VISUAL COMFORT ARN5520 Valencia Extra Large Three Light Chandelier
Product Information
Item Number: ARN5520
This product is a Valencia Extra Large Three Light Chandelier. It is designed
to be installed in accordance with applicable local installation codes by a
person familiar with the construction and operation of light fixtures. Please
inspect the item and its contents carefully before installation. If any damage
or defect is found, do not install and retain all packaging material until
installation is complete and approved.
Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove the mounting plate (B) from the canopy (I) by removing the collar ring (J).
- Install the mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure it with the provided mounting screws (F).
- Install the fixture arms (M, N, O) to the fixture hub (X) and secure them with the lock washer (Y) and screws (Z) using the provided wrench (E). Refer to diagrams 1 & 2 for guidance.
- Connect the arm neutral wires (black) to the fixture neutral wire (black) and secure them using the wire nut (A).
- Connect the hot wires (red) to the fixture hot wire (red) and secure them using the wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Install the metal plate (T) to the hub (X) and secure it with the hex nut (U).
- Install the cap (V) to the hub (X) and secure it with the final (W).
- Feed the electrical wires through the bottom rod (L) and thread them to the connector on top of the hub (X). Repeat this step for the middle rod (K), connecting it to the bottom rod (L).
- Continue feeding the wires through the collar ring (J), canopy (I), and top rod (H).
- Holding the fixture upright, slide the collar ring (J) and canopy (I) down the bottom rods (L) and rest them on the fixture. Then connect the top rod (H) to the middle rod (K). NOTE: Slide components down slowly to avoid damage.
- Hang the fixture fan mount (G) to the center of the mounting plate (B) and secure it with the set screw (C) using the provided screwdriver (D). Refer to diagram 3 for guidance.
- Cut excess wires, ensuring that there is enough length to reach the junction box. Separate the wires and strip insulation on each end by 5/8 inches.
- Connect the supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) around the green grounding screw. Tighten it securely.
- NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.
- Connect the fixture neutral wire (black) to the driver output wire (black) using the wire nut (A).
- Connect the fixture hot wire (red) to the driver output wire (red) using the wire nut (A).
- CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Connect the driver input neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using the wire nut (A).
NOTICE: This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect item and contents carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install. Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved

- Phillips Screwdriver
- Slotted Screwdriver
- Wire Cutters
- Wire Strippers
- Slip-joint pliers
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
- Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove mounting plate (B) from canopy (I) by removing collar ring (J).
- Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with mounting screws (F).
- Install fixture arms (M & N & O) to fixture hub (X) and secure with lock washer (Y) and screws (Z) using provided wrench (E). See diagram 1 & 2.
- Connect arm neutral wires (black) to fixture neutral wire (black) and secure using wire nut (A).
- Connect hot wires (red) to fixture hot wire (red) and secure using wire nut (A).
- CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Install metal plate (T) to hub (X) and secure with hex nut (U).
- Install cap (V) to hub (X) and secure with final (W).
- Feed electrical wires through bottom rod (L) and thread to connector on top of hub (X). Repeat for middle rod (K), connecting to bottom rod (L)
- Continue feeding wires through collar ring (J), canopy (I), and top rod (H).
- Holding fixture upright, slide collar ring (J) and canopy (I) down bottom rods (L) and rest on fixture. Then connect top rod (H) to middle rod (K).
- NOTE: Slide components down slowly to avoid damages.
- Hang fixture fan mount (G) to the center of mounting plate (B) and secure with set screw (C) using provided screwdriver (D). See diagram 3.
- Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. Separate wires, and strip insulation on each 5/8″.
- Connect supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 4). Tighten.
- NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.
- Connect fixture neutral wire (black) to driver output wire (black) using wire nut (A).
- Connect fixture hot wire (red) to driver output wire (red) using wire nut (A).
- CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Connect driver input neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).
- Connect driver input hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A).
- CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
- Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
- Insert driver into the center of mounting plate (B).
- Install canopy (I) to mounting plate (B) and secure with collar ring (J).
- Thread rods (P) to fixture.
- Remove thumbscrews (Q) from rods (P), then line up holes from bowl (S) to rods (P) and secure with thumbscrews (Q). Repeat with the remaining parts.
- Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.
