The AC1200 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Router, model EC223-G5, is a high-speed dual-band wireless router manufactured by TP-Link. It provides rapid wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps at 2.4GHz and 867Mbps at 5GHz. The router features full gigabit ports, including a 1000Mbps WAN port and four 1000Mbps LAN ports, for ultrafast data transfer speeds. It also supports IPTV services with IGMP Proxy/Snooping, Bridge, and Tag VLAN functionality to optimize IPTV streaming. The router also supports easy parental control, allowing parents or administrators to supervise children and staff with responsible access. It includes features like blacklisting specific websites or limiting web access levels using keywords. Additionally, the router supports multi-SSID, which enables ISPs to create separate WLAN networks for different service deployments like IPTV and Internet.

TP-Link’s Aginet Solution is integrated into the router, greatly reducing ISPs’ OPEX. It supports Aginet Config, allowing ISPs to customize default configurations according to their requirements and keep the settings after users reset devices. It also supports Aginet ACS, enabling ISPs to remotely manage deployed devices and reduce on-site maintenance costs.

The hardware description of the router includes a WAN reset port, power on/off button, WPS button, and gigabit/Wi-Fi LAN ports. The router is powered by an external power supply with a rating of 12V/1A. It complies with wireless standards IEEE 802.11a/n/ac for 5GHz frequency and IEEE 802.11b/g/n for 2.4GHz frequency. Product Usage Instructions

1. Connect the AC1200 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi Router to your modem using the included Ethernet cable. Plug the Ethernet cable into the WAN port on the router.
2. Connect your computer or other devices to the router using Ethernet cables or by connecting to the router’s Wi-Fi network.
3. Power on the router by connecting the included power adapter to the power input port and plugging it into a power outlet.
4. Wait for the router to boot up and establish a connection with your modem.
5. To access the router’s web-based management interface, open a web browser and enter “http://tplinkwifi.net” or “http://192.168.0.1” in the address bar. Press Enter.
6. Enter the default username and password provided in the user manual or on the router’s label to log in to the management interface.
7. Once logged in, you can configure various settings such as Wi-Fi network names (SSIDs), passwords, parental controls, and advanced features like IPTV optimization.
