When operated normally, all adapters should be plugged into power sockets on the wall. Ideally, however, the adapters should be initially set up in the room where the router is. This means you can plug the adapters into a power strip temporarily for the installation process.

Download the devolo Home Network app. An installation wizard will take you through the configuration step-by step. If you prefer to carry out the installation without the app, follow the steps in Part B.
1B Installation without App
Plug-in Adapter 1 + 2

Plug two of the adapters into an available power socket and wait until the LED flashes white quickly (about 1 min.).
2B Plug-in Adapter 3

Plug the third adapter into the power socket and connect it to your router with the included Ethernet cable.
3B Automatic Pairing

The encryption process takes place automatically. During this time, the LEDs of all adapters will flash white.

Press the button on adapter 1.
5B WPS Configuration

Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router. If necessary, please refer to the manual for your router to find the location of the WPS button and how long you have to press it.
6B Switch off Router

Once the LEDs of all devices are flashing white continuously, the process is complete (a maximum of 3 minutes).
Now switch off the Wi-Fi on your router (if necessary, refer to the manual for your router).

All devolo Mesh WiFi devices now form a joint Mesh Wi-Fi network. You can now put the adapters in whatever locations you choose.

Help: If pairing during initial installation was unsuccessful, you can carry out the manual pairing of the adapters.
Connect the devolo adapters to a free wall socket and wait until the LED lashes white (approx. 1 min.).

Press the button on all devolo adapters within 3 minutes. Once all LEDs light up white, the pairing has been completed successfully.
