Troubleshooting
Problems | Possible causes | Solutions |
---|
No connection is established: The Parental Unit does not emit any sound when
there is noise coming from the baby’s room| The volume is perhaps switched
off.| Check the volume is not on position «0».
The Parental Unit may be beyond the range of the Baby Unit;
therefore, the connection is interrupted.| Try reducing the distance between
the appliances so that the power
signal indicator displays at least one bar.
Why does the appliance transmit a high-pitched sound?| The units may be too
close.| Ensure that they are at least 1 metre apart.
The volume of the Parental Unit is too high.| Lower the volume on the Parent
Unit.
Why are there sound interferences between the two units?| Acoustic feedback
occurs when the two units (Parental and Baby) are too close.| Distance the two
units and ensure that there is a minimum distance of 1 metre between the two.
The image does not work and is not clear when I am within the recommended 250
metres| This recommended
range is only valid in the open, outside. It is
limited inside by partitions or walls that are too thick, creating an
obstacle.| Approach the camera to the receiver avoiding walls and partitions.
Inside, the range does not exceed 30 metres.
