- WARNING: To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture. Do not store or operate this product near any liquids.
- Clean only with a dry cloth.
- Do not store or operate this product near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatuses (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two blades and a round grounding prong. The wide blade or third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.
- Protect all wires connected to this unit from being walked on or pinched, particularly plugs and the point where they exit from the unit. When removing the cord from the power outlet, remove it by holding the plug not by pulling the cord.
- Unplug the unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- When wiring this unit and all other equipment used in connection to this unit make sure that all of your equipment is turned OFF.
- Once installation and wiring is complete power on all your equipment with the volume and level controls turned DOWN. Once all the equipment is ON slowly raise the volume or level controls to their proper positions.
- When grounding this unit, be sure to do so correctly, so as not to defeat the built-in grounding in this unit.
- Before placing, installing, rigging, or suspending any product, inspect all hardware, suspension, cabinets, transducers, brackets, and associated equipment for damage. Any missing, corroded, deformed, or non-load-rated component could significantly reduce the strength of the installation, placement, or array. Any such condition severely reduces the safety of the installation and should be immediately corrected. Use only hardware that is rated for the loading conditions of the installation and any possible short-term, unexpected overloading. Never exceed the rating of the hardware or equipment.

To get the most from our PDA4BU, it is recommended that you review all of the information provided in the instruction manual before operating the equipment.
FRONT & BACK PANEL
- USB PORT/SD CARD SLOT: After inserting a USB flash drive/SD Card into the input terminal, be sure to set the input selector (16) to DIGITAL/LINE/MP3/BT, then press the mode button to choose between audio from the USB port, SD Card input, Line, Optical, Coaxial, Bluetooth or FM radio.
- LED DISPLAY SCREEN: To display the input sources and track time information
- CONTROL BUTTONS
- MODE BUTTON: Press this button to select one of the play modes with USB/SD mode, FM mode and Bluetooth mode, Optical mode, or Coaxial Mode, automatically set in Bluetooth mode after turning on the unit.
STEPS FOR CONNECTING WITH WIRELESS BT DEVICE
- Press the MODE button to choose Bluetooth mode, and display BLUE on the screen.
- Search on the Bluetooth device name from another Bluetooth device and you can and the Bluetooth name – PDA4BU.
- Select the PDA4BU Bluetooth name and wait for the device to pair.
- The PDA4BU will emit a noise coming that the devices have successfully paired
- Once paired you can play music from your Bluetooth device. You can also use the control buttons on the unit to select the tracks from your Bluetooth device.
- REPEAT BUTTON: This button allows you to play the music in repeat mode (All or Single mode)
* ALL – All tracks in the USB or SD CARD will be repeated in order without interruption.
* SINGLE – Repeat the track that was currently playing.
2. **PREV BUTTON:** Use this button to select each of the functions depending on these three different modes as below.
* In USB/SD mode, use to select the previous track.
* In FM/BT mode, use to select the previous channel.
* In FM/BT mode, holding this button will decrease the volume.
3. **NEXT BUTTON:** Use this button to select each of the functions depending on these three different modes as below.
* In USB/SD mode, use it to select the next track or folder,
* In FM/BT mode, use it to select the next channel.
* In FM/ BT mode, holding this button will increase the volume.
4. **PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON:** Each press of the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON causes the operation to change from play to pause or from pause to play in the USB/SD mode or BT mode.
* Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON one time to auto-scan all frequencies
NOTE: The USB input is ONLY meant to connect to a USB flash drive (thumb drive). Connecting an MP3 player or computer directly to the USB flash drive input will result in the unit failing to play the audio from those devices.
- POWER SWITCH: Press this switch to power the unit on and off.
- TALK OVER: TALK OVER for the MIC switch, press this switch to lower the music when using the microphone input.
- HEADPHONE: main speakers will mute after inserting headphone, connector jack 3.5mm.
- MICROPHONE VOLUME CONTROL KNOB: Turn this knob to adjust the volume of the microphone
- MICROPHONE ECHO VOLUME CONTROL KNOB: Turn this knob to adjust the microphone echo volume level.
- MICROPHONE BASS CONTROL KNOB: Turn this knob to adjust the low frequencies of the microphone.
- MICROPHONE TREBLE CONTROL: Turn this knob to adjust the high frequencies of the microphone.
- MICROPHONE INPUTS: KARAOKE or EXTERNAL MIC connects to these jacks.
- MASTER VOLUME KNOB: Turn this knob to adjust the master volume.
- BASS CONTROL KNOB: Turn this knob to adjust the low frequencies of music.
- BASS CONTROL KNOB: Turn this knob to adjust the high frequencies of music.
- BALANCE: Control the volume balance from left to right.
- INPUT SELECTOR: Turn this switch to choose the favorable input source.
- 3.5MM JACK: Connects to an MP3 player or Ipod with 3.5mm Jack.
- REMOTE RECEIVER WINDOW: To receive the remote control signal.
- PHONO AND CD INPUT SELECTOR: A selector that lets you choose the entry Type: CD or phono.
- PHONO INPUT: Signal input, which allows the connection of audio sources with phono level, 2 x RCA connectors.
- CD/DVD INPUT: Signal input: allows Connection of audio sources with Line Level, 2 x RCA connectors.
- LINE OUTPUT: Stereo output, connect the RECORD input, 2 x RCA connectors.
- BT ANTENNA: Please pull the antenna out when using BT input.
- OPTICAL INPUT: Inputs optical digital signal, only support PCM format.
- COAXIAL INPUT: Inputs coaxial digital signal, only support PCM format.
- SPEAKER OUTPUT: Connect your speaker system to these terminals.
- FM ANTENNA CONNECTOR: Connect for FM antenna.
- POWER VOLTAGE SELECTOR: 115V/230V power supply input selector.
- POWER SUPPLY CABLE: Connect to AC 115V/60Hz & 230V/50Hz outlet.
Remote Control
- Press this button to turn on the MP3.
- When in FM mode, press these two buttons to select the previous or next station.
- Press these two buttons to select the previous or next track in USB or SD or BT mode.
- Volume up or down
- Press the numbers to select the tracks directly. The Unit takes 1-2 seconds to response
- Press this button to select the different repeat modes.
- Press this button to select the playing mode, such as USB/SD/FM/BT/LINE/OPTICAL/COAXIAL
