Product Information

The FM2100 series is a vacuum sealer appliance that helps to keep food fresh up to five times longer than traditional storage methods. It features a Roll Storage for storing the vacuum sealer roll, a Roll Cutter Bar for cutting the bag material to size, an Easy Lock Latch for securing the lid, and a Vacuum Channel for removing air from the bag. The appliance comes with an Accessory Port for using the handheld sealer and hose to vacuum seal containers and zipper bags.

Product Usage Instructions

How to make a FoodSaver bag:

  1. Open the appliance lid and place the vacuum sealer roll into the Roll Storage.
  2. Lift up the Roll Cutter Bar and place the bag material beneath the cutter bar. Pull out enough bag material to hold the item being vacuum sealed, plus 3 inches (7.62 cm).
  3. Lower the Roll Cutter Bar and slide the Bag Cutter across the bar to cut the bag material to size.
  4. Place the bag on the Sealing Strip and move the Easy Lock Latch to the Open position. Open the appliance lid. Insert one end of the bag material across the Sealing Strip.
  5. Close the lid and turn the Easy Lock Latch to Operate position. Press the Seal Button.
  6. When the Seal Indicator Light turns off, sealing is complete. Turn the Latch to Open position, lift lid, and remove bag.FoodSaver FM2100 Series Select Vacuum Sealer-fig-1

VACUUM SEAL A FOODSAVER® BAG:

  1. Place item(s) in bag, allowing at least 3 inches (7.62 cm) of space between bag contents and top of bag.
  2. Open Appliance Lid and place open end of bag into Vacuum Channel (Drip Tray).
  3. Close lid and turn Easy Lock Latch to Operate position.
  4. Press Vacuum & Seal Buttonc to begin vacuum and sealing process. Motor will continue to run until bag is fully vacuumed, then will automatically seal.
  5. When Seal Indicator Light turns off, turn Latch to Open position, lift lid and remove bag. Refrigerate, freeze or store as neededFoodSaver FM2100 Series Select Vacuum Sealer-fig-2

How to vacuum seal food:

  1. Place item(s) in the bag, leaving at least 3 inches (7.62 cm) of space between bag contents and top of the bag.
  2. Open the appliance lid and place the open end of the bag into the Vacuum Channel (Drip Tray).
  3. Close the lid and turn the Easy Lock Latch to Operate position.
  4. Press the Vacuum & Seal Button to begin the vacuum and sealing process. The motor will continue to run until the bag is fully vacuumed, then will automatically seal.
  5. When the Seal Indicator Light turns off, turn the Latch to Open position, lift lid, and remove bag. Refrigerate, freeze or store as needed.

How to vacuum seal containers and zipper bags:

  1. Ensure that the container or zipper bag is clean and dry before vacuum sealing.
  2. Hold the zipper of the bag or place the container valve in the center of the Accessory Port.
  3. Close and latch the lid with finger while the bag is lying down on a flat surface.
  4. Turn the Latch to Operate position.
  5. Insert one end of Accessory Hose into Accessory Port on Appliance. Place Handheld Sealer on zipper bag valve or container valve.
  6. Press Vacuum & Seal Button to begin vacuum and sealing process. To release vacuum and open, turn knob on lid to Open.

VACUUM SEAL FOODSAVER® CONTAINERS: (sold separately)

  1. Prepare FoodSaver® Preserve & Marinate Container according to Guidelines, which are included with container purchase.
  2. Turn Latch to Operate position.
  3. Insert one end of Accessory Hose into Accessory Port on Appliance. Place Handheld Sealer on container valve.
  4. Press Vacuum & Seal Button. To release vacuum and open, turn knob on lid to Open.
