Cautions on handling the lens units
· The lens units are precision instruments. Do not subject them to shock or
apply excessive force.
· Do not move the projector with the lens unit mounted on it. Be sure to
remove the lens unit beforehand. Subjecting the projector to shocks when
moving could damage the lens unit or lens shift mechanism.
· Before removing or mounting the lens unit, turn off the power, wait for the
cooling fan to stop, then unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
· During operation, DO NOT touch the lens surface, the focus/zoom motor or the
gears. · Be very careful not to let dirt or oil get on the lens surface and
not to scratch the lens surface. · To avoid the risk of the lens unit
dropping, do not perform operations in high places. Perform
operations on a flat surface. · When leaving the lens unit off for long
periods of time, mount the dust-prevention cap on the
projector to prevent dust or dirt from getting inside.
