Product Information
The DCSEC 5MP 180 Degree Wide Angle IP Camera is a high-resolution
surveillance camera that offers a wide-angle view.
It is designed for various usage scenarios and can be viewed through different
devices such as NVR, PC using VMS software, and smart devices using the
P6SLite APP. Please read this user manual carefully before using the product.

Usage Instructions
Based on different usage scenarios, there are three types of device which can view IP camera video: View in NVR(Network Video Recorder), View in PC by VMS(Video Management System) Software, View in smart devices(smartphone and tablet devices) by P6SLite APP.
Viewing IP Camera in NVR

Note:
- If your NVR is a PoE NVR, it is recommended to connect the camera directly to the PoE NVR without using a power adapter, as the PoE can supply power.
- The default IP camera user account is admin/blank.
- The settings may vary depending on the NVR brand and model. Please refer to the NVR user manual for adding IP cameras.
Instructions:
- Connect the IP camera to the same LAN network as the NVR.
- In the NVR menu, go to the IP Camera menu.
- In the IP Camera settings page:
- Click the “Search Device” button to search for IP camera devices in the same LAN network. Wait for a few seconds, and the IP cameras will be displayed in the searched devices section.
- Select the searched devices and click the “Add Device” button to add them to the NVR.
- If the camera is not shown in the search device list, use the EasyVMS software on a PC to find the Camera IP address and manually add it to the NVR using the IP address.
- After adding the camera, wait for a few seconds until the device status shows a successful connection.
- Go back to the NVR monitoring page, and you will see the camera video there. You can perform recording and playback functions in the NVR.
Viewing IP Camera in PC by EasyVMS Software

Note:
- The default user account for EasyVMS software is admin/blank.
- The default user account for the IP camera is admin/blank.
- The device discovery only supports 2.4G wireless and does not support 5G. When searching for new IP cameras, ensure that the configure PC or smart devices are connected to a 2.4G wifi network or connected with a wired network cable.
Instructions:
- Connect the IP camera to the same LAN network as your PC.
- To install EasyVMS software:
- Copy the EasyVMS software from the package CD-ROM to your PC, or download it from this link: https://bit.ly/3V2eJv2.
- After downloading, double click the EasyVMS_vx.x.x.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the VMS software.
- To search and add IP camera to VMS:
- Double click the EasyVMS icon to run it, select the language and input your username and password to login.
- In EasyVMS software, go to Device Manage page, click Refresh button to search IP Camera in this LAN network, then select the IP cameras in Active devices in Lan section, click Add batch button to add it to the device list in upper section; In the pop up windows, you can set the alias name for each of the IP camera.
* If the camera was not shown in search list, you can manually add it by the DID, which is is printed on the QR Code barcode, normally it is started with “IOT” and seperate with 3 part of 5-6 digits or characters, eg, IOTxxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxx, shown as below image; After finding the DID number, in EasyVMS software, go to Device Manage page, click Manually Add button, in the pop-up window, set a Device alias, select Protocol as ZWP2P, and input the DID number, input Device account and password, click OK, then you will be able to see this camere in this VMS software.![DCSEC DC-IP180SDVIRH 180 Degree Surveillance Security Camera 9](https://manuals.plus/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/DCSEC-DC-IP180SDVIRH-180-Degree-Surveillance-Security-Camera-9.png)
- After adding IP cameras to EasyVMS, go to the Live page, and you will see the camera video there. You can perform recording and playback functions in EasyVMS.
- To find the camera IP address, select the right camera window in the Live page, right-click, and select “Remote config” to access the camera setting page. In Remote Setting windows, go to Network Configuration – Network Setting page, then you will see the camera IP address there.
View IP camera in smart devices by P6SLite app

Note:
- The IP camera default user account is admin/blank;
- The device discovery is only support 2.4G wireless, does NOT support 5G. When searching the new IP cameras, the configure PC or smart devices must be connected to 2.4G wifi network, or connected with wired network cable.
- This IP camera does not support SD card recording, please use NVR or VMS software to record.

Connect IP camera to network;

P6SLite App installation: Search P6SLite in Google Play store for Android devices or search in AppStore for iOS devices, then download and install the P6SLite app to your smart devices;

Add IP camera to P6SLite App:

Run P6Slite app, register an account by Email or phone number, then login by your account, click Add Device button or click the scan button in up-right corner, then system will go to QR code scan page. Find the QR code in the barcode label which is pasted on the product or package box, scan the QR code to add this IP Camera to device list.

If you can not find the QR code or the QR code is not clear for scan, click the button which is below the QR code scan window, then it will go to manually adding page, select Wired network equipment, manually input the DID serial number, or click search button to search IP cameras in the same LAN network with your smart devices, then select the IP camera in pop up windows and add it to this App;

After adding, you will be able to view the IP camera video in the P6SLite app, and you can click the Voice button to monitor the audio which is captured by IP camera. In app main page, you can click Setting button to do some settings for the IP camera, eg, IP address setting, camera password setting, etc.

FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions):

Q: How to know the camera is connected well?
A: Check the LED indicator light in camera’s network connector. If it is light on and flashing, then means it is connected well. -
Q: Why the video is not clear in EasyVMS?
A: In default, it is SD stream of the video, which can reduce the network occupation. You can right click the video, select Definition, set it to Main stream, then it will show the HD Stream. -
Q: Can I set a fixed static IP to the IP Camera?
A: Yes, can. You can set it in EasyVMS software or P6SLite app.- In EasyVMS software, after adding the IP camera to EasyVMS, right click the camera video in Live page, select Remote Config, then it will pop up camera setting window, navigate to Network Configuration — Network Setting, then you will find the IP address setting section there.
- In P6SLite, after adding the IP camera, in device list page, find the IP camera, and click the Setting button, in Edit Device page, click more, then you will find Wired Network Settings menu, and you can set the IP address there.
