Before cutting, drilling, or hammering, verify their location. If needed,
consult an electrician, plumber, or service person.
WARNING: During installation, avoid overreaching and overextending while on a ladder to prevent potential falls.
CAUTION: Wear protective eyewear during installation to avoid potential eye hazards.
Assembly Instructions

Locate the desired position for the first vertical Post (A) on the exposed wall joist. Mark the location and drill a small pilot hole (1/8 in). Use a screw (AA) to secure the top-hole position of the Post (A) to the wall joist. Note: Do not fully tighten the screw and allow for swinging side to side.
Hardware Used: AA ST5 x 40 mm Screw (1) -
With only the top screw in place, rotate the Post (A) 90 degrees in the desired direction. Place a level on the top of the Post (A) and ensure it is level. Mark the spot on the new joist using the bottom hole of the Post (A). Drill a small pilot hole (1/8 in) in this location.
Hardware Used: AA ST5 x 40 mm Screw (9)
Tighten the screws (AA) for each hole on both Posts (A).

Place Left Brackets (C) onto the Post (A) as shown in the picture. Use a hammer to hit the Brackets (C) down and secure them.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Locate the desired position for the first vertical Post (A) on the exposed wall joist. Mark the location and drill a small pilot hole (1/8 in). Using the top-hole position of the Post (A), use a screw (AA) and screw it in place to the wall joist.
NOTE : Make sure it is NOT fully tightened in place and allows for swinging side to side.
Hardware Used -
With only the top screw in place, rotate the Post (A) 90 degrees in the desired direction. Place a level on the top of the Post (A), that has been rotated 90- degrees.
Note: Make sure it is level and that the bottom hole of the Post (A) is on-center with the new joist. Mark the spot on the new joist using the bottom hole of the Post (A). Drill a small pilot hole (1/8 in) in this location. -
Tighten the screws (AA) for each hole on both Posts (A). Hardware Used

Place Left Brackets (C) onto the Post (A) as the installation procedure by the picture showing. Using the Hammer hit the Brackets (C) down, ensure the hook touching tightens to the Post (A) as shown, same to the Right Brackets (D).
NOTE: You can adjust the Bracket distance as needed. -
Place Shelf (B) onto the Brackets (C & D) as the installation procedure by the picture showing. Secure the Shelf (B) to the Brackets (C & D) using Bolt (BB) and Washer (CC) tightened by a Phillips Screwdriver.

Place K Steel Rail (E) onto the Post (A) using the Hammer hit the K Steel Rail
(E) down, ensure the Rail touching tighten to the Post (A) as shown. NOTE: You can adjust the Rail distance as needed. -
Place 6-in Post Hook (F) onto the Post (A) using the Hammer hit the 6-in Post Hook (F) down, and ensure the Hook touching tightens to the Post (A) as shown.
NOTE: The hook height can be adjusted as needed. -
Place 4-in K Rail Hook (G), 6-in Double-head K Rail Hook (H) and

in Single-head K Rail Hook (I) onto the K Steel Rail (E), ensure the Hook touching tightens to the K Steel Rail (E) as shown.

Same to the other Shelf System Set as above process. Hardware Used
NOTE: Before installation, lay tools and components on a table or flat
surface.
IMPORTANT: Using extreme caution, test the unit immediately after proper
installation with a light load to double check unit is secured to the wall
joint.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Shelves are hard to be placed onto the Brackets. The mounting Post distance is more than 32-in. Re-locate post distance mounting post distance to be 32-in as required. Follow extreme caution when loading and unloading items from the KOBALT 20 PC Modular Wall Organizer. Weight load capacity is up to 150 lb per shelf evenly distributed; 150 lb per feet for K Steel Rail; 50-lb for 6-in Post Hook, 25-lb for 4-in K Rail Hook, 25-lb for 6-in Double-head K Rail Hook, and 5-lb for 6-in Single-head K Rail Hook.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
On an annual basis, it is recommended to double-check all connections and re- tighten all nuts and bolts. Clean with water and a paper or cloth towel as needed.
