• STEP 1: Apply Montagepaste (fitting lubricant) to the screw (Schraube).
  • Ensure the thread locking fluid (Schraubensicherung) is applied to the screw.
  • Use a torque wrench (Drehmoment) to tighten the screw to 3.0 Nm of torque.
  • Clean the brake lever (Bremshebel) using a suitable cleaner (Reiniger).
• STEP 2: Use an original BMW torque wrench to tighten the screw to 6.0 Nm of torque.
  • Clean the brake lever again using a suitable cleaner.
