Attention

  1. Before any command from the remote controller, point the remote controller’s signal transmitter towards the receiver of the air conditioner.
  2. The remote controller can operate in range of up to 8 meters from the unit.
  3. Please ensure that there are no obstacles between the remote controller and unit.
  4. Do not hit, drop or throw the remote controller.
  5. Do not leave the remote controller under direct sunlight, or near heating sources.
  6. Please ensure that you use two AAA batteries of the same type.
  7. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
  8. Do not mix used batteries with new.
  9. Always remove the batteries from the remote controller before long-term without use.
  10. If there is no sound of received command from the remote controller / unit and there is no indication of communication between remote controller and unit, please replace the batteries with two new of same type.
  11. If the remote controller’s display resets when a button is pressed, please replace the batteries with two new of same type.
  12. Always properly discard used batteries.

Note:
All the pictures in the manual are for explanatory purposes only.
The actual shape of the unit you purchased may be slightly different (depending on the model).
Cooling-only units do not have the function of E-heating or electric heating. If selected on the remote controller, the unit will not start that operation. Please don’t turn the remote controller to such buttons.

Function buttons

Note:
You can operate the buttons on the cover only when the cover is closed.

1. “ON/OFF” button
Press the ON/OFF button to start or stop the unit.
By turning off the unit, functions of Timer and Sleep are deactivated as well.
2. “SPEED” button
Press the SPEED button to select the fan speed.
Fan speed setting will change as follows:

3. / buttons
Press the button to increase the setting temperature by 0.5°C.
Press the button to decrease the setting temperature by 0.5°C.
The temperature can be changed quickly by pressing the button continuously.
Setting temperature range is 16°C ~ 32°C.
4. “COOL” button
Press the COOL button, the mode of operation is shifted to cooling.
5. “HEAT” button
Press the HEAT button, the mode of operation is shifted to heating.
Note: cooling only unit has no heating function
6. “SWING” buttons (SWING and SWING )
Press the buttons to activate the corresponding swing function (up/down or left/right). To deactivate the corresponding swing function, press the button again.
Up/down (left/right) has memory function per operation mode and will remain if you stop and start the unit.
When selecting the Swing setting for the current operation mode, the other modes’ swing settings will not be affected.

Buttons description

1. “ON/OFF” button
Press the ON/OFF button to start or stop the unit.
By turning off the unit, functions of Timer and Sleep are deactivated as well.
2. “MODE” button
Press the MODE button to select the operation mode
The operation mode will change as below:

Note: cooling-only units have no heating function
3. “SPEED” button
Press the SPEED button to select the fan speed.
Fan speed setting will change as follows:

4. “TURBO” button
Press the TURBO button to activate the turbo function for the fan speed of the unit. The TURBO indication on the remote controller will light. Press again to deactivate the turbo function.
Turbo function can only be set during cooling or heating modes of operation.
5. “SILENCE” button
Press the SILENCE button to activate the silent function.
The SILENCE (SILE) indication on the remote controller will light. Press again to deactivate the silent function.
6. “TIMER” button
While the unit is operating, you can press the TIMER button to set the TIMER OFF function. The TIMER OFF function allows you to set the amount of timer after which the unit will automatically turn off.
While the unit is deactivated, you can press the TIMER button to set the TIMER ON function. The TIMER ON function allows you to set the amount of timer after which the unit will automatically turn on.
After pressing this key once, the indications H and [ ON or OFF depending of setting] will start flashing on the remote controller’s display. While the indicators are flashing, press buttons to adjust the desired time (setting time range is from 0.5 to 24hr). Press the TIMER button once again to complete the setting (the indications on the controller’s display will stop flashing.
If no button is pressed for 10s while timer indicators are flashing, the timer setting will quit.
You can deactivate a set timer setting by pressing TIMER button once.
7. “HEALTH” button
Press the HEALTH button to activate or deactivate the health function (activates/deactivates the unit’s ionizer & UVC function).
8. “SLEEP” button
Press the SLEEP button to activate or deactivate the sleep function
When selecting the Swing setting for the current operation mode, the other modes’ swing settings will not be affected.
When sleep mode is activated, the unit will operate in sleep mode for 10 hours, after which it will continue the last set operation.
If TIMER OFF function has been also set, the unit will turn off automatically according to set timer.
Note: if you press MODE or ON/OFF button, the sleep function will deactivate.
9. “iFEEL” button
Press the iFEEL button to activate the iFEEL function. The display will show the actual room temperature while the function is active and the unit will operate according to the temperature reading near the remote controller (requires the transmitter to point towards the display). When function is deactivated, the display will show the setting temperature. This function cannot be set while the unit operates at FAN mode.
10. “DISPLAY” button
Press the DISPLAY button once to turn off the unit’s display. If you press again, the display will flash for 5s then show ambient temperature and setting temperature.
11. “iCLEAN” button
When the unit is deactivated, press the iCLEAN button to start the iCLEAN function.
The iCLEAN function will start the unit under specific settings in order to remove dust and remaining moisture from the evaporator. This operation should be used often to prevent appearance of mold and smells from residue buildup inside the unit. After starting the iCLEAN function, you can press iCLEAN button or ON/OFF button to quit it.
The iCLEAN function will terminate within an hour automatically.
Note: This function does not substitute proper and regular cleaning and maintenance of the unit.
12. “ELE.H” button (only for hot pump type).
While the unit is operating in heating mode, press the ELE.H button to activate the supplementary electric heating.
13. “Anti-FUNGUS” button
The Anti-FUNGUS function can help prevent appearance of mold and smells from residue buildup inside the unit.
To enable the activation of Anti-FUNGUS function, turn off the unit and remote controller, point the controller to the unit’s display and press and hold the Anti-FUNGUS button. The unit will beep 5 times followed by another 5 beeps, indicating that you can use the Anti-FUNGUS function. To disable the function, repeat the process above (the unit will beep 5 times followed by another 3 beeps).
To activate/deactivate the Anti-FUNGUS function, press the Anti-FUNGUS button once. This function can only be set while the unit operates under cooling, dry and auto (cooling and dry) modes. The function will force the unit to operate for 3 minutes under heating mode (Fan mode for cooling-only units) with low fan speed.
Note: When this function is active, it is suggested to allow the operation to complete.
14. “SPOT SWING” button
By pressing the SPOT SWING button, the horizontal louvers will swing automatically.
Press it again to deactivate it.
15. “ECO” button
Press the ECO button to activate the economic operation of the unit.
While ECO function is activated, the unit will operate under specific settings for optimal power consumption. The ECO function will automatically deactivate after 8 hours.
You can press the ECO button again to manually deactivate the ECO function.
If TIMER OFF function has been also set, the unit will turn off automatically according to set timer.
Note: ECO function can only be activated under cooling operation mode.
16. “iFavor” button
The iFavor button is a shortcut button. You can use the iFavor function to save and quickly return to preferred settings of mode, fan speed, set temperature and swing.
To save the preferred settings, while the unit is operating, select the settings you want (mode, fan speed, set temperature, swing), then press and hold the iFavor button for 3 seconds. The display will flash 3 times when the settings are saved.
The iFavor function can only have one saved setting at any time, if you repeat the process above, the new settings will overwrite the previously saved ones.

To activate the saved iFavor settings, while the unit is operating, press once the iFavor button.

Use of Remote Control

Insert/replace batteries

  1. Open the cover by sliding it as shown above.
  2. Insert two brand new batteries AAA, position the batteries according to electric pole indications (+ & -).
  3. Re-insert the cover by sliding it as shown above.
Automatic operation mode (AUTO)
  1. Press the ON/OFF button for the air conditioner to start operating.

  2. Press the MODE button and select the automatic operation mode ( AUTO ).
    During AUTO mode, the unit will set the temperature and change between cooling, heating and fan modes according to indoor conditions.

  3. Press the SPEED button to set the desired fan speed.
    Available settings for fan speed: LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO.

Cooling/Heating operation mode (cooling-only units do not have heating

mode)

  1. Press the ON/OFF button for the air conditioner to start operating.
  2. Press the MODE button and select cooling or heating operation mode.
  3. Press the or button to set the desired temperature, temperature can be set at 1°C difference, with range from 16°C ~ 32°C.
  4. Press the SPEED button to set the desired fan speed.
  5. Available settings for fan speed: LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO.
Fan operation Mode
  1. Press the ON/OFF button for the air conditioner to start operating.
  2. Press the MODE button and select the Fan operation mode (FAN).
  3. Press the SPEED button to set the desired fan speed.
    Available settings for fan speed: LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO.

Note: While operating under FAN model, temperature setting has no effect

Dry operation mode
  1. Press the ON/OFF button for the air conditioner to start operating.
  2. Press the MODE button and select the Dry operation mode (DRY).
  3. Press the or button to set the desired temperature, temperature can be set at 1°C difference, with range from 16°C ~ 32°C.
  4. Press the SPEED button to set the desired fan speed.
    Available settings for fan speed: LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO.

Note: This manual includes all functions available on the remote controller. Please advise the user manual of the air conditioner to verify if your unit has any specific function.
