Are the led lights rechargeable or do they have to be plugged in?

It has to be plugged into the system it is not rechargeable.

How do u turn on the led light because flipping the switch does not work on the pair I jus bought to use with ps5??

The led light only works when plugged into a PC or laptop so the USB option is only. You can plug the USB into your PS5 and you’ll see it only works through USB. The headphone jack doesn’t allow the led to be turned on.

Can the mic be removed/unplugged from the headset?

The mic is not detachable, it’s built into the overall design of the headset. The only thing you can do with the mic is moved the mouthpiece to the left to get it away from your face or adjust it to the desired position so it’s not in the way of speaking. That way you have room for drinking liquid or eating a snack while using the mic.

Is this compatible with playstation 3?

Yes, if the PlayStation 3 has a headphone Jack or a USB plug it can be used for this device.
