The exhaust must be well-maintained. Any reduction in diameter or mistake in the exhaust will reduce th~ capacity and increase the noise level.

  • Do not reduce the exhaust diameter.
  • Make the exhaust as short as possible and with as few bends as possible.
  • Ensure the curves are gentle
  • Use smooth, non-combustible pipes; pull out flexible pipes as much as possible and cut to size
  • Use the aluminium foil tape 906.292 and hose clip 906.291 to ensure airtight seals
  • Use the Novy wall exhaust cover 906.178
  • Use a roof feedthrough with sufficient capacity
  • It must never be attached to a heating chimney, it must only be attached to a ventilation chimney
  • Flat pipes: the surface area of a flat pipe must be equivalent to 0 150 mm = 177 cm2
  • Ensure the provision of sufficient ventilation (supply opening, grille in window or door)
