2 For Your Safety
Follow the operating instructions
Read the operating instructions completely before using the appliance. Keep the instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you give the appliance to somebody else, also give them the operating instructions. Non- observance of these instructions can cause severe injuries and damage to the appliance.

Correct use
WARNING: Misuse of the appliance can result in injuries. The appliance is designed solely for the purpose of brewing coffee from roasted, ground or whole coffee beans. Any other use is deemed improper use and can cause personal injuries and damage to the appliance. The appliance is designed for household use or use in a similar environment, e.g. · in kitchens for employees in stores, offices and
other commercial areas; · on agricultural estates; · by customers in hotels, motels and other residential
facilities; · in bed-and-breakfast facilities.
It is not suitable for commercial use, e.g. in the catering industry. The appliance is not designed to be operated with a timer or separate remote control system.

Power
Since the appliance is operated with electrical current, there is a risk of receiving an electric shock. Be sure to follow the precautions mentioned below:
· Only connect the appliance to a properly installed, earthed safety outlet socket (minimum 10 A fuse). Do not use any extension cords or multi-outlet sockets.
· Only operate the appliance if the voltage specified GB on the rating plate matches the voltage of your outlet socket.
· Make sure that the power cord is not kinked or pinched and that the power cord and the appliance do not come in contact with heat sources (e.g. cooking plates, gas flames) or the hotplate.
· When you pull the power cord out of the outlet, always pull directly on the plug. Never carry the appliance by the power cord.
· Never immerse the appliance in water or other fluids, do not clean it under running water, and do not place it in the dishwasher.
· Never touch the power plug with wet hands. · Never operate the appliance outdoors.

· Even when the appliance is switched off, the inside of the appliance is live as long as the power cord is plugged into the outlet socket.
· The appliance is only disconnected from the mains if the power cord is disconnected.
· Disconnect the power plug before you fill the appliance with water.
· Always unplug the appliance from the outlet socket after use.

· Never open the swing-out filter while the coffee maker is in operation.
· The hotplate is hot during and after operation. Never touch the hotplate while the appliance is on. Wait until the hotplate cools down.

Poor hygiene
Bacteria can form in the appliance due to poor hygiene:
· Empty and clean the coffee jug, the filter insert and the permanent filter daily.
· Empty the complete appliance if you are not going to use is for a longer period of time.
· Change the water daily to prevent germ contamination.
· Clean the appliance regularly, “7 Cleaning the appliance” on page 29.
· Descale the appliance regularly, “7.4 Descaling the appliance” on page 31.
The use of improper cleaning agents harbours health risks:
· Only use the cleaning agents and utensils described in these operating instructions to clean the appliance.

Risks for the appliance

Damage can be caused by handling the appliance incorrectly.

· Place the appliance on a dry, level, non-slip, heat-re-

sistant surface which will not react with the rubber feet.

· The device must not be operated in a closed cup-

board.

· Never set up the appliance on a hot surface or near

strong sources of heat.

· Do not allow the power cord to dangle to avoid a

potential trip hazard.

· Only fill the water tank with cold, fresh tap water.

Warm/hot tap water or other liquids can damage the

appliance.

· Do not use caramelised or sugar-coated coffee

beans.

· Do not use unroasted coffee (green, unroasted cof-

fee beans) or mixtures containing unroasted coffee

beans, as they can damage the appliance.

· Do not fill the coffee bean container with ground

coffee.

· Before you stow the appliance, disconnect the pow-

er cord and let the appliance cool off completely.

In case of a defective appliance
A defective appliance can cause material damage and injuries:
· Always check the appliance for damage before use. In the event that you detect damage due to transport, immediately contact the dealer where you have purchased the appliance.
· Never operate a defective appliance. Never operate GB a appliance that has fallen down.
· If the appliance’s power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or their customer service department or a similarly-qualified person to prevent hazards.
· The appliance does not contain any parts that you can repair yourself. Repair work must only be carried out through SEVERIN customer service department (see ” Service Centres” on page 192).

4 Preparing the appliance
1. Remove all protective films and other packaging material from the appliance.
2. Set up the appliance in a place that fulfils the following conditions: · Near a socket outlet with earthing contact (fuse at least 10 A) · Horizontal and free from vibration/shocks · Heat-resistant · Does not react to rubber pads · Away from heated or flammable surfaces and objects (> 1 m) · Away from walls (> 15 cm)
3. Clean the appliance as described under “7.2 Daily cleaning” on page 30.
4. Run water through the appliance as described under “7.3 Running water through the appliance” on page 31.

TIP
A beep is emitted to confirm each button press. These button sounds can be switched off. The beeps emitted after the brewing/warming processes cannot be disabled!

Setting the time
TIP You must first set the time to ensure the programming function works correctly. If you do not wish to use this function you can skip setting the time.
1. Repeatedly press the ” ” button to set the hour. 2. Repeatedly press the ” ” button to set the minutes.
 The time is now set.

Set switch-off time

TIP
The hotplate will remain on for 35 minutes (factory default) after the coffee is prepared. At the end of the heating process you will hear three beeps. The switch-off time can be configured as follows: 0/15/35/45/60 minutes.

1. Press the ” ” button for 2 seconds. You will see 35 flashing on the display.
2. Press the ” ” button repeatedly to set the desired switch-off time. Wait a few seconds. The most recent option displayed will be applied and the switch- off time has been set.

5 Preparing coffee

­ Do not place parts of the body under the drip stop while the appliance is in operation.

Blooming function

TIP

In order to retain a more full-bodied coffee aroma,

the device is equipped with an blooming function.

The coffee grounds are moistened with hot water

TIP
Depending on the settings, the device will switch off 0 to 60 minutes after the coffee is prepared or, if no coffee is made, 1 minute after the last input. To switch it on again, press the ” ” button.

TIP You can interrupt the brewing function at any time by pressing the ” ” button. Water remains in the water tank when you interrupt the brewing function. Empty the water tank by removing the disposable coffee filter or permanent filter from the filter insert, placing the empty coffee jug on the hotplate and continuing operation after pressing the ” ” button followed by the ” “.
5.1 With coffee beans
1. Remove the bean container lid 15 .
CAUTION! Do not use unroasted, caramelised or sugar-coated coffee beans.
2. Add no more than 200 g of coffee beans to the bean container 14 . 3. Replace and firmly press down the lid 15 . 4. Press the “OPEN” button 11 on the side of the appliance to open the
swing-out filter 4 . 5. Place the filter insert 3 in the swing-out filter 4 . 6. Place a disposable coffee filter in the filter insert 3 .
TIP You can also use the permanent filter 2 instead of a disposable coffee filter.
7. Fit the filter ring 1 onto the filter insert 3 . 8. Close the swing-out filter 4 . 9. Remove the coffee jug 5 .

TIP
Fill the coffee jug only up to the required number of cups as all the water is used for brewing. One cup is approx. 125 ml.

10. Fill the coffee jug 5 with cold tap water up to the mark for the required number of cups.

11. Open the water tank 13 .

12. Pour the water into the water tank 13 . Check the water level at the level indicator 9 .

13. Close the water tank 13 .

14. Place the coffee jug 5 on the hotplate 7 .

15. Plug the power plug 8 into the socket. Press the ” ” button. Â The appliance switches on automatically. The time and the current settings are shown on the display.

16. Press the ” ” button to set the number of cups matching the amount of water.

17. Press the ” ” button to set the strength of the coffee:

18. Press the ” ” button.

 The ” ” and ” ” buttons will light up. The appliance starts the

brewing process by initially grinding the coffee beans. The ” ”

symbols appears on the display when the appliance starts brewing

the coffee.

19. Wait until the appliance beeps 3 times and the ” ” symbol goes out. Â The coffee is ready.

TIP
Unless you press the ” ” button after the coffee is made, the coffee will be kept warm for the period defined in ” Set switch-off time” on page 25.

Adjusting the grind

CAUTION!

Adjust the grind only while the appliance is grinding

the coffee beans otherwise the grinder may be

damaged.

TIP A fine grind is recommended for a light roast and a coarse grind for a dark roast. The roast is normally printed on the coffee packaging.
1. Prepare coffee with coffee beans, “5.1 With coffee beans” on page 26.
2. Wait until the appliance grinds the beans.

3. Set the grind regulator 12 to the required grind.
· Turn the regulator clockwise towards “­” to grind the coffee finer. · Turn the regulator anticlockwise towards “+” to grind the coffee
coarser.

5.2 With ground coffee
1. Press the “OPEN” button 11 on the side of the appliance to open the swing- out filter 4 .
2. Place the filter insert 3 in the swing-out filter 4 . 3. Place a disposable coffee filter in the filter insert 3 .

You can also use the permanent filter 2 instead of

a disposable coffee filter.

4. Add the ground coffee to the disposable coffee filter. Use the supplied measuring scoop 6 for this purpose. Refer to the following table for the required amount:

6 Brew programming

7 Cleaning the appliance

CAUTION! If the programme has already been selected and the ” ” button has turned blue, you can no longer modify the programme time, coffee strength or number of cups. To make any changes you need to turn off the programme setting by briefly pressing the ” ” button.
When you program the brewing function, the coffee maker will brew coffee to the programmed settings at the set time.
1. Program the required settings for the brew, “5.1 With coffee beans” on page 26 or “5.2 With ground coffee” on page 28.
2. Press and hold the ” ” button for 2 seconds. Â The time is shown flashing.
3. Repeatedly press the ” ” button to set the hour.
4. Repeatedly press the ” ” button to set the minutes.
5. Press the ” ” button to confirm your entry. Â The current time and ” ” are shown on the display. The ” ” button turns blue. The coffee maker will brew coffee to the programmed settings at the set time.
6. Press the ” ” button again to switch off programmed brewing function. Â The ” ” button turns white. Programmed brewing is switched off.

from the socket and allow the appliance and its components to completely cool down (at least 30 minutes).

7.1 After brewing
1. Make sure that brewing has finished and the appliance has cooled down.
2. Press the “OPEN” button 11 on the side of the appliance to open the swing- out filter 4 .
3. Remove the filter ring 1 .
4. Take out the filter insert 3 together with the permanent filter 2 or disposable coffee filter.
5. Empty the coffee grounds out of the permanent filter 2 into the household waste or throw the disposable coffee filter together with the coffee grounds into the household waste.

6. Rinse out the filter insert 3 and permanent filter 2 under flowing water.
7. Allow the filter insert 3 and permanent filter 2 to dry before placing back into the appliance.

7.2 Daily cleaning
1. Make sure that the appliance is switched off, has cooled down and the power plug 8 is disconnected.
2. Press the “OPEN” button 11 on the side of the appliance to open the swing- out filter 4 .
3. Remove the filter ring 1 . 4. Take out the filter insert 3 together with the permanent filter 2 . 5. Wash the filter insert 3 and the permanent filter 2 in warm water
containing washing up liquid.
TIP The filter ring 1 , permanent filter 2 and filter insert 3 as well as the coffee jug 5 can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
6. Wipe the swing-out filter 4 with warm water containing washing up liquid.
7. Empty the coffee jug 5 . 8. Wash the coffee jug 5 in warm water containing washing up liquid. 9. Wipe the hotplate 7 with a damp cloth. 10. Thoroughly dry all components before placing them back in the appli-
ance.

7.3 Running water through the appliance
1. Make sure there is no filter with coffee grounds in the appliance and the coffee jug 5 is clean.
2. Remove the coffee jug 5 . 3. Fill the coffee jug 5 up to the “10” mark with cold tap water.
CAUTION! To avoid damaging the appliance only fill the water tank with cold tap water.
4. Pour the water into the water tank 13 . 5. Place the coffee jug 5 on the hotplate 7 . 6. Plug the power plug 8 into the socket. Press the ” ” button.
 The appliance switches on automatically.
7. Press the ” ” button. Â The ” ” button turns blue and indicates that the grinder is switched off.
8. Press the ” ” button. Â The ” ” and ” ” buttons will light up. The water heats up and runs through the appliance. Wait until the appliance beeps 3 times and the ” ” symbol goes out.
9. Press the ” ” button to switch off the hotplate 7 . 10. Empty and clean the coffee jug 5 .

7.4 Descaling the appliance

All hot water devices need descaling depending on the water hardness and how often the device is used. Warranty claims cannot be made for a device that is not functioning due to a failure to descale it properly.

The device is equipped with a descale reminder after 200 brew cycles. All the indicators on the display will flash at this point. Descaling should then be carried out as soon as possible. If the drinking water is very hard, you will need to descale the device earlier. If the brewing time increases or the device becomes noisier, this is a sure sign that the coffee machine needs to be descaled.

The descale reminder will disappear once the device has been descaled and

has gone through two rinsing cycles or three coffee brewing cycles.

1. Make sure there is no filter with coffee grounds in the appliance and the coffee jug 5 is clean.

2. Remove the coffee jug 5 .

3. Fill the coffee jug 5 up to the “10” mark with cold tap water.

4. Pour the water into the water tank 13 .

5. Pour 80 ml of vinegar into the water tank 13 .

6. Place the coffee jug 5 on the hotplate 7 .

7. Plug the power plug 8 into the socket. Press the ” ” button. Â The appliance switches on automatically.

8. Press the ” ” button. Â The ” ” button turns blue and indicates that the grinder is switched off.

9. Press the ” ” button. Â The ” ” and ” ” buttons will light up. The entire water/vinegar solution runs through the appliance. Wait until the appliance beeps 3 times and the ” ” symbol goes out.

Utilisation correcte
AVERTISSEMENT : Une utilisation incorrecte de l’appareil peut provoquer des blessures.
L’appareil est uniquement prévu pour la préparation de café à partir de grains torréfiés, moulus ou non moulus. Toute autre utilisation est considérée comme non conforme et peut entraîner des blessures et un endommagement de l’appareil.
L’appareil est réservé à l’usage domestique et à d’autres fins similaires, par exemple : · dans les cuisines pour les employés dans les
commerces, les bureaux et autres zones commerciales ; · sur les domaines agricoles ; · par des clients dans les hôtels, motels et autres hébergements ; · dans les chambres d’hôtes.
Il n’est pas approprié pour l’usage industriel, par exemple dans les grandes cuisines d’entreprises.
L’appareil n’est pas conçu pour fonctionner avec une minuterie ou un système de commande à distance (télécommande) séparé.

Courant
Étant donné que l’appareil fonctionne au courant électrique, il existe un risque d’électrocution. Respectez impérativement les précautions suivantes :
· Ne raccordez l’appareil que directement à une prise à contact de protection installée de façon réglementaire (fusible 10 A minimum). N’utilisez pas de rallonge ou de prise multiple.
· Utilisez l’appareil uniquement si la tension indiquée FR sur la plaque signalétique correspond à la tension de votre prise.
· Veillez à ne pas plier ni coincer le câble de raccordement et à ne pas mettre en contact l’appareil ou le câble de raccordement avec des sources de chaleur (p. ex. plaques chauffantes, flammes) ou la plaque chauffante.
· Lorsque vous débranchez la fiche de la prise, tirez toujours directement sur la fiche de secteur. Ne portez pas l’appareil par le câble de raccordement.

Risque de brûlure
L’appareil chauffe l’eau et la maintient à température. Il en résulte un risque de brûlure.
· Une sortie encrassée peut provoquer la projection de liquides ou de vapeur brûlants. Veillez à garder la sortie propre en permanence.
· N’ouvrez pas la porte du filtre pendant que l’appareil est en marche.
· La plaque chauffante est brûlante pendant le fonctionnement. N’y touchez pas. Attendez que la plaque ait refroidi après l’utilisation.

Manque d’hygiène
Le manque d’hygiène peut encourage la formation d’agents pathogènes dans l’appareil :
· Videz et nettoyez chaque jour la verseuse, le portefiltre et le filtre permanent.
· Videz complètement l’appareil si vous ne l’utilisez pas pendant une période prolongée.
· Changez l’eau chaque jour pour éviter la formation de germes.
· Nettoyez l’appareil régulièrement, « 7 Nettoyage de l’appareil » à la page 45.
· Détartrez l’appareil régulièrement, « 7.4 Détartrage de l’appareil » à la page 47.
L’utilisation de produits de nettoyage incorrecte peut entraîner des risques pour la santé :
· Utilisez exclusivement les produits et ustensiles de nettoyage décrit dans le présent mode d’emploi pour nettoyer votre appareil.

Dangers pour l’appareil
Une manipulation incorrecte de l’appareil peut entraîner des dommages matériels :
· Placez l’appareil sur une surface sèche, plane, antidérapante, résistant à la chaleur et qui ne réagit pas non plus avec les pieds de caoutchouc.
· Vous ne devez pas utiliser l`appareil dans une armoire fermée
· Ne posez pas l’appareil sur une surface chaude ou FR à proximité de sources intenses de chaleur.
· Ne laissez pas pendre le câble de raccordement. Il présente un risque de chute.
· Versez uniquement de l’eau fraîche du robinet dans le réservoir d’eau. De l’eau courante chaude ou brûlante ou d’autres liquides pourraient endommager l’appareil.
· N’utilisez pas de grains de café caramélisés ou recouverts de sucre.
· N’utilisez pas de café brut (grains verts non torréfiés) ou de mélange en contenant. Ils pourraient endommager l’appareil.
· Ne versez jamais de café en poudre dans le réservoir à grains.

· Avant de ranger l’appareil, débranchez-le et laissez-le refroidir complètement.
En cas de défectuosité de l’appareil
Un appareil défectueux peut provoquer des dommages matériels et des blessures :Ta
· Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez que l’appareil n’est pas endommagé. Si vous constatez des dégâts dus

4 Préparation de l’appareil
1. Retirez tout film ou matériel d’emballage de l’appareil.

La machine comporte une fonction blooming pour un café à l`arôme intact. Le café moulu est humidifié avec de l’eau chaude avant la préparation. La mouture peut gonfler, ce qui intensifie le goût du café.

CONSEIL En fonction de vos réglages, lappareil séteint entre 0 et 60 minutes après la préparation du café ou, en l`absence de préparation, 1 minute après la dernière saisie. Pour le rallumer, appuyer sur la touche « ».
CONSEIL Vous pouvez interrompre la préparation à tout moment en appuyant sur la touche « ». Lorsque vous interrompez la préparation, de l’eau reste dans le réservoir. Pour le vider, retirez le filtre à usage unique ou le filtre permanent du porte-filtre, placez la verseuse vide sur la plaque chauffante et relancez la préparation en appuyant sur la touche « », puis sur la touche « ».
5.1 avec du café en grains
1. Retirez le couvercle du réservoir 15 .
ATTENTION ! N’utilisez pas de grains de café non torréfiés, caramélisés ou recouverts de sucre.
2. Versez au maximum 200 g de grains dans le réservoir 14 . 3. Remettez le couvercle 15 en place et enfoncez-le fermement. 4. Appuyez sur la touche « OPEN » 11 sur le côté de l’appareil pour ouvrir

Adaptation du degré de mouture
REMARQUE : Pour éviter d’endommager le mécanisme du broyeur, ces réglages doivent être faits pendant la mouture.
CONSEIL Pour une torréfaction claire, il est recommandé de régler un degré de mouture fin ; pour une torréfaction foncée, un degré de mouture plus grossier sera optimal. La plupart du temps, le niveau de torréfaction est imprimé sur l’emballage du café.
1. Préparez un café avec du café en grains, « 5.1 avec du café en grains » à la page 42.
2. Attendez que l’appareil commence à moudre le grain.

6 Programmation de la préparation
ATTENTION ! Au moment de la préparation, l’appareil doit être correctement assemblé, sans quoi vous pourriez l’endommager.
CONSEIL Lorsque vous avez choisi le programme et que la touche « » sallume en bleu, vous ne pouvez plus changer ni lheure programmée, ni l`intensité du café, ni le nombre de tasses. Pour faire des modifications, désactiver la programmation en appuyant brièvement sur la touche « ».
Lorsque vous programmez la préparation, la machine à café prépare le café en une fois à l’heure réglée avec les réglages existants.

1. Définissez les réglages souhaités pour la préparation, « 5.1 avec du café en grains » à la page 42 ou « 5.2 avec du café en poudre » à la page 44.

2. Maintenez la touche « » enfoncée pendant 2 secondes. Â L’affichage de l’heure se met à clignoter.

3. Appuyez à plusieurs reprise sur la touche « » pour régler les heures.

4. Appuyez à plusieurs reprise sur la touche « » pour régler les minutes.

5. Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche « PROG » pour confirmer votre saisie.

 L’heure actuelle réapparaît et « » s’affiche. La touche « »

s`allume en bleu. La machine à café prépare le café à l’heure

7 Nettoyage de l’appareil

7.1 Après la préparation
1. Assurez-vous que la préparation est terminée et que l’appareil a refroidi. 2. Appuyez sur la touche « OPEN » 11 sur le côté de l’appareil pour ouvrir
la porte du filtre 4 . 3. Retirez le joint de filtre 1 . 4. Sortez le porte- filtre 3 avec le filtre permanent 2 ou le filtre à usage
unique. 5. Jetez le marc de café du filtre permanent 2 ou le filtre à usage unique
avec le marc dans les ordures ménagères. 6. Rincez le porte-filtre 3 et le filtre permanent 2 sous l’eau froide.

7. Laissez le porte-filtre 3 et le filtre permanent 2 sécher avant de les réinstaller dans l’appareil.
7.2 Nettoyage quotidien
1. Vérifiez que l’appareil est éteint, refroidi et que la fiche secteur 8 est débranchée.
2. Appuyez sur la touche « OPEN » 11 sur le côté de l’appareil pour ouvrir la porte du filtre 4 .
3. Retirez le joint de filtre 1 . 4. Sortez le porte-filtre 3 avec le filtre permanent 2 . 5. Nettoyez le porte-filtre 3 et le filtre permanent 2 avec de l’eau
chaude additionnée de liquide vaisselle.
CONSEIL Le joint de filtre 1 , le filtre permanent 2 et le porte-filtre 3 peuvent être nettoyés au lave-vaisselle, de même que la verseuse 5 .
6. Nettoyez la porte du filtre 4 avec de l’eau chaude additionnée de liquide- vaisselle.
7. Videz la verseuse 5 . 8. Lavez la verseuse 5 avec de l’eau chaude additionnée de liquide-vais-
selle. 9. Essuyez la plaque chauffante 7 avec un chiffon humide. 10. Séchez parfaitement tous les composants en profondeur avant de les
remettre en place.

7.3 Rinçage de l’appareil
1. Assurez-vous qu’il ne reste pas de filtre avec des restes de café dans l’appareil et que la verseuse 5 est propre.
2. Retirez la verseuse 5 . 3. Remplissez la verseuse 5 avec de l’eau courante froide jusqu’au
marquage « 10 ».
ATTENTION ! Remplissez uniquement l’appareil avec de l’eau courante froide pour éviter d’endommager l’appareil.
4. Versez l’eau dans le réservoir 13 . 5. Placez la verseuse 5 sur la plaque chauffante 7 . 6. Branchez la fiche secteur 8 dans la prise de courant.Appuyez sur la
touche « ». Â L’appareil se met en marche.
7. Appuyez sur la touche « ». Â La touche « » sallume en bleu et indique que le moulin est éteint. 8\. Appuyez sur la touche « ». Â La touche « » et le symbole « » séclairent. L’appareil chauffe toute l’eau et la fait couler. Attendez que l’appareil émette 3 bips et que le symbole « » s’éteigne.
9. Appuyez sur la touche « » pour éteindre la plaque chauffante 7 . 10. Videz et nettoyez la verseuse 5 .

7.4 Détartrage de l’appareil

Tous les appareils qui permettent de chauffer de leau doivent être détartrés plus ou moins régulièrement en fonction de la teneur en calcaire de leau et de la fréquence de leur utilisation. Vous ne pouvez pas faire jouer la garantie si votre appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement parce que vous ne l`avez pas suffisamment détartré.

L`appareil est configuré de façon à vous rappeler de le détartrer après que

vous aurez chauffé 200 fois de l`eau. Tous les affichages clignoteront alors.

Vous devrez alors détartrer rapidement lappareil. Si leau potable contient

beaucoup de calcaire, vous devez la détartrer plus souvent. Si le café met

plus longtemps à chauffer ou si vous constatez que la machine fait plus de

bruit, vous devez absolument la détartrer.

Le rappel s`éteint une fois que vous avez détartré la machine et que vous

l`avez rincée deux fois ou que vous avez fait chauffer trois fois du café.

1. Assurez-vous qu’il ne reste pas de filtre avec des restes de café dans l’appareil et que la verseuse 5 est propre.

2. Retirez la verseuse 5 .

3. Remplissez la verseuse 5 avec de l’eau courante froide jusqu’au marquage « 10 ».

4. Versez l’eau dans le réservoir 13 .

5. Ajoutez 80 ml de vinaigre de vin dans le réservoir d’eau 13 .

6. Placez la verseuse 5 sur la plaque chauffante 7 .

7. Branchez la fiche secteur 8 dans la prise de courant.Appuyez sur la touche « ».
 L’appareil se met en marche.

8. Appuyez sur la touche « ». Â La touche « » s`allume en bleu et indique que le moulin est éteint.

9. La touche « » et le symbole « » s`éclairent. La LED à côté de la touche « » s’allume. L’appareil fait couler la solution eau-vinaigre. Attendez que l’appareil émette 3 bips et que le symbole « » s’éteigne.
10. Appuyez sur la touche « » pour éteindre la plaque chauffante 7 . 11. Rincez deux fois votre appareil, « 7.3 Rinçage de l’appareil » à la
page 47, pour éliminer le reste de solution eau-vinaigre.
7.5 Nettoyage de la surface
Nettoyez la surface de l’appareil avec un chiffon non pelucheux humide.

2 Voor uw veiligheid
Gebruiksaanwijzing in acht nemen
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing volledig door, voordat u het apparaat gebruikt. Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing goed. Indien u het apparaat aan derden geeft, geef dan ook de gebruiksaanwijzing mee. Het niet in acht nemen van de gebruiksaanwijzing kan tot zwaar letsel of schade aan het apparaat leiden.

Gevaren voor bepaalde personen

· Dit apparaat kan door personen met verminderde fysieke, sensorische of mentale vaardigheden of gebrek aan ervaring en/of gebrekkige kennis gebruikt worden, als er toezicht op hen gehouden wordt door een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of als zij in het veilige gebruik van het apparaat geïnstrueerd zijn en de daaruit resulterende gevaren begrepen hebben.
· Dit apparaat mag niet door kinderen gebruikt worden. Het apparaat en het netsnoer ervan moeten buiten het bereik van kinderen gehouden worden.

Correct gebruik
WAARSCHUWING: Misbruik van het apparaat leidt tot letsel.
Het apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor de bereiding van koffie van gebrande, gemalen of ongemalen koffiebonen. Elk ander gebruik geldt als verkeerd gebruik en kan leiden tot lichamelijk letsel of materiële schade.
Het apparaat is bedoeld voor gebruik in huishouden en dergelijke omgevingen, zoals:
· in keukens voor werknemers in winkels, kantoren en andere bedrijfssectoren;
· in landbouwbedrijven; · door klanten in hotels, motels en andere accommo-
daties; · in bed-and-breakfasts.
Het is niet geschikt voor commercieel gebruik, bijv. in bedrijfskeukens.
Het apparaat is er niet voor bedoeld, om gebruikt te worden met een tijdschakelklok of een afzonderlijk afstandsbedieningssysteem (afstandsbediening).

Stroom

Omdat het apparaat met elektrische stroom bediend wordt, bestaat het gevaar van een stroomstoot. Neem in ieder geval de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen:

· Sluit het apparaat alleen direct op een volgens de

voorschriften geïnstalleerd veiligheidsstopcontact

aan (beveiliging min. 10 A). Gebruik geen verleng-

snoeren of stekkerdozen.

· Gebruik het apparaat alleen, wanneer de op het

typeplaatje aangegeven spanning met de spanning

van uw stopcontact overeenkomt.

· Let erop dat de netkabel niet geknikt of geklemd

wordt en dat de netkabel en het apparaat niet met

warmtebronnen (bijv. kookplaten, vuur) of de ver-

warmingsplaat in aanraking komen.

· Als u de netstekker uit het stopcontact trekt, trek

dan altijd direct aan de netstekker. Draag het appa-

raat niet aan de netkabel.

· Dompel het apparaat nooit in water of andere vloei-

stoffen, reinig het niet onder stromend water en zet

het niet in de vaatwasser.

· Raak de netstekker nooit met natte handen aan.

· Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buitenlucht.

· Ook bij een uitgeschakeld apparaat is er in het

apparaat spanning aanwezig, zolang de netstekker

in het stopcontact zit.

· Het apparaat is alleen van het stroomnet gescheiden,

als de netstekker uit het stopcontact getrokken is.

· Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact, voordat u

water in het apparaat vult

· Trek na elk gebruik de netstekker uit het stopcontact.

· Trek in geval van gevaar of in geval van een defect

onmiddellijk de netstekker uit het stopcontact. Houd

daarom het stopcontact waarin de netstekker van

het apparaat zit altijd goed toegankelijk.

· Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact, voordat

u het apparaat reinigt, verzorgt, uit elkaar haalt of

in elkaar zet.

· Schroef het apparaat nooit los en voer geen techni-

sche veranderingen uit.

Verbrandingsgevaar
Het apparaat verwarmt water en houdt dit warm. Daardoor ontstaat verbrandingsgevaar. · Een verontreinigde uitloop kan hete vloeistof of damp
rondspuiten. Let erop, dat de uitloop schoon is.

· Open de filterdeur niet tijdens het bedrijf. · De verwarmingsplaat is tijdens en na het bedrijf
heet. Raak de verwarmingsplaat niet aan als het apparaat in bedrijf is. Wacht na het gebruik tot de verwarmingsplaat is afgekoeld.
Gebrekkige hygiëne
Door gebrekkige hygiëne kunnen kiemen zich in het apparaat vormen:
· Leeg en reinig de koffiekan, het filterinzetstuk en het permanente filter dagelijks.
· Leeg het apparaat als u het niet langer gebruikt. · Ververs het water dagelijks, om de vorming van
kiemen te voorkomen. · Reinig het apparaat regelmatig, “7 Apparaat
reinigen” op pagina 61. · Ontkalk het apparaat regelmatig, “7.4 Apparaat
ontkalken” op pagina 63. Het gebruik van verkeerde reinigingsmiddelen zorgt voor gezondheidsrisico’s:
· Gebruik uitsluitend de in deze gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven reinigingsmiddelen en -gereedschappen voor de reiniging van uw apparaat.

Gevaren voor het apparaat
Door verkeerde hantering van het apparaat kan schade ontstaan:
· Plaats het apparaat op een droog, effen, antislip, hittebestendig oppervlak, dat bovendien niet met de rubberen voeten reageert.
· Het apparaat mag niet in een gesloten kast worden gebruikt.
· Plaats het apparaat niet op een heet oppervlak of in de buurt van sterke warmtebronnen.
· Laat de netkabel niet hangen. Daardoor ontstaat struikelgevaar.
· Vul de watertank uitsluitend met koud, vers leidingwater. Warm resp. heet leidingwater of andere vloeistoffen kunnen het apparaat beschadigen.
· Gebruik geen gekaramelliseerde of met suiker bedekte koffiebonen.
· Gebruik geen ongebrande koffie (groene, ongebrande bonen) of mengsels met ongebrande koffie. Deze kunnen het apparaat beschadigen.
· Vul het bonenreservoir niet met koffiepoeder.

· Voordat u het apparaat opbergt, moet de netstekker uit het stopcontact getrokken worden en moet het apparaat helemaal afgekoeld zijn.
Bij defect apparaat
Een defect apparaat kan tot materiële schade en letsel leiden:
· Controleer het apparaat voor elk gebruik op schade. Indien u transportschade vaststelt, neem dan direct NL contact op met de dealer waarbij u het apparaat gekocht heeft.
· Gebruik nooit een defect apparaat. Gebruik nooit een apparaat dat gevallen is.
· Als de netkabel van het apparaat beschadigd is, moet deze door de fabrikant of diens klantenservice of een soortgelijk gekwalificeerde persoon vervangen worden, om gevaren te voorkomen.
· Het apparaat bevat geen onderdelen die u zelf kunt repareren. Reparaties mogen uitsluitend door de SEVERIN-service uitgevoerd worden (zie ” Klantenservicecentra” op pagina 192).

4 Apparaat voorbereiden
1. Verwijder alle folies en verpakkingsmateriaal van het apparaat.
2. Plaats het apparaat op een locatie, die aan de volgende voorwaarden voldoet:
· in de buurt van een veiligheidswandcontactdoos (beveiliging min. 10 A)
· horizontaal en trillingsvrij · hittebestendig · reageert niet met rubberen voeten · op afstand van verwarmde of brandbare oppervlakken en voorwer-
pen (> 1 m) · op afstand van wanden (> 15 cm) 3. Reinig het apparaat zoals beschreven in “7.2 Dagelijkse reiniging” op pagina 62.

5 Koffie bereiden

LET OP! Vul de watertank uitsluitend met koud leidingwater, om beschadigingen van het apparaat te voorkomen.

Bloomingfunctie

Om een voller koffiearoma te krijgen, is het apparaat uitgerust met een bloomingfunctie. Daarbij wordt het koffiepoeder voor het eigenlijke zetproces door en door met heet water bevochtigd. Het kan opwellen, de koffiesmaak wordt intensiever.

2. Vul maximaal 200 g koffiebonen in het bonenreservoir 14 . 3. Plaats het deksel van het reservoir 15 weer en druk het vast. 4. Druk op de toets “OPEN” 11 aan de zijkant van het apparaat,
om de filterdeur 4 te openen. 5. Plaats het filterinzetstuk 3 in de filterdeur 4 . 6. Plaats een wegwerpkoffiefilter in het filterinzetstuk 3 .

TIP In plaats van het wegwerpkoffiefilter kunt u ook het permanente filter 2 gebruiken.
7. Plaats de filterring 1 op het filterinzetstuk 3 . 8. Sluit de filterdeur 4 . 9. Neem de koffiekan 5 weg.

TIP
Vul de koffiekan alleen tot het gewenste aantal kopjes, omdat voor de bereiding al het gevulde water verbruikt wordt. Een kopje komt overeen met ca. 125 ml.

10. Vul de koffiekan 5 met koud leidingwater tot de markering van het gewenste aantal kopjes.

11. Open de watertank 13 .

12. Giet het water in de watertank 13 . Controleer het vulpeil op de vulpeilweergave 9 .

13. Sluit de watertank 13 .

14. Zet de koffiekan 5 op de verwarmingsplaat 7 .

15. Steek de netstekker 8 in het stopcontact. Druk op de toets ” “. Â Het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld. Op het display worden de tijd en de actuele instellingen weergegeven.

TIP Als u na de bereiding niet op de knop ” ” drukt, wordt de koffie zo lang warm gehouden als aangegeven onder ” Stel de uitschakeltijd in” op pagina 57.
Maalgraad aanpassen
LET OP! Verstel de maalgraad alleen, als het apparaat op dat moment koffiebonen maalt, anders kunt u de maler beschadigen.
TIP Aanbevolen wordt om voor een lichte branding een fijne maalgraad in te stellen, bij een donkere branding is een grove maalgraad optimaal. De branding staat meestal op de koffieverpakking.
1. Bereid koffie met koffiebonen, “5.1 met koffiebonen” op pagina 58. 2. Wacht tot het apparaat bonen maalt.

3. Zet de maalgraadregelaar 12 op de gewenste waarde.

· Als u de regelaar rechtsom richting “-” draait, wordt de koffie fijner

5.2 met koffiepoeder
1. Druk op de toets “OPEN” 11 aan de zijkant van het apparaat, om de filterdeur 4 te openen.
2. Plaats het filterinzetstuk 3 in de filterdeur 4 . 3. Plaats een wegwerpkoffiefilter in het filterinzetstuk 3 .

TIP In plaats van het wegwerpkoffiefilter kunt u ook het permanente filter 2 gebruiken.
4. Vul koffiepoeder in het wegwerpkoffiefilter. Gebruik voor het vullen de meegeleverde doseerlepel 6 . Gebruik voor de dosering de volgende tabel:

6 Bereiding programmering
LET OP! Let erop, dat het apparaat op het tijdstip van de bereiding correct gemonteerd is, omdat het apparaat anders beschadigd kan raken.
TIP Als het programmeren al is geselecteerd en de knop ” ” blauw brandt, kunnen de programmeertijd, koffiesterkte en hoeveelheid koppen niet meer worden gewijzigd. Om wijzigingen aan te brengen, schakelt u de programmering uit door kort op de knop ” ” te drukken.
Als u de bereiding programmeert, zal de koffiemachine eenmalig voor de ingestelde tijd koffie met de aangebrachte instellingen bereiden.

1. Stel de gewenste instellingen voor de bereiding in, “5.1 met koffiebonen” op pagina 58 of “5.2 met koffiepoeder” op pagina 59.
2. Houd de toets “PROG” 2 seconden ingedrukt. Â Er wordt een knipperende tijd weergegeven.
3. Druk herhaaldelijk op de toets ” ” om de uren in te stellen. 4. Druk herhaaldelijk op de toets ” ” om de minuten in te stellen.
5. Druk op de toets ” ” om de invoer te bevestigen. Â Op het display verschijnt de actuele tijd weer en ” ” wordt weergegeven. De knop ” ” brandt blauw. De koffiemachine zal voor de ingestelde tijd met de actuele instellingen koffie bereiden.
6. Druk opnieuw op de toets ” ” om de geprogrammeerde bereiding uit te schakelen. Â De knop ” ” brandt wit. De geprogrammeerde bereiding is uitgeschakeld.
7 Apparaat reinigen
WAARSCHUWING! Verbrandingsgevaar! ­ Voor alle reinigingswerkzaamheden: Trek de
netstekker 8 uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat en de componenten ervan volledig afkoelen (minimaal 30 minuten).
WAARSCHUWING! Letselgevaar en beschadiging van het apparaat! ­ Dompel het apparaat nooit in water!

WAARSCHUWING! Gezondheidsrisico’s door verkeerde reinigingsmiddelen!
­ Gebruik alleen levensmiddelengeschikte reinigingsmiddelen voor de reiniging van de onderdelen, die met water en koffie in contact komen.

LET OP!

7.1 Na de bereiding
1. Zorg ervoor, dat de bereiding afgesloten en het apparaat afgekoeld is.
2. Druk op de toets “OPEN” 11 aan de zijkant van het apparaat, om de filterdeur 4 te openen.
3. Neem de filterring 1 weg.
4. Neem het filterinzetstuk 3 met permanent filter 2 resp. wegwerpkoffiefilter weg.
5. Schud het koffiedik uit het permanente filter 2 uit bij het huisvuil of gooi het wegwerpkoffiefilter met koffiedik bij het huisvuil.
6. Spoel het filterinzetstuk 3 en het permanente filter 2 onder stromend water uit.
7. Laat het filterinzetstuk 3 en het permanente filter 2 drogen, voordat u het weer in het apparaat plaatst.

7.2 Dagelijkse reiniging
1. Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat uitgeschakeld, afgekoeld en de netstekker 8 uit het stopcontact getrokken is.
2. Druk op de toets “OPEN” 11 aan de zijkant van het apparaat, om de filterdeur 4 te openen.
3. Neem de filterring 1 weg. 4. Neem het filterinzetstuk 3 met permanent filter 2 weg. 5. Was het filterinzetstuk 3 en het permanente filter 2 in warm, met
afwasmiddel vermengd water uit.

10. Droog alle componenten grondig af voordat u de componenten weer plaatst.

7.3 Apparaatspoeling
1. Zorg ervoor, dat zich geen filter met koffieresten in het apparaat bevindt en de koffiekan 5 schoon is.
2. Neem de koffiekan 5 weg. 3. Vul de koffiekan 5 tot de markering “10” met koud leidingwater.
LET OP! Vul de watertank uitsluitend met koud leidingwater, om beschadigingen van het apparaat te voorkomen.
4. Giet het water in de watertank 13 . 5. Zet de koffiekan 5 op de verwarmingsplaat 7 . 6. Steek de netstekker 8 in het stopcontact. Druk op de toets ” “.

7. Druk op de toets ” “. Â De knop ” ” brandt blauw en geeft aan dat de molen is uitgeschakeld.

9. Druk op de toets ” “, zodat de verwarmingsplaat 7 uitgeschakeld wordt.
10. Leeg en reinig de koffiekan 5 .

7.4 Apparaat ontkalken
Alle heetwaterapparatuur moet worden ontkalkt afhankelijk van het kalkgehalte van het water en de gebruiksfrequentie. De garantie is niet van toepassing op apparatuur die niet goed werkt vanwege een gebrek aan ontkalking.
Het apparaat is uitgerust met een ontkalkingsherinnering na een gebruik van 200 keer. Dan knipperen alle indicatoren op het display. Het ontkalken moet dan onmiddellijk worden uitgevoerd. Als het drinkwater een hoog calciumgehalte heeft, moet eerder worden ontkalkt. Als de koffiezettijd langer wordt of een toename van het geluid wordt waargenomen, is dit een zeker teken dat het koffiezetapparaat moet worden ontkalkt.
De ontkalkingsherinnering verdwijnt na het ontkalken en twee spoelbeurten of na drie koffiezettingen. 1. Zorg ervoor, dat zich geen filter met koffieresten in het apparaat bevindt
en de koffiekan 5 schoon is. 2. Neem de koffiekan 5 weg. 3. Vul de koffiekan 5 tot de markering “10” met koud leidingwater.
4. Giet het water in de watertank 13 .
5. Giet 80 ml azijnaftreksel in de watertank 13 .
6. Zet de koffiekan 5 op de verwarmingsplaat 7 .
7. Steek de netstekker 8 in het stopcontact. Druk op de toets ” “. Â Het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld.

7.5 Oppervlak reinigen
Reinig het oppervlak van het apparaat met een niet-pluizende, zachte doek.

Uso correcto
ADVERTENCIA: El uso incorrecto del aparato provoca lesiones. El aparato está destinado exclusivamente a la preparación de café a partir de granos de café tostados molidos y sin moler. Cualquier uso distinto se considera no conforme al previsto y puede provocar daños personales o materiales. ES El aparato está destinado a ser utilizado en un entorno doméstico o similar, por ejemplo, en oficinas. · en la cocina de un comercio, oficina, etc. para
el uso por parte de los empleados; · en granjas; · en hoteles, moteles y otros complejos residenciales

No es apto para el uso comercial, p. ej. en grandes cocinas. El aparato no está destinado a funcionar con un temporizador o un sistema separado de acción remota (mando a distancia).

Corriente
Dado que el aparato funciona con corriente eléctrica, existe riesgo de choque eléctrico. Observe siempre las siguientes medidas de precaución:
· Conecte el aparato siempre directamente a una toma de corriente con contacto de protección e instalada correctamente (fusible mín. de 10 A). No utilice cables de prolongación ni tomas múltiples.
· Utilice el aparato solo si la tensión indicada en la placa de características coincide con la tensión de la toma de corriente.
· Asegúrese de que el cable de alimentación no queda doblado ni aprisionado, y que ni él ni el aparato entran en contacto con fuentes de calor (p. ej. placas de cocción, fuego) ni con la placa de calentamiento.
· Cuando desenchufe el conector de alimentación de la toma de corriente, tire siempre por el conector. No mueva el aparato por el cable de alimentación.
· No sumerja el aparato nunca en agua ni otros líquidos y no lo lave bajo el agua corriente ni en el lavavajillas.
· No sujete nunca el conector de alimentación con las manos mojadas.

· No utilice el aparato al aire libre. · Incluso con el aparato apagado, continúa habiendo
tensión en su interior mientras el cable de alimentación esté enchufado a la toma de corriente. · El aparato no estará separado de la alimentación hasta haber extraído el conector de alimentación. · Extraiga el conector de alimentación antes de introducir agua en el aparato. · Extraiga el enchufe de la toma de corriente después de cada uso. · En caso de peligro o defecto, desenchufe el conector inmediatamente de la toma de corriente. Por eso es importante que la toma de corriente en la que se enchufa el aparato resulte siempre fácilmente accesible. · Desenchufe el cable de alimentación de la toma de corriente antes de limpiar, mantener, montar o desmontar el aparato. · No abra nunca el aparato ni realice ninguna modificación técnica en él.

Peligro de escaldadura
El aparato caliente agua y la mantiene caliente. De ello derivan peligros de quemadura.
· Si la salida está sucia, puede salpicar líquido o vapor caliente. Asegúrese de que la salida está limpia.
· No abra la puerta del filtro con el aparato en funcionamiento.
· La placa de calentamiento está caliente durante y después del funcionamiento. No toque la placa de ES calentamiento mientras el aparato está en funcionamiento. Después del uso, espere hasta que la placa de calentamiento se haya enfriado.

Falta de higiene

La falta de higiene puede provocar la formación de gérmenes en el aparato:

· Vacíe y limpie la jarra, el cartucho del filtro y el filtro

permanente cada día.

· Vacíe el aparato si no lo va a utilizar durante un

Peligros para el aparato
La manipulación indebida del aparato puede derivar en daños:
· Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie seca, plana, antideslizante y resistente al calor que no haga reacción con los soportes de goma.
· El aparato no debe utilizarse en un armario cerrado. · No coloque el aparato sobre una superficie caliente
ni cerca de fuentes de calor intenso. · No deje el cable de alimentación suspendido. De lo
contrario habrá peligro de tropiezo. · Introduzca únicamente agua corriente fría y limpia

El agua corriente o cualquier otro líquido caliente o muy caliente pueden dañar el aparato. · No utilice granos de café caramelizados ni recubiertos de azúcar. · No utilice café sin tratar (granos verdes no tostados) ni mezclas de café sin tratar. Pueden dañar el aparato. · No introduzca café molido en el depósito de granos de café.

Si el aparato tiene un defecto
Un aparato defectuoso puede provocar daños materiales y lesiones:

4 Preparar el aparato

1. Elimine todas las láminas y todo el material de embalaje del aparato.

2. Emplace el aparato en un lugar que cumpla las siguientes condiciones:

Para obtener café con un aroma más intenso, el aparato está equipado con una función especial de blooming. Con la misma, el café molido se empapa de agua caliente antes de la preparación. Puede aumentar el volumen y el sabor del café se vuelve más intenso.

3. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del depósito 15 y apriétela. 4. Pulse el botón “OPEN” 11 situado en el lateral del aparato para abrir la

CONSEJO Si después de la preparación no pulsa el botón ” “, el café se mantendrá caliente durante el tiempo que se ha introducido según el punto ” Ajustar el tiempo de apagado” en la página 72.
Adaptar el grado de molido
¡CUIDADO! Ajuste el grado de molido únicamente mientras el aparato esté moliendo granos, ya que de lo contrario puede dañar el molinillo.
CONSEJO Si el grano es de tueste claro, conviene ajustar un grado de molido más fino, mientras que para un tueste oscuro el ajuste óptimo es un grado medio. El tueste suele estar indicado en el envase del café.
1. Prepare un café con granos de café, “5.1 con granos de café” en la página 73.
2. Espere a que el aparato comience a moler granos.

4. Introduzca el café molido en el filtro desechable. Para introducir el café molido utilice la cuchara dosificadora 6 . Para la dosificación, oriéntese a partir de la siguiente tabla:

5. Coloque el aro del filtro 1 sobre el cartucho 3 .

7. Retire la jarra.

CONSEJO Llene la jarra solo hasta el número de tazas deseado, ya que en la preparación del café se consume toda el agua introducida. Una taza equivale aproximadamente a 125 ml.
8. Llene la jarra 5 hasta la marca correspondiente al número de tazas deseado.
9. Abra el depósito de agua 13 .
10. Introduzca el agua en el depósito de agua 13 . Compruebe el nivel de llenado en la escala de nivel de llenado 9 .
11. Cierre el depósito de agua 13 .
12. Coloque la jarra 5 sobre la placa de calentamiento 7 .
13. Enchufe el conector de alimentación 8 en la toma de corriente. Pulse el botón ” “. Â El aparato se enciende. En la pantalla se muestra la hora y los ajustes actuales.

14. Pulse el botón ” ” para desconectar el molinillo. Â El botón ” ” se ilumina en azul.
15. Pulse el botón ” “. Â El botón ” ” se ilumina. El aparato comienza a preparar el café y en la pantalla aparece el símbolo ” “.
16. Espere a que el aparato emita 3 señales acústicas y el símbolo ” ” desaparezca de la pantalla. Â El café ya está listo.

6 Programación de la preparación de café

¡CUIDADO!
Asegúrese de que en el momento de la preparación el aparato está montado correctamente, ya que de lo contrario podría resultar dañado.

CONSEJO Si ya ha seleccionado la programación y el botón , se ilumina en azul, la hora de la programación, la concentración del café y la cantidad de tazas ya no se pueden cambiar. Para realizar cambios, desactive la programación pulsando el botón ,.

Si programa la preparación, la cafetera preparará café una sola vez a la hora ajustada y con los ajustes programados.
1. Programe los ajustes deseados para la preparación, “5.1 con granos de café” en la página 73 o “5.2 con café molido” en la página 75.
2. Mantenga pulsado el botón ” ” durante 2 segundos. Â Aparece una hora intermitente.
3. Pulse repetidamente el botón ” ” para ajustar la hora. 4. Pulse repetidamente el botón ” ” para ajustar los minutos.
5. Pulse el botón ” ” para confirmar la entrada. Â En la pantalla vuelve a aparecer la hora actual y se muestra ” “. El botón ” ” se ilumina en azul. La cafetera preparará café a la hora ajustada y con los ajustes actuales.
6. Para desactivar la preparación programada, vuelva a pulsar el botón ” “. Â El botón ” ” se ilumina en blanco. La preparación programada está desactivada.
7 Limpieza del aparato
¡ADVERTENCIA! ¡Peligro de escaldadura!
­ Antes de cualquier trabajo de limpieza: Desenchufe el conector de alimentación 8 de la toma de corriente y deje que el aparato y sus componentes se enfríen por completo (como mínimo 30 minutos).

¡ADVERTENCIA! Peligro de lesiones y daños en el aparato. ­ No sumerja el aparato nunca en agua.
¡ADVERTENCIA! Riesgos para la salud en caso de limpieza incorrecta. ­ Para limpiar las piezas que entran en contacto
con el agua y el café utilice solo productos de limpieza aptos para alimentos.
¡CUIDADO! No utilice para la limpieza productos abrasivos ni productos de limpieza o utensilios agresivos que puedan rayar la superficie. No lave el aparato en el lavavajillas.
7.1 Tras la preparación
1. Asegúrese de que la preparación ha concluido y de que el aparato se ha enfriado.
2. Pulse el botón “OPEN” 11 situado en el lateral del aparato para abrir la puerta del filtro 4 .
3. Retire el aro del filtro 1 . 4. Extraiga el cartucho del filtro 3 junto con el filtro permanente 2 o
bien el filtro de café desechable. 5. Sacuda el filtro permanente 2 en un cubo de basura para extraer el
café usado o bien deseche el filtro desechable junto con el café usado a la basura doméstica.

6. Enjuague el cartucho de filtro 3 y el filtro permanente 2 bajo agua corriente.
7. Deje que el cartucho del filtro 3 y el filtro permanente 2 se sequen antes de volver a colocarlos en el aparato.
7.2 Limpieza diaria
1. Asegúrese de que el aparato está apagado y frío y de que el conector de alimentación 8 está desenchufado.
2. Pulse el botón “OPEN” 11 situado en el lateral del aparato para abrir la puerta del filtro 4 .
3. Retire el aro del filtro 1 .

4. Extraiga el cartucho del filtro 3 junto con el filtro permanente 2 . 5. Lave el cartucho del filtro 3 y el filtro permanente 2 en agua caliente
con lavavajillas.
CONSEJO El aro del filtro 1 , el filtro permanente 2 y el cartucho del filtro 3 también se pueden limpiar en el lavavajillas, igual que la jarra 5 .
6. Limpie la puerta del filtro 4 con agua caliente con lavavajillas. 7. Vacíe la jarra 5 . 8. Lave la jarra 5 con agua caliente con lavavajillas. 9. Limpie la placa de calentamiento 7 con un paño húmedo. 10. Seque todos los componentes a conciencia antes de volver a colocarlos.

7.3 Enjuague el aparato
1. Asegúrese de que no hay un filtro con restos de café en el aparato y de que la jarra 5 está limpia.
2. Retire la jarra 5 .
3. Llene la jarra 5
