Product Care Instructions
- We recommend using a professional plumber for all installation and repair.
- Please inform yourself about the Canadian plumbing code’s regulations and your local municipality plumbing codes before installation.
- The Canadian plumbing code requires the installation of surge arresting devices to eliminate water hammering.
- Allow an adequate opening in order to easily access connections or other plumbing devices for maintenance or repair.
Recommended Tools:
- Plumber’s putty
- Thread seal tape (included)
Connection Advice:
Firmly hand tighten the hose to the valve and add a quarter turn using the
proper wrench. Tighten more if needed.
Product Usage Instructions
Before You Begin:
Make sure you have the necessary tools and materials ready before starting the
installation process.
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Copper Connection
Follow the drilling guide to create openings for the copper connections.
Step 2: Head Shower Installation
- Connect the hot water pipe to the hot water inlet on the pressure balanced diverter valve.
- Connect the cold water pipe to the cold water inlet on the pressure balanced diverter valve.
- Connect the shower head to the top outlet of the pressure balanced diverter valve.
Step 3: Bathtub Spout Installation
Connect the bathtub spout to the bottom outlet of the pressure balanced
diverter valve.
Note: When using a hand shower, it needs to be connected to the top outlet of the pressure balanced diverter valve.

- Apply plumber’s putty under the plastic cover deck plcta to seal your installation.
