They only came with the 1/8 jack, but if the keyboard has the standard 1/4 jack any standard adapter will work just fine. It has about a 5ft cord so it should not get in the way when used with a keyboard. As for the quality of the sound - that should be no problem.

I measured it as 57 to 58 inches almost 5 feet.

I find them comfortable but realize that the feel of headphones is mostly a personal preference.
