INTRODUCTION
The Warm Audio ODD Box V1 (Over Drive Disorder) is a hard–clipping, op–amp–based overdrive inspired by an iconic pedalboard staple known for having a “cranked amp” tone. ODD preserves the detail in your playing even at the highest gain settings, effortlessly reproducing the sounds of cranked studio amps, just like the original.
BASIC PEDAL LAYOUT & CONTROLS
1. VOLUME Moving the knob clockwise increases the amount of “master volume” on the pedal.
2. DRIVE Moving the knob clockwise increases the amount of clipping gain, or “distortion” on the pedal.
3. TONE Moving the knob clockwise changes the tone (increasing treble) of the signal directly before hitting the output of the pedal
4. UK/US SWITCH Quickly flip the personality of the ODD. The UK setting
distorts earlier, bumps the upper-mids, and increases volume – giving this
setting more of a cranked, “chimey” amplifier tone. The US setting has a
little more dean headroom, allowing the ODD to act more
like a boost at first, and better oligns with traditional tweed-based “edge of
breakup” amplifier tones.
5. V4” INPUT JACK
6. V4″ OUTPUT JACK
7. 9V DC POWER ADAPTER (CENTER-NEGATIVE) JACK
