Product Information

• The product is a roof light that provides ventilation and natural light in a vehicle. It is available in two models: Vent 50 White and Vent 50 Crystal. The weight of the product is 4.5 kg for Vent 50 White and 4.7 kg for Vent 50 Crystal.
• The roof light is suitable for installation on roofs with a thickness between 30 and 70mm. For roofs with a thickness lower than 30mm, a suitable frame needs to be positioned inside the vehicle between the roof and the inside frame.
• The package includes the necessary components for installation, including the outside frame, inside frame, screws, mosquito net, and blind. It is important to check for any damage or deformation during transport before proceeding with the installation.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Decide on the location where the roof light should be installed and create a square hole with dimensions of 50cm.
2. If the roof thickness is lower than 30mm, place a suitable frame between the roof and the inside frame.
3. Remove the inside frame and apply a waterproof sealant, such as SIKALASTOMER-710, THERMOSTAT II, or DEKALIN 1512, to the bottom of the outside frame with a minimum thickness of 3mm.
4. Clean the surface of the roof where the roof light will be installed. Place the outside part of the roof light on the roof and insert the inside frame into the square hole from inside the vehicle. Tighten the screws at least 15mm to secure the external part of the roof light.
5. Apply sealant around the entire perimeter of the outer frame to ensure a watertight seal. Fill any gaps between the frame and the roof.
6. Insert the inside frame with the mosquito net and blind into the roof light. Remove the protective plastic from the cover, taking care not to expose the product to sunlight for too long.

1. Decide where the roofs ight should be installed and make a square hole of 50cm. The roof ight can be installed on roofs with thicknesses between 30 and 70mm. For thicknesses lower than 30mm set a suitable frame to be positioned on the roof inside the hole between the roof and the inside frame.
2. Remove the inside frame and spread the water-proof sealant over the greater part of the bottom of the outside frame to a minimum thickness of 3mm. Recommended sealant: SIKALASTOMER-710 / THERMOSTAT II / DEKALIN 1512.
3. Clean the bearing surface on the roof, put the outside part of the roof ight on the roof, insert the inside frame in the provided square hole, and from inside the vehicle screw the two frames together with 12 ø4,8mm UNI EN ISO 7049 wood screws. To fix with security the roof ight external part, the screw must be tightened at least 15mm.
4. Apply sealant to the whole perimeter of the outer frame and fill any gaps between the frame and the roof. Finally, insert the inside frame with the mosquito net and the blind and fi t them with screws ø3,5x15mm UNI EN ISO 7049.
5. Remove the protective plastic applied to the cover (do not expose the product to sunlight for too long to avoid making this operation difficult).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

• Fiamma declines all responsibility for any personal injury and damage to property due to incorrect assembly or use of the product; it is suggested to keep the instructions inside the vehicle.
• The assembly of the product must be carried out according to the assembly instructions: the product must not be modifi ed in any way.
• Before proceeding with assembly, check that the roof thickness is compatible with the product.
• Before choosing the place where to assembly the roofl ight, check that:
• the product doesn’t interfere with adjacent accessories (luggage racks, cables, reinforcements in the roof, cabinets inside the passenger compartment).
• the internal and external surface of the roof is flat.
• Periodically check the tightness of all the screws in the roofl ight, especially after the fi rst kilometres from the installation and always before and after long trips. If the opening-closing device hardens, lubricate the lid opening device with a few drops of grease. It is forbidden to walk on the product cover.
• Before starting the vehicle, check that the roofl ight is properly closed. Periodically check that the cover is intact. Don’t open the roofl ight when the vehicle is travelling. Don’t open the roofl ight in case of strong wind or rain. Remove snow or ice from the roofl ight. Always comply with speed limits and the Highway Code. The speed should always be suitable to traffi c conditions and transported load.
• In the event of an accident involving the vehicle and/or the product, ensure that the product has not been damaged. In the event of damage, contact your local retailer before moving the vehicle. Fiamma declines every responsibility for any modifi cation of the product that may cause damage and/or injury to things and people.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

For the internal and external cleaning of the roofl ight, always use only neutral, non-aggressive detergents. For cleaning the Crystal cover use an acrylic glass cleaner with a soft cloth so as not to scratch the surface. Never use aggressive products such as glass cleaners, all-purpose cleaners, abrasives or dish-washing detergents. Also, never use alcohol-containing detergents, solvents or any corrosive liquid. Clean the mosquito net with water and neutral detergent removing the roller blind and the four fastening screws.
