Product Usage Instructions
Configuring Setup Files
This camera allows you to save the menu settings as a setup file on a PC.
Loading a saved setup file enables you to reproduce the appropriate setup
state speedily. Use the firmware update application (upgrade_standard.exe) to
save (export) and load (import) the setup file.
- Connect the camera to a PC on the same network and run the upgrade_standard.exe application on the PC.
- Click the [Search] button to display the cameras connected on the same network.
- Select the camera to save the setup file.
- Click the [Import/Export] tab to view the information of the selected camera.
The information of the selected camera is displayed.
To save the setup file:

Saving the Setup File (Export)

Click the [Export] button. To save the setup file, click the [Export] button. Specify the destination folder and provide a file name.

Click the [Save] button. Click the [Save] button to save the setup file to the specified folder. An Export Success message will appear if the saving is successful. The setup file is saved to the specified folder. An “Export Success” message appears if the saving is successful.
Memo :
The settings for saving are as follows.- Preset positions (255 positions)
- Setting values
However, the following setting values are not saved in the setup file.
- [Video] of the View Remote screen
- [System] [User] settings of View Remote
- [Network] [Lan Settings] settings of View RemoteNote: The settings for saving include preset positions (255 positions) and all setting values except for [Video] of the View Remote screen, [System]B[User] settings of View Remote, and [Network]B[Lan Settings] settings of View Remote.
Loading the Setup Files (Import)
To load a previously saved setup file, follow these steps:
- Connect the camera to a PC on the same network and run the upgrade_standard.exe application on the PC.
- Click the [Search] button to display the cameras connected on the same network.
- Select the camera to load the setup file.
- Click the [Import/Export] tab to view the information of the selected camera.
- Click the [Select] button to choose the setup file you want to import.
- Click the [Import] button to load the setup file. An Import Success message will appear if the loading is successful.
Click the [Select] button.
A dialog box to select the file is displayed. Select the file name to
import. Click the [Open] button.
The file name appears in the Setup File field. Click the import target select button.
You can select from the following three types.
- [All] : Imports all the settings.
- [Without Preset]: Imports the settings other than presets.
- [Only Preset] : Imports only the preset settings.
Press the [Import] button.
Loads the setup file. An “Import Success” message appears if the loading is successful.
Still Image Capture
This unit is able to capture 4 still images. These image files can be accessed
via a web browser on the PC that is connected to the same network.
Launch the web browser on the PC to be connected to this unit, and enter the
following text string in the address field to continuously record 4 still
image files.

0&4&[Interval]&photo&0
[Interval] is used to set the interval for recording the still images in units
of seconds.
You can specify a value between 1 to 9 seconds for [Interval].
(Example:If the IP address of this unit is 192.168.0.10 and 4 still images are
to be recorded at 5 second intervals, enter the following character string in
the address field.

To access a still image, launch the web browser on the PC to be connected to
this unit, and enter the following text strings in the address field.
