READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE AND SAVE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed as below:
- Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use handles and knobs.

- To protect against electrical shock and affecting the function, do not immerse the body, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Do not operate the appliance without food contents, or else the container body may change shape from the heat.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injuries.

- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not attempt to move or transport this appliance while it is in operation and plugged into the electrical outlet.
- Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn all control knobs to “OFF”, then remove plug from wall outlet.

- Do not place any of the following materials in the unit: Paper, cardboard, plastic and/or similar non-food materials.
- Some countertop and table surfaces, such as Corian®, wood and/or laminates, are not designed to withstand prolonged heat generated by certain appliances. SHORT CORD PURPOSE
Note: A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a long cord.
Longer power-supply cords or extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If an extension cord is used: (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by children or pets.
POLARIZED PLUG

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug
If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord. Once you are done using the Buffet Server, turn the temperature setting to the “OFF” position.
-
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
-
Remove any remaining food from the buffet containers.
-
Let the appliance completely cool down completely then disassemble, clean and thoroughly dry all parts before storing or assembling again for use.
NOTE:
- The initial 15 minutes of use may result in some smell and smoke. This is normal and harmless and comes from the protective substance applied to the heating elements during manufacturing. It will disappear with subsequent use.
- This appliance is not designed to defrost or cook food. The low, medium, and high settings are for use with the large pan and/or buffet trays.
- The “HEAT” indicator light will turn on and off as temperature selected is being maintained. The “Power” indicator light will stay on until the unit is unplugged from the outlet.
CAUTION:
- Do not immerse the warming tray or plug in water or any other liquid!
- Do not leave food in the buffet server for more than 4 hours!
USING THE WARMING TRAY:
- Remove the Baking Pan, the 3 serving trays, and the lids.
- Clean and thoroughly dry the surface of the warming tray before operating. (See “CLEANING & MAINTENANCE” section for instructions)
- Place pre-cooked food items on the warming tray.

- Remove any remaining food items from the Warming Tray.
- Let the tray cool down thoroughly. Then, clean and thoroughly dry before storing or using again.
USING THE BAKING PAN WITH THE WARMING TRAY:
- Make sure the baking pan and the warming tray are clean and thoroughly dry. Place the baking pan on top of the warming tray. (See “CLEANING & MAINTENANCE” section for instructions)
- Add your pre-cooked food items to the baking pan.
- With the temperature setting in the “OFF” position, plug the appliance into a standard 120V electrical outlet.
- Set the temperature control knob to desired temperature.
- Once you are done using the buffet server, turn the temperature setting to the “OFF” position and unplug from the outlet.
- Remove any remaining food from the baking pan.
- Let the warming tray and baking pan cool down thoroughly. Then, clean and thoroughly dry them before storing or using.
SETTINGS / TEMPERATURE GUIDE:
SETTINGS | TEMP. | RECOMMENDATION |
---|---|---|
WARMING TRAY | 150°F | This setting is used when placing foods directly on the |
warming tray only
LOW| 160°F| Minimum setting when the large pan is used on the warming tray
MEDIUM| 170°F| Minimum setting when large pan/buffet trays are used on the
warming tray.
HIGH| 180°F| To keep foods at a higher temperature when using the large
pan/buffet trays.
CAUTION:
- Do not use the warming tray to cook or defrost food. Do not place the clear dome lids directly onto the warming tray during operation. To prevent injury, only use the “warming tray” temperature setting when placing food directly onto the warming tray.
- Use caution when serving items on the warming tray as the surface of the warming tray will be very hot.
- Do not leave food in the buffet server for more than 4 hours!
- The silicone grips on the handles are oven safe up to 350°F.
NOTE:
- The baking pan is oven safe; you can take your dishes directly from the oven to the warming tray. Always use oven mitts when removing the baking pan from the oven, as it will be hot.
- The temperature ranges are measured with the large pan/ buffet trays on the warming tray. The surface temperature of the warming tray will be much hotter than the temperature ranges listed in the table because it is transferring heat towards the large pans/buffet trays.
HELPFUL TIPS
- It is important to maintain all warm or hot foods at a minimum of 140ºF over an extended period of time to prevent any food borne illness.
- Use a food thermometer to regularly monitor the temperature of the food and adjust it when necessary to maintain them at a minimum of 140ºF.
- All foods have different consistencies so depending on what you are serving you may have to adjust the temperature on the buffet server lower or higher to maintain them at a minimum temperature of 140ºF.
- Temperatures may fluctuate as the food is being served and the contents of the large pan and / or buffet trays are emptied.
- You may adjust the temperature accordingly to avoid over or under heating the prepared food.
- All foods have different consistencies and may require a lower or higher setting to keep the food warm. For example, a higher temperature setting will be required to keep mashed potatoes warm and a lower temperature to keep gravy warm.
- This unit is designed to reach a minimum temperature at each setting. (See “TEMPERATURE SETTING GUIDE” for more information.)
- ONLY THE BAKING PAN IS OVEN SAFE AND UP TO 350°F.
- You can also use water inside of the large pan when using the buffet trays to distribute the heat more evenly without creating hot spots in the buffet trays. This is especially effective when serving sauces or creamy dishes.
- THE SILICONE GRIPS ON THE HANDLES ARE OVEN SAFE ONLY UP TO 350°F.
- Always operate the appliance over a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Extended use of the buffet server over long periods of time at high temperatures may cause discoloration of the buffet trays and scorching may occur on the warming tray.

- DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE SOAPS, DETERGENTS, OR CLEANING MATERIALS TO CLEAN THIS APPLIANCE
