OVERVIEW

This thermostat is a new generation thermostat without any physical sensor. Our sensorless technology based on real time weather conditions from application. For normal operation you need to connect the L-1 thermostat with Tuya Smart application on your phone. After connection the thermostat can automatically switch the heating on and off based on weather condition.

AUTO MODE

You can see below the conditions when the thermostat will start heating. For this feature you need to enable auto mode in the app.

  • Temperature <1 °C, and humidity >70% (both two condition required)
  • Light snow
  • Snow
  • Freezing fog
  • Sleet
  • Fog
  • Heavy snow
  • Blizzard
  • Light to moderate snow
  • Light snow shower
  • Moderate snow
  • Snow shower

NOTIFICATION MODE
The application sends notification if the weather conditions justify starting the heating.

PROGRAM MODE
In the application you can set heating schedule for every day of the week.

MANUAL OR OFFLINE MODE
If you don’t want to use your phone to change mode on the thermostat you can do it manually with the touch button. For each touch the thermostat switches to the next mode cyclically.

  • Heating off
  • Heating on
  • Heating on for 1 Hour
  • Heating on for 2 Hours
  • Heating on for 3 Hours
  • Heating on for 4 Hours

INSTALLATION & WIRING DIAGRAM

The thermostat is designed to be flush mounted and requires a back box of 35mm (minimum depth) to be sunk into the wall prior to installation.

ATTENTION!
The thermostat can be placed indoors only!

  1. Using a small screwdriver, slightly loosen the screw from the bottom face of the thermostat. Then carefully separate the front half from the back plate.
  2. Place the thermostat front somewhere safe.
  3. Terminate the thermostat as shown in the diagram.
  4. Screw the thermostat back plate securely into the back box.
  5. Clip the front of the thermostat onto the back plate.
