Product Usage Instructions

Before using the POWER CD11, please read the following instructions carefully:

  1. Ensure that the CD player is placed on a stable surface away from sources of heat and water.
  2. Do not attempt to repair any internal parts yourself. For assistance, refer to qualified personnel.
  3. Clean the CD player’s cabinet with a dry cloth or a small vacuum cleaner. Avoid using liquid cleaners.
  4. Do not modify the grounding or polarization of the power cable. If the provided power cable does not match your outlet standard, consult an electrician for replacement.
  5. Avoid bending, crushing, or exposing the power cable to excessive heat. Pay attention to the cable’s positioning near the power outlet and at the back of the device.
  6. Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
  7. Ensure that the CD player is placed on a strong and stable stand or shelf to prevent accidents or damage.
  8. During thunderstorms or when the CD player is not in use for an extended period, disconnect the power cable from the outlet.
  9. Use the CD player in non-tropical climates.
  10. Do not obstruct the ventilation openings of the CD player with objects such as newspapers, tablecloths, or curtains.
  11. Avoid placing open flames, such as lit candles, on the CD player.
  12. Leave at least 10 cm of free space on all sides of the CD player for proper ventilation.
  13. Connect the CD player only to a power source that matches the specifications indicated on the rear panel (USA: 120V/60Hz, CE: 230V/50Hz).
  14. Dispose of remote control batteries according to state and local guidelines.
  15. RS 232 connection should only be used by authorized personnel.

Important Notes

When making connections be sure to:

  • 4 Turn off all the components in the system before hooking up any components, including loudspeakers.
  • 4 Turn off all components in the system before changing any of the connections to the system.

WARNING : To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to moisture to the water. Do not place containers of water, such as vases, on the unit. Prevent objects from falling into the cabinet. If the apparatus has been exposed to moisture or an object has fallen into the cabinet, immediately unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Take the appliance to a qualified service center for the necessary checks and repairs.

  • Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, convector heaters, stoves or other appliances that generate heat.
  • Do not try to eliminate grounding or polarization. If the plug on the supplied power cord does not match the standard of your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the outlet.
  • Do not route the power cord where it could be pinched, pinched, excessively bent, exposed to heat, or damaged. Pay particular attention to the routing of the power cord into the electrical outlet and the point where it exits from the back of the apparatus.
  • Only use accessories specified by the manufacturer.

Only use stands, shelves or supports strong enough to support the product. Be very careful when moving it when it is on a stand or shelf to avoid injury or damage to the product if it falls.

  • The power cord should be unplugged from the electrical outlet during a severe lightning storm and when the equipment will be unused for an extended period of time.
  • The appliance must no longer be used and inspected by qualified personnel when: the power cord or plug has been damaged; objects or liquids have fallen into the device; has been exposed to rain; it doesn’t seem to work normally; has been dropped or damaged in any way.
  • The appliance must be used in non-tropical climates.
  • Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
  • No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
  • Touching uninsulated terminals or wires may cause an unpleasant sensation.
  • Leave at least 10 cm of free space on all sides of the product.
  • CAUTION: The power cord receptacle on the rear panel is the primary means of disconnecting the unit from power. Therefore, position it in such a way that the socket is always easily accessible.
  • The appliance must only be connected to a power supply of the type indicated on the rear panel. (US:120V/60Hz, CE:230V/50Hz).
  • Connect the unit to the power outlet only with the cord provided or an exact equivalent. Do not modify the supplied cable in any way. Do not try to eliminate grounding or polarization. Do not use extension cords.
  • The power cord receptacle on the rear panel is the primary means of disconnecting the power cord. To completely disconnect the product, you must physically unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and product. This is the only way to completely remove power from the product.
  • The remote control batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of according to state and local guidelines.
