Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the Maxima toaster, please read the user manual carefully.
  2. Ensure the toaster is placed on a stable and flat surface.
  3. Connect the toaster to a suitable power outlet with the provided power cord.
  4. Select the desired number of slots to use based on your needs (4 slots for MT-4 or 6 slots for MT-6).
  5. Turn on the toaster using the power switch.
  6. Place the bread slices or other food products you want to toast into the slots.
  7. Adjust the timer according to your desired level of toasting. The toaster will automatically stop when the timer reaches zero.
  8. Wait for the toaster to complete the toasting process.
  9. Once the toasting is finished, carefully remove the toasted items using the provided handle or tongs.
  10. After use, turn off the toaster and unplug it from the power outlet.
  11. Clean the toaster regularly following the cleaning and maintenance instructions provided in the user manual.

The Maxima toaster can be used to toast different food products. The machines are safe, stable and easy-to-use. This appliance can be used for example to toast frozen or fresh bread. All parts in contact with food are made of stainless steel or food grade plastics.

Safety regulations

  • Incorrect operation and improper use of the appliance can seriously damage the appliance and injure users.
  • The appliance may only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and designed. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.
  • This appliance may only be used to toast food.
  • Be careful not to burn yourself at the appliance.
  • Warning! Do not touch the heating elements during the use of the appliance.
  • Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and any other liquids. In the unlikely event that the appliance should fall into water, immediately pull the plug out of the socket and have the appliance checked by a certified technician. Not following these instructions could give rise to life-threatening situations.
  • Never try to open the casing of the appliance yourself.
  • Do not insert any objects in the casing of the appliance.
  • Do not place any objects on top of the appliance.
  • Do not place the appliance on its side or upside down, also not while the appliance is being transported. Do not turn the appliance in an angle of more than 45°.
  • Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
  • Regularly check the plug and cord for any damage. When the plug or cord is damaged, you should have it repaired by a certified repair company.
  • Do not use the appliance after it has fallen or is damaged in any other way. Have it checked and repaired by a certified repair company.
  • Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. This could give rise to life-threatening situations.
  • Make sure the cord does not come in contact with sharp or hot objects and keep it away from open fire. To pull the plug out of the socket, always pull on the plug and not on the cord.
  • Make sure that no one can accidentally pull the cord loose or trip over the cord.
  • Always keep an eye on the appliance when in use.
  • Never let children use appliances without supervision.
  • Always pull the plug out of the socket when the appliance is not being used and always before cleaning.

Preparations before using for the first time

  • Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged. In case of any damage, contact your supplier immediately and do NOT use the appliance.
  • Remove all the packing material.
  • Level the appliance.
  • Make sure the appliance is not placed next to any sources that radiate heat (for example a heater, stove or oven).
  • Make sure the appliance is placed 10 cm from every other object or walls.
  • Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is accessible at all times.
  • Clean the appliance with luke-warm water and a soft cloth.
  • Follow the steps in chapter ‘Operation’.

Operation

  • Plug the appliance into the main socket.
  • Use the ‘On /Off’ button, which is located on the side of the appliance, to start the appliance. The indicator will start burning.
  • Use the time switch on the control panel at the appliance to set the desired time. The orange indicator will start burning.
  • The appliance will turn off automatically when the time has passed.
  • If needed you can turn off the time switch by hand.
  • When the product is toasted, you can bring up the trays by switching the handle in front of the appliance. Then you can remove the product from the toaster.
  • During the process the crumbs will fall on the plate. You can clean this plate after removing it.
  • Warning! We advice to clean this plate regularly because this is more hygienic.
  • When the appliance is not being used, please remove the plug from the main socket.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Always remove the plug from the socket before any cleaning or maintenance is being done to the appliance.
  • Warning! Let the appliance cool down before any cleaning or maintenance is being done to the appliance. Warning! Do not use any aggressive detergents or scourers, which may cause scratches. Do not use gasoline containing or solvents while cleaning. Make sure no water enters the appliance.
  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent). Dry the appliance after cleaning.
  • The parts of the appliance can cleaned in warm water with soap. Do not put parts in the dishwasher; these detergents might be too aggressive.
