ultrapower-Sticks, Color-Sticks, and Glitzer-Sticks. It features an ON/OFF button and an LED indicator for easy operation. The glue gun has a quick heat-up time of under 15 seconds and can provide approximately 30 minutes of continuous operation after a full charge. It can be charged using the included USB charging cable.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the MobileGlue 1007/1007-S, familiarize yourself with the operating instructions provided in the manual.
- Ensure that the surface on which you will be using the glue gun is dry, clean, and free of grease.
- Do not use the glue gun on highly flammable or combustible materials.
- To turn on the glue gun, press and hold the ON button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will turn red, indicating that the glue gun is ready for operation.
- Select the appropriate type of glue stick for your application.
- Insert the glue stick into the applicator of the glue gun.
- Wait for the glue gun to heat up, which usually takes under 15 seconds.
- Once the glue gun is heated up, you can start applying the glue to your desired surface by pressing the trigger.
- After use, turn off the glue gun by pressing the ON button again.
- Allow the glue gun to cool down before storing it.
- If you encounter any issues with the glue gun, do not attempt to remove the battery. Contact your retailer or customer support for assistance.
Note: Take necessary safety precautions while using the glue gun. Avoid contact with hot glue and seek medical attention if needed.

Safety precautions
Before use

Check the tool for any damage (Charging cable, housing etc.) before putting it into operation and do not use the tool if it is damaged.

Do not use liquid or pasty adhesives!

The glue reaches temperatures of up to 190 °C!
You could burn yourself!
After skin contact with hot glue: immediately cool with cold water. Do not try to remove hot-melt glue from the skin. If necessary, seek medical attention. After eye contact with hot-melt glue immediately cool for approx. 15 min. with running water and consult a doctor straight away. -
Use the applicator in dry rooms only.

Do not use in conjunction with highly inflammable/ combustible materials.

Due to risk of fire, do not use on highly combustible surfaces or in combustible environments (e.g. paper, textiles etc.).

The area you are glueing must be free of grease, dry and absolutely clean.

Glue marks on clothing cannot be removed.

Make sure heat-sensitive materials are suitable for glueing with hot-melt adhesive.

Drips of glue are best removed when cold.

Do not pull the glue stick out of the applicator.
Hot glue running into the applicator may cause damage. -
Do not leave the applicator unattended.

This tool may be used by children aged 8 or above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been given instructions on how to use the tool safely and und stand the hazards involved. Do not allow children to play with the tool. Children are not allowed to clean or carry out maintenance work on the applicator without supervision.

Proper operation is only guaranteed by using genuine STEINEL sticks.
USB charging cable
- Keep the charging cable clean. Soiling may present the risk of an electric shock.
- Charge the applicator at a temperature ranging from 0 °C to 35 °C.
- Only charge the unit with the USB charging cable supplied with it (type 15.3841). Do not charge rechargeable batteries of other brands. They could catch fire or explode
Rechargeable battery
- Do not open the applicator or the rechargeable battery. This could cause a short circuit. The rechargeable battery must not be removed. In the event of problems, contact the retailer you purchased the applicator from.
- The lithium-ion rechargeable battery can be recharged at any time without shortening its lifespan. Interrupting the charge cycle will not damage the rechargeable battery.
- When taking out of use for a long time, put the applicator away with battery charged. This will prolong the life of the lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
- Vapours may escape if the rechargeable battery is used improperly or damaged. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell and provide fresh air. The vapours may cause respiratory irritation
Proper use: This electric tool is only intended for solvent-free glueing
of handicraft materials and model components at home
Application: Cordless hot-melt glue pen with rechargeable lithium-ion
battery. The ideal all-purpose glue applicator for craft, decorating and
making repairs. Suitable for: paper, card, cork, wood, leather, textiles,
plastic, ceramics, foam, tiles etc.

Operating principle and handling
- Before using for the first time, fully charge the battery (2-3 hours) so as to prolong its life. (see Charging/ Operation)
- Insert glue stick into rear heating duct.
- When using the tool for the first time, press the trigger several times to fill the heating chamber with adhesive. It may also be necessary to give the glue stick a short push to help it move in.
- To prevent the applicator from being switched ON unintentionally, you must press the button for approx. 2 sec. Green LED flashes for 15 sec.
- Press trigger and apply glue to one side.
- Firmly press together the materials being glued, correcting alignment if necessary.
- Final bonding strength is reached after a very short time (approx. 2 minutes)!
- Spot glueing is recommended on long items with large surfaces.
- Rigid foam (e.g. polystyrene) can also be glued without a problem. Merely remember to apply the hot glue on the base surfac
- When glueing textiles or similar materials, it is recommended to apply the hot glue in “wavy” lines.
- Let the applicator cool down after use.
Charging / Operation
- The rechargeable battery in the MobileGlue 1007/1007-S comes partially charged. Before using the applicator for the first time, fully charge the battery (approx. 2-3 hours) to ensure full capacity.
- The MobileGlue 1007/1007-S cannot be used while it is charging. Interrupting the charge cycle will not damage the rechargeable battery. The battery can be recharged at any time without shortening its lifespan. “Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)” protects the battery from exhaustive discharge. If the battery runs flat, protective circuitry switches the MobileGlue 1007/1007-S OFF and glue is no longer heated.

cycled in an environmentally compatible manner.
Do not dispose of electrical and electronic equipment as domes-tic waste.
EU countries only:
Under the current European Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment and its implementation in national law, electrical and electronic
equipment no longer suitable for use must be col-lected separately and
recycled in an envi-ronmentally compatible manner.
Do not throw devices, rechargeable batteries/batteries into household waste,
fire or water at the end of their useful life.
Rechargeable batteries/batteries should be collected, recycled or disposed of
in an environmentally friendly manner.
EU countries only:
In accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC, defective or spent rechargeable
batteries/batteries must be recycled. Waste rechargeable batteries/batteries
can be returned to the point of purchase or to a collection facility for
hazardous substances.

- All STEINEL products meet the highest quality standards. For this reason, we, the manufacturer, are pleased to provide you, the consumer, with a warranty under the following terms and conditions:
- The warranty covers the absence of defici-encies which are proven to be the result of a material defect or fault in manufacturing and which are reported to us immediately after detection and within the warranty period. The warranty shall apply to all STEINEL pro-ducts sold and used in Germany – excluding STEINEL Professional products.
- You can opt for warranty cover in the form of repair or replacement which will be provi-ded free of charge (if applicable, in the form of a successor model of the same or higher quality) or in the form of a credit note.
- The warranty period for the STEINEL pro-duct you have purchased is 3 years in each case from the date on which the product was purchased.
- We shall bear the shipping costs but not the transport risks involved in return shipment.
- Statutory rights accruing from defects, gratuitousness
- The warranty cover described here shall be applicable in addition to the statutory rights of warranty – including special consumer protection provisions – and shall not restrict or replace them. Exercising your statutory rights in the event of defects is gratuitous.
Exemptions from the warranty
All replaceable lamps are expressly exclu-ded from this warranty. In addition
to this, the warranty shall not cover:
- any wear resulting from use or any other natural wear of product parts or any deficiencies in the STEINEL product that are attributable to wear caused by use or other natural wear,
- any improper or non-intended use of the product or any failure to observe the operating instructions,
- any unauthorised additions, alterations or other modifications to the product or any deficiencies attributable to the use of accessory,
- supplementary or replacement parts which are not genuine STEINEL parts,
- any maintenance or care of products that is not carried out in accordance with the operating instructions,
- any attachment or installation that is not in accordance with STEINEL’s installation instructions,
- any damage or loss occurring in transit.
Application of German law
The warranty shall be governed by German law excluding the United Nations
Convention concerning the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Making claims
If you wish to make a warranty claim, please send your product complete and
carriage paid with the original receipt of purchase, which must show the date
of purchase and product designation, either to your retailer or directly to us
at STEINEL (UK) Ltd. – 25 Manasty Road, Axis Park, Orton Southgate, GB-
Peterborough Cambs PE2 6UP United Kingdom. For this reason, we recommend that
you keep your receipt of purchase in a safe place until the warranty period
expires.
