Longer power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.

If an extension cord is used:  (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can  unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by children or pets.

If this appliance is equipped with a  polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other), please follow the below instructions:

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug.

If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug of the  product or any extension cord being used with this product.  Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the  polarized plug.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any further images?****

I didn’t want to open the box and take it out for additional pictures because it was in its original taped sealed box when I took the pictures of the box. I assumed the buyer would want it brand new and in the box.

Could you melt wax or glue in this?****

Yes, you can, in my opinion. You would need to determine the ideal temperature to prevent it from smoking because it gets really hot.

I’m looking for a device that can safely melt wax at a relatively low temperature. Does the 7″ have a three-setting temperature control or a progressive one?****

It controls the temperature gradually.

Does this work on wood surfaces?****

Indeed, it has legs. I work with mine on a butcher block.

What kind of plug does it have, and what watts does it have?****

This has an extremely short life span if provided by a greater voltage, according to the electrical power formula and ohm’s law, when applied solely to electrical matters. If plugged into a 220 volt outlet, it would only briefly operate at 2400 watts before burning up, unless it is electronically regulated, which is highly unlikely. When the applied voltage is doubled, it would require four times the amperage/current, and the wiring and heating element were not made for that!

Can I use this to heat hot glue? What kind, if any?****

I’ve never heated glue in this fryer before.

What do watts mean?****

It was difficult to spot, but I eventually found it in the bottom of the pan, and it has a 600 watt rating. It is not graded because, in my opinion, that is at its highest heat. Hope this was useful. I’ve never had mine so high.

Is this washable when submerged in water?****

It works excellent for what I use it for, so I don’t submerge it in water before using it on my truck and cleaning it up for the next time.

Can I obtain temperature control that is adjustable?****

It includes a temperature control that is programmable.

Is this tiny pan compatible with 110V power?****

It does indeed plug into a standard power outlet.

What is the temperature at its highest?****

Although I’m not sure of the exact temperature, it seems to function like any other electric skillet and has so far had no trouble cooking anything.
